Food was tasty👍the service is normal but not friendly despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty but we get a table at the end of the hall next to the toilet👎😡there was a dirty knife on the table, we asked for a change, the menu was splattered with curry👎🤨please pay attention to details
I can only go on my experience… it was clean with white walls .. The service was quick n efficient , we only ordered one meal with rice n two Nann bread There was enough for two ppl Nice big portions , when it arrived I didn’t think they’d be enough but what an illusion Ordered the vinderloo … very
4 of us went for a mother days dinner, 2 people ordered the banquet which everything was fine with. My partner and I ordered a simple korma chicken , the chicken was dry, absolutely no taste too the sauce and we had too wait for an hour to receive the korma meals. The banquet came 20 minutes before
Ordered a medium butter chicken, my understanding of medium was a chilli warmth throughout the dish. It means something different at this restaurant, this is loaded with chilli.
The food at this place is authentic and really delicious. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. My partner and I shared a traditional Indian curry and chicken tikka with delicately flaoured white rice. The portion sizes were not huge but certainly ample. We went there on a Thursday lunchtime. Sadly
Make sure if you order through a delivery partner (door dash; uber eats etc) that you use a unique name per order to eliminate chance of error (i.e don’t use John etc) India Mahal do not govern their order release properly. I received an incorrect order, they took no responsibility for it at all and
I made a phone order of two items to take away, onion bhaji and eggplant masala. the order was ready when I arrived. They were both good. No complaints.
Have eaten here for about 10 years. And it’s always been good. Tonight got mains and sides for four. We all found fault with our choices. The tandoori lamb cutlets had not seen a a tandoori oven. No char, no rendered crispy fat, tough. Fish curry was super oily and had a huge chunk of uncooked onion
