Great coffee. Nice touch with a little cookie on the side.

I always get the Parisienne roll and a long mac when I come here. Faultless quality and ultra consistent coffee. Friendly service and OK prices.
Valerie Singer
Croissant is definitely not fresh. Staff not very friendly. Coffee very average. It used to be different, the one on hay st was delicious! Shame :(

Patisserie is great, coffee is still good, but food and service quality seemed to have slipped from what it was.
Ebony & the MiaCho Girls
Ham & cheese Croissant was cold inside and a bit scorched outside. At least coffee was hot.
Jean-Christophe Piat
Great coffee, delicious food and succulent staff - what more do you want?

Amazing flat white ... the best I’ve had in Perth for years
Anna Meyn
Great place for cuppa and brunch.
LittleGirlBigFood
Nice baguettes here. I popped in for a snack and chose a sandwich baguette. It was fresh and crunchy and I enjoyed it greatly. I should have got two..

I had to get my newly acquired almond croissant fix after a disappointing one from another place during the week. Again these are great tasting and for $4.50 it'll be hard to not get one daily when it's a stones throw from work

Hate the coffee here. The JPS one on hay street is completely different. The coffee displays all the flavor. This one is just bitter. It's the grind or the water temp as both JPS use the same beans. My friend and I are struggling to drink this one. The other JSP on hay street is probably worth the walk

Stopped by for breakfast near the workplace on the recommendation of a colleague and it was indeed well recommended. A smart cafe with some superb options of light eatables and great tea and coffee. All served on proper china, in a great environment and with some warm service. Not much more you could ask for on a cold morning!
HotChocolat
Have had coffee a few times here. Coffee is nice and reasonable. I paid $3.50 for double espresso. Good barista and welcoming staff. Have not tried their desserts yet.

My favourite of all the Jean Pierre Sancho cafes in and around Perth. Its always a pleasure to step inside for lunch - very stylish European decor. Outdoors, pavement seating is provided.
We chose 2 baguette sandwiches - ham/cheese and roast beef/salad. Good quality ingredients but not the baguette I'm used to in French bakeries. The bread was dense and hard to chew through.

Love the Almond meal croissant. Coffee was good. Staff and service really average. But we do love to keep exploring in the hope of getting that exceptional breakfast, so maybe next time.
THE ILLUSIVE FEMME
No review necessary. This place is a dessert fans haven, the macarons are so scrumptious and melt in your mouth. Yum! I can't choose a favourite flavour but if I had to it's be the pistachio.

Lovely French cafe w great brunch menu.. Love their chai latte and mocha..love their coffee and many tend to come here to grab their morning coffee for work.

The worst macarones I ever had in my life.We came from New York and love to expirience French Patessierie in Perth.
COOKIE SHELLS WAS SEPARATE FROM THE COOKIE ITSELF AND TOO LITTLE FILLING. OLD AND UNTASTY.
I am sorry but this is not realy French Patessierie.

The chocolate croissant wasn't the best I've tried in Perth, but still, delicious. The decent sized chocolate eclair was really good, filled to the brim with good chocolate cream. A bit on the pricy side but the eclair was worth it. Wish I didn't have to share it with my husband!

Long queue. Miserable customer service waiting at the end of it. Expensive sweet stuff. I only came to use my Entertainment Book vouchers. Won't be back.

Really good macarons but service could improve. I phoned a day ahead and stated what flavours I wanted, amounts and what time I would collect. When I arrived, the waitress said there was no order and nothing had been prepared then proceeded to serve someone else. I had to grab her attention and told her the name of the waiter on the phone. She went to get the waiter who just said for me to choose whatever flavours were displayed. What a waste of time let alone parking.

This is an authentic French outfit that serves truly magnificent pastries. Coffee is ok. It is so authentically French that ordering in French seems to be almost expected. Its closure at 1600 is the only thing that is not authentically French. They use organic and, from memory, Fair Trade Coffee which is a total bonus.
Jtunnerc
Didn't like. If charging $6 for a caramel slice, atlesst make it a good one, not hard and old

Just love this place, can't get enough....fast happy service and always good..

Lovely people delicious food. Wonderful fast service frienly staff must try the sandwiches and coffee!!

Flat Croissants?. The croissants looked beautiful on the display, until they pressed toast the hell out of it (why???). Coffee was ok but serving food on plastic plates and cutleries for such a fancy looking place? Nope.
Clara
If having waiters displaying mild irritation at your presence is your thing them this place is for you. The food and coffee is nothing beyond the ordinary. The only thing which sets this place apart is the decor and even that isn't amazing. Adding French staff who apparently have better things to do than serve you does nothing to improve Perths reputation for fairly ordinary and expensive dining experiences.
Linda
Very unfriendly service, which is a shame as the food is quite nice.
Freya
Poor service. The staffs are not friendly at all. We've been force to sit outside in a raining day. Not because it's full inside. Just because the staff said it will be hard for her to serve. We are new to Perth, came so far from Sydney, I have to say any takeaway coffee in Sydney is better than this place.

Lovely spot for coffee and cake. I could see it would become hectic around lunch, but we popped in around three. Service was quick, coffee very good, and their cakes although a little expensive really tasty.

Have read the reviews about the terrible service and can only conclude these people have never been to France - they are simply being "au natural"

The coffee and food? Top dollar and worth paying the extra for - if it's good enough for Neil Perry, it's good enough for me

BEST almond croissant ever! I have sampled these delightful pastries in every corner of the world and these light, buttery, sweet almond pastries are divine. Good coffee and fine frenchie accent to boot, loveeeee!
Natasha Howe
Hmmmm. Ok so their macarons are divine, but they can be so rude and unhelpful. Hello it's just putting macarons in a box, I'm not asking for too much!
Emcy
Yum. Best quiche in Perth. I wish you could buy the salad dressing they put on the side salad. Macarons are a bit bland, but the rest of the pasteries look delicious (especially the red velvet cake!) YUM YUM YUM!
PDavidson
Earns its title of best bakery. Coffee is good, service is friendly and efficient. And the baked goods! yum...had the Red Velvet Cupcake (extra special treat inside) and the Lemon Tart. Only got one Lemon Tart for my husband, he said he wished they came as twins.
Jack
Expensive and poor service. Good bakery but I have found the St Georges shop to have poor service after going 4 times. Quite expensive pasteries too.
Vanessa Sutton
Fabulous coffee and sweet stuff. One of the girls serving, I think forgot we aren't in Paris in the summer as her attitude was extremely poor (when asked the cupcake flavour I was answered with "I don't know. It is sugarey".... Input snarl about here) but the other lady serving was lovely and the coffee and food will bring me back.
Jill Yeoh
It's a nice venue but the service is not friendly at all. You wouldn't expect to receive stares when you're giving smiles and when I went to the counter to ask for a napkin the girl didn't even want to look at me! And the cafe closes earlier than what they stated on their menu pamphlet.
Eileen
Great good, terrible service!. I keep coming back because the food is so good, but every time I am appalled by the service! I work across the road, so go fairly regularly. The Macarons are devine! Sandwiches and quiches are delicious! Service is so very slow, the blonde lady on the cash register is always slow and holding up a big queue. When something goes wrong they speak to each other in french and I am left standing there wondering whether I'm going to get my meal or not. I would definitely recommend going to the Hay Street store if possible. The food is equally as divine and the service is so much better.

Love the ham & emmental baguette! Great spot for lunch. Pâtisserie selection not as extensive as on Hay Street. Friendly service in convenient location.
FoodieKitten
This French cafe has become one of my lunch options since it's opening in the cbd! I usually opt for their baguette for lunch and often request it to be lightly toasted as I prefer my sandwich to be slightly warm! The bread is totally to die for with the crusty outside n soft interior texture! My personal fav are the tuna baguette & chicken, avocado baguette. There are not many cafes that use good quality bread but you definitely can trust them if you are craving a good roll for lunch! I would highly recommended this place.

Macarons to die for. I haven't ordered many things from their menu but their chocolate macarons are just to die for.

If I could live on their range of macarons I'd be one happy girl.
Naila
Lovely baguettes. We organised the $15 'formula' (a baguette, fizzy drink and medium sized tart) for our work Christmas picnic at the zoo. The baguettes were delicious - not soft, fairly chewy and very fragrant like the French do it. The tarts were delicious, I had the strawberry and custard one as well as the rich chocolate one. Not too sweet either. Their vanilla macarons also have a beautiful consistency and great contrast of mousse centre and chewy outer 'bun'. Everyone seemed fairly pleased with the lunch.

I don't think so..... I work on the Terrace and have now been here a few times, hoping to be impressed, but its the same average coffee, unhelpful staff and fairly flat tasting pastries.

If I have a meeting here now, I rarely order anything. Apart from the location, not sure what this really has going for it. I may need to try the Hay Street store instead.....
Natasha
Wow wow wow ! just as delicious as the one in hay street, beautiful food and service I loved it.
Aimee
Good coffee and sexy French accents. Not so happy that this place got me addicted to delicious macarons!!!! So yummy.
Mr Fussy
Good. Coffee is good and so too the croissants. The roast beef rolls are a bit stingy with the roast beef but the bread is nice.
Pris
Great!. They've got great coffee, hot/cold chocs, macarons and cakes! Staff are friendly and willing to explain how pastries are made, what macarons fillings there are etc. Lemon macaron is my personal favourite here - its got a sharp tangy kick to it.
Pfc
French pastries done by the french!. Go for the sweets and pastries - not the savoury rolls - as these are amazing and authentically made following recipes and techiniques direct from France.

A lovely venue too for a quick coffee to read the paper or a catchup & gossip with a friend...

Offers catering too so convince your office to avoid dodgy Croissant Express and give this a shot!!

I had a plain croissant which was a decent size & didn’t make me feel too greasy afterwards and a coffee ($6 special). I normally order lattes but every time I’ve ordered them at Jean Pierre they’ve been too weak
Shaun
Certainly worth a try if you love pastries. Really yum! The chocolate eclair is chocolate heaven. I'm not a macaroon fan yet the varieties served here are excellent.

After my friend Dave came back from Bulgaria, I caught up with him over coffee to hear all about it. I always wanted to try Jean Pierre Sancho in the city since Maru told me that their bread was great, but either she forgot to mention that everything else was not great, or that I chose to ignore it, I'm not sure. My hot chocolate was just so-so, it wasn't as thick as I'd like it to be, not as dark, not as chocolatey. Dave, though, liked his coffee, a 7 out of 10, he said. His tart was also good, he said. Blueberry almond tart - $7.50 Capuccino - $4 My macarons, on the other hand, fell flat on their bums. For the life of me, I couldn't taste the distinct flavours between the macarons. When I had ladurée macarons , each macaron flavour was pronounced, chocolate tasted like chocolate, apple tasted like apple, vanilla tasted like vanilla. Let's not go as far as Paris, the
