Review The Shed Woden - Phillip

Ate there with my family today. Never coming back again. Here is why: Food - took 20 -30 minutes for a big breakfast to come out. I'm fine with that. But, there was a massive grease puddle at the bottom of the plate. Food tasted off too. Drinks - ordered a chai latte with lactose free milk - it was not lactose free. Also nearly 50% of the drink was foam? Such a joke. Service - it was okay initially when placing an order, the young lady was so pleasant and happy to answer questions. But once we had sat down and we're waiting for food all we got was filthy looks from some of the workers. I was polite the entire time to them. I'd recommend someone going to cafe cherry beans instead just downstairs.

Went there for breakfast this morning and waited an hour after ordering before having to leave to head to another appointment. Saw other customers leaving half eaten breakfasts on their tables when leaving with disappointed looks on their faces. 1 star given as the staff were polite and helpful with my refund. In future I would suggest making customers aware if there is a delay in food service so they don’t waste an hour of their day waiting before leaving.

Ordered through Uber eats. Was meant to be toast and eggs with a salad. Only got the salad. Spent $33 on a salad and coffee. And no utensils as requested so I couldn't eat the salad anyway.

I will give 5 stars if only their opening hour as consistent with their advertising hours it said open late friday but actually not. I tried the chicken schnitzel and dirty chai for breakfast,it was great overall. The dirty chai a nice variety from ordinary coffee. The schnitzel for $15.90 is good value,it come with salad n one of the best chips I ever tried. The service is great eventho their barista came a bit late which made the coffee order need to wait, but the rest of staff apologize many times for the inconvenient. The place is clean n the unique decor made nice ambient. Highly recommend for those chips n dirty chai😊

I have not been to Woden for a while and came across the Shed. We sat down for breakfast and I have to say it was really good. Friendly Staff and the service was pretty quick after ordering. We got there early, but it's does get busy pretty quickly. The Coffee is also really good.. Highly recommended.

I visited on a busy Sunday morning. While the service was prompt, my meal seemed to be thrown together in a rush - over-cooked, rubbery eggs; cold vegetables & last-minute toast thrown on top! The cafe is in the middle of a busy mall: maybe good for a quick coffee while shopping, but not really suitable for a relaxing brunch.

Love this spot. A simple but great menu with accommodating staff for all your dietary requirements. Sit down coffee is great as is the service. It's refreshing to go to a cafe that doesn't have music blasting.

While driving around the Island, we stumbled across The Shed. Talk about the best find on the island. We stopped for coffee but after spying their delicious looking food, we decided to try the GF Wagu beef pie (scrumptious) and the Cornish pastie, which was the most authentic pastie we've ever tasted. The thick tomato relish supplied was moorish in the extreme. We then had the mini sticky date pudding... crikey.. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven!! The coffee was one of the best I've ever had.. and certainly the best on the Island! If you visit Phillip Island, don't leave without a visit to The Shed. You wont be able to resist sampling something from their fabulous fresh food range, or their stunning produce or products. Excellent value, great service and trying to resist a purchase would be futile! 6 stars!!

Warm and friendly, great coffee and good food. They've really developed a great atmosphere, with nice wines and you can select very good meat at the Phillip Island Produce Butchery, next door. We feel that The Shed has brought a touch of The Continent to our Island. We're impressed! Honey & Peter

Lovely setting, very rustic. Enjoyed the coffee & yo-yo! Butcher next door has great meat too...a little bit more expensive but worth it!!

We absolutely loved our lunch at this gorgeous little cafe. The quality of the food was excellent and rediculously cheap. Our kids loved the big pig wandering around the paddock. They also have a selection of quality local produce and bread, designed to woo fussy customers like us!

I love The Shed. It's a little quirky with a dash of rustic chic Coffe was good and the toasted sandwich was just as good🖒

Great food and vibe - however scores low on my enviro index as only serves coffee in disposable cups (which contrary to popular beief are not recyclable) and most of their shelved product comes from far flung places like Italy (massive food miles = fuel = emissions).
