I really enjoy every visit to Big Brekky. The meal sizes are excellent value 4 money, service is great.
No complaints at all.
Would recommend the meal by the same name and the coffee is pretty good as well
The Big Brekky was Okay, but not the best. The coffee was tasteful although nothing special. I do although think the general atmosphere of this cafe is very nice and helps uplift its flaws. Again, its great but not the best.
I love this place, awesome food, awesome coffee and awesome service! This is my first choice for a lazy weekend breakfast, can't wait to go back.
A friendly cafe with an eccentric yet friendly interior and feel. Families love to congregate at the outdoor tables where they is some grass and toys to keep little ones occupied. Locals come for the huge breakfasts with a focus on egg dishes and the relaxed vibe.
Big Brekky takes up a corner position on busy Stanmore road. The real appeal for families is the grassy area out the back which has a few toys and tables. They are also just near the playground at Maundrell Park, so it is great for takeaway on the run too. Big Brekky are known for their large portion sizes and breakfast menu. They certainly live up to their name with the focus of the breakfast menu being eggs, eggs, and more eggs! The ‘Big Brekky’ comes with the lot for $18 or go for something more refined and exotic such as ‘Qeuf en cocotte eggs’ with spinach, mushrooms, fetta, capsicum, eggplant & tomato ($15).

I feel like I've come full circle as my first ever food post was about Big Brekky. Monsieur Poisson and I were most enamoured with this little café after our visit and he was rather jealous that I was, on this occasion, dining there again with Mistress an
I am hesitant to promote it further and risk never being able to eat there!
Corned beef hash cakes. Completely YUM!
Been meaning to come here for years and I can't believe it took me this long. Just had the best breakfast I've had in ages. Shared an amazing veggie omelette with potato, mushroom and spinach plus the amazing mustard scrambled eggs with haloumi instead of bacon. The serves are huge and everything is really well done. Loved it.
Solid big brekky at Big Brekky. Dropped in solo on Father's Day just before most of the family units turned up. Big Brekky has a website and the opening hours are actually earlier than that published. Was the quickest cooked big breakfast I have ever had so was a little suspicious but it was piping hot and everything was good especially with a little hollandaise. Service was prompt and food was acceptable so no complaints.
Perfect coffee. Good service. Loved the baked eggs, only complaint is that the toast wasn't toasted enough (it was more like bread) He had the spicy Fetta on sourdough with eggs. He said it was yummy but way too much Fetta. It was nice but because it's not my local I won't go out of my way to eat here.
Food was beautiful with a homely touch to it. Service was great and super friendly wait staff.
Amazing and friendly service, I'd go back again the next time I'm in Sydney almost just because of the staff! Food is also very important so ... Good coffee, fresh juice, generous breakfast meals. My omelette was huge and filled with so many delicious items. I was surprised that it came with two pieces of bread- generally I haven't been offered bread with my omelettes. Hubby had the corn fritters and poached eggs. Very happy with them. Thumbs up!
Good service, can be slow but worth the wait. Most amazing pancakes, especially the baci choc ones and spiced apple. Good coffee too!
Best for big brekky!. Love the big brekky here - thinly sliced layered potatoes with garlic & herbs, salty bacon, sonoma bread, eggs, and oven dried baby vine tomatoes, delicious relish, mushrooms... best big brekky! Coffees excellent also (campos). I also like the baked eggs (with salmon, dill, creme fraiche). French toast if you *love* really sweet rich heavy caramel pecan and banana. Price is good for taste and serving sizes. Meal + drink usually $20-$25pp. Yes it can be a wait (surprise surprise, Sydney), just come earlier or later to avoid peak hour brekky/brunch demand (duh?!).
Campos coffee done well.. Recently had breakfast and a coffee (actually two) to die for. Friendly staff, loved Kate one of the baristas. What a lovely personality and makes the best coffee. Sunny, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Don't get picky about the big brekky label just enjoy it!
Delicious food...when it arrives. Great food and a creative menu with new items to tempt every time you visit. The place has a great vibe and is teaming on weekends. Unfortunately, it can take a while to get the food....35 minute wait is just too long. Hubby was gnoring off his knuckles
Very popular breakfast cafe. The wait for the food was well worth it. The big breakfast really lives up to the name! Staff are nice, but... They are a bit hopeless with ordering. All and all a very good feed and coffee was rich and delicious. Reccommened for a lazy Sunday afternoon.
This long standing successful family orientated cafe has recently changed hands and the formula remains the same with super coffee and friendly staff, food quality can be a little hit and miss during the week though.
I love their coffee. Nice seating outside, almost no waiting for the morning coffee, the other one star is just for the chocolate croissant, that was much of chocolate for myself, but others may love it. The breakfast menus is very nice with good prices.
Friendly young team, great food and good portions.
Good brekkie food, decent price. Good service. Poached egg was cooked a bit too much.
Update: I tried the salmon, avo, egg, spinach, holondaise sauce in a wrap and had to get it 2 more times in a row it was so good! $10 with a coffee.
I often come here for the delicious bacon & egg roll + coffee deal for $10. The serving size is very generous. The coffee is great. The staff are very friendly.
