Gogo's is my go to curry place in the mount lawley/ highgate area and the best around here as well. All the staff are friendly and service is quick also. The food is really well priced for the location and is suitable for couples and larger groups. I mean if it's good enough for Tendulkar then it's good enough for me
Best food on Beaufort. I've been to Gogos so many times over the past ten years and I really can't recommend it enough. The set menu is fantastic and such a great way to share lots of different meals. There is no better meal in this world than Gogo's Lamb Saag!! The staff are lovely and Gogo is a gentleman - will always keep coming back here. You cannot be disappointed at Gogos!!
Good night and food. Had been at Go Gos about two years ago and food was great and lot of punters there. We went with another couple on Friday just gone and there was hardly anyone there. The food was really great and service quite OK but it is a bit expensive - $185 for 4 of us without wine.
Great indian. Fantasic food, attentive and friendly staff. I thought the wine list was good, with plenty of options across the scale of price, althoufh we only really looked at reds... we shared chicken malai kabab tandoori to start which was amazing, just a hint of spice and the freshness of the lime balnced it beautifully. I would highly recommend it. I had the goat rogan josh and it was also very flavorsome with plenty of meat. it was a tuesday night when we ate and the restaurant was quiet so my only suggestion to the owner would be to add some music to break up the sounds of people carrying on, the street and add some atmosphere. aside from that a great meal and ill be back

We started with the tandoori platter which was all delicious,my partner had the chicken tikka which he said was probably one of the best he's had, my goat was melt in the mouth tender, the naan was amazing the best I've ever had. The biryani rice was a perfect match.
This place definitely not over priced for the quality food will be back and will bring friends
Fantastic food the best Indian I have had in a long time,the chilli calamari was nice. Was a bit shocked by the $10 corkage fee but I'll be back again.
Certainly not the best Indian in Perth but nice enough. Decor was a bit rickety but staff were pleasant and attentive. Good wine list. Food was the usual Indian fodder but pleasant tasting. Only problem was there wasn't enough of it. Ordered 4 dishes plus rice & naan for 5 people, but we all went a bit hungry. Inexpensive though. Would go back but just order more!
Best in Perth. After a cold, wet rugby match on Saturday night, a mate and I went to GoGo's to warm ourselves up.
The food and service were both excellent. The lamb chops were so tender as was the goat curry.
Highly recommended!

Nice place. Great food but they dont like you sharing th banquet if you buy it. Not even a little bit on naan. But overall 10/10

By far the best Indian cuisine in Perth. Not cheap, but well worth it. Great to have the man Gogo there to give you advice on what to order. Been several times and never disappointed. Friend attentive staff and very helpful & accommodating with families with kids/prams etc.
Mixed feelings.... I heard rave reviews about the melt in your mouth lamb cutlets. I came here a long time ago to have pure vegetarian food and it was good but pricey.
It's true they just give you a bottle of water and papadums you said you dont want and then it comes out in the bill. Happened to us but we shrugged it off.
Food (butter chicken was so tomato-eh, palak paneer was bright green so not overcooked but very bland) ranged from good-average but not the best we've had, including the lamb I found was a little dry though soft. Service was good and food came out on time. Pricey.

Service dropping with every visit. No complaints about the food - every time we have been here with family,friends,work mates numerous times over the last few years.
Off late looks the service is dropping with every visit. Unfortunately the good food was overtaken by Rude service & arrogant attitude by the order taking ladies who clearly seem to missed the whole point of good customer service. Please do not offer the Banquet if you cannot deliver the order in time & change this attitude of yours else its good bye Gogo's!!!
Great food, service and atmosphere!. My partner suggested Gogo's after hearing several recommendations & I decided to book for a catch up dinner with our friends on a Saturday night despite the dis-heartening reviews on urban spoon.
As soon as we arrived we were shown to our table & asked if we'd like drinks, as we were still deciding the waitress left but returned promptly a few mins later, service throughout the evening was very attentive with waitresses topping up our wine & recommending dishes etc, food was excellent & servings were ample, went with the banquets as there was 6 of us. Honestly not a bad word to say about the place, I liked the way there are seperate rooms, made it feel quite cosy & a bit more private. Would recommend to anyone for a great evening :)
I have been here a couple of times when we have not booked somewhere else as you can normally get a table without booking. The staff never seem very happy to be there our waitress on saturday looked really miserable but she was helpful and asked the chef if could make one of the dishes vegan for me. The portions are small which is unusual for an indian!! The food is average, no where near the same standard as some of the other Indians but ok if your looking for a casual quick bite to eat. I wouldn`t book here for a special occassion or romantic dinner as its very hectic and crowded.
Incredible flavours and texture. Heard a lot about this place from practically everyone, so ate there last night.
To me, indian food should never be so goddam expensive in general. It's incredible how stupid most people are to think curry is an expensive commodity - like steel and lead.

So looking at the menu and these prices were very reasonable, and I must say I would have happily paid double for the quality alone.

Excellent Service & Food. I haven't been to this restaurant in many years and was surprised to drop in unexpectedly with an overseas friend on a public holiday when everything else was closed.
The restaurant was amazingly clean and fresh, the staff were incredibly professional and groomed and the food was superb!

Best Indian Restaurant in town!. We were a group of 8 friends booked in for a friday night. We had the banquet and i must say it was the best thing we did. The range of appetisers and mains served were absolutely amazing. It included nan breads, rice, sides and accompaniments. Highly Recommended!!!
Plasantly surprised. After reading all the bad reviews this place had, I was a little reluctant to go, but I was convinced by a persuasive friend and I was glad I went. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait all that long for it. The service while not the best around was efficient and friendly enough. It is a little pricey for Indian food but I thought it was well worth it and would recommend it to anyone. However, we were there on a Thur so it wasn't all that busy, I can imagine how some tables might be neglected on a busy weekend coz the table we were sitting in for example was completely out of the way, and would have been hard to attract their attention if they didn't come around so often.

Service- good.. Thanks to previous revie on urbanspoon I was aware of the mineral water that gets plonked on the table without asking if you'd prefer to pay for mineral water or prefer free tap water.
Atmosphere- great if you are a cricket lover... Gogo's restaurant should be in the tourist guides as a place for all tourist's with a love of the game to enjoy a piece of cricket history over a good curry.
Overall I'd give the place a 7.5 out of 10... Just be weary of parking on a Saturday night... It took us 20 minutes to find a parking at least 700mts away!
No Go's. Under direction from a couple that perceive themselves as "Curry Buff's" I have sampled Gogos wares a number of times over the past few months. Sadly he has fallen short on all expeditions. Flavors are fresh however the size of portions lacking. Whilst I would not normally use this as a factor in a rating a restaurant, one doesn't like feeling ripped off after having eaten (or at any point for that matter) Getting 4 pieces of fatty beef in a vindaloo hardly warrants the $18 price tag!
Excellent food and service, ordered the banquet ($45) and it was great value. Two lots of mixed starters, chose your mains and they will top them up as much as you like. Quantities were good but we just had to go a second round of the famous lamb chops. Highly recommended.
Not as good as before. I went there for a dinner with friends a couple of weeks ago. Something has changed in the kitchen. While the food was good, it isn't great like before. The eggplant curry and the paneer makanwala were the highlights of the night. The usually excellent lamb chops were undercooked, the tikka chicken was a bit bland.
I found the service to be fine, waiters were helpful in giving suggestions and attentive during the night making sure we had enough drinks. Our food came out pretty quickly, despite it being a busy friday night.

Banquet for big eaters only. I was a little apprehensive after reading the last few reviews but went for the banquet anyway because the kids had been looking forward to it. I must say the food was good and if you're really hungry, or big eaters as my boys were, the banquet's pretty good value for $45 as it allows you to top up your mains as many times as you can eat. The mains on their own though, at about $25 each and for what you got (eight small to medium sized prawns in the prawn masala and same number of beef cubes in the beef vindaloo), were way overpriced. Then again, the boys must have had the equivalent of four mains each in top-ups. That's $100 worth for $45. Even with the overpricing, that was a good deal. What I didn't like was that you must order banquet for all in the party or not at all. So, while the boys had value for money, the girls, with the exception of my oldest, did not. Will I go again? Sure, if the mood and the company's right.
Great. We love this place, if we feel like indian we pretty well always end up here and have never been disappointed. The tasting plate for entree is amazing!
Go-go to Gogos!!. We gathered at Gogos in March for a birthday dinner, with a largish group of about 12.
Service was slow, on the other hand, the food was excellent. We went with the banquet option and were provided with lashings of food that was tasy, tasty, tasty!!
I would definitely recommend Gogos if you're a fan of Indian food, just don't expect awesome service.

Fantastic Naan. I came here awhile back and recall their garlic naan as the tastiest I've had.
Best indian in perth. Hands down best indian - get the tandoori lamb chops if you are stopping by. They have an all you can eat menu too, I think you need 6 people but for $40 each its worth it.
Definitely the best Indian Restaurant in Perth. We had a four course meal and each course was a reason to write! The chef has a modern approach to Indian Food and is not scared to try new things.
A professional chef in a cosy environment at par with some of the top restaurants in Perth.
This is not your Indian Curry Cheapo! You need to understand food to appreciate this!
A Museum of Cricket! Great place to dine - very hygienic. It is expected from top restaurant that it serves bottled water (it is a normal water bottle ($5) not the French or Italian water that could cost you huge).
Great food & service ! Most interesting cricket memorabilia. A must for lovers of first class Indian cuisine and/or cricket tragics !!!
