Review Vaby's Restaurant - Picton

Ok... Ze best burger I ve had since I moved to Australia 4 years ago and my meat was rare as I asked ! Very tasty ! Generous ! Home made from scratch. Of course I asked to have this baby without beet ! Seriously it was delicious. My wife had a great risotto with leek chips on top.. Our waitress from Poland was so lovely with her Hollywood smile ;) We decided this place will be from now on our stop over for lunch when we drive through Picton. Merci.

Great venue, friendly staff very accomadating, great atmosphere Thank you Dom and staff for a great lunch for the 34 of us. We will be back.

The food was amazing! The strawberry margarita with vodka was perfect. The last star they didn't get was for putting us in a corner. We felt invisible and had to search for service. The ladies were amazing though. Will definitely go again.

Beautiful food, great service, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Still one of my all time favourite places to eat. Only downside is the travel time from Penrith, but always worth the trip. My favourites would have to be the Sizzling Garlic Prawns, Potato Skins and Chicken strips. The garlic pizza's are also really good :) Highly Recommended

Service was friendly and fast even though it was full on the night we went. Food was average but reasonable value. burger pattie was overcooked. Chip serving was small relative to other places we've had burger and chips.

Our first time here and on Valentine's Day for lunch. They had a set menu with a great selection of dishes. Wonderful intimate atmosphere with a stone fireplace and soft lighting. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Everyone was very accommodating and asking if everything was ok. I can't not fault considering it was a very busy day for them!

Great food. Service was quick and friendly. We had the nachos and the kids loved them. We had a lovely evening here.

My partner, our baby and myself are regulars at Vabys and we Love it there! There is a huge range of unbelievable food (you can have practically anything you like) and the staff are always friendly and amazing to us � We highly recommend Vabys to anyone! 10/10

I loved the sandstone building but wasnt too taken on the food. The 3 cheese pizza was yum, the pork belly bites were just deep fried pieces of pork. The chicken parmy was ok but the pulled pork nachos looked really dry. I was there to have a catch up with a friend and this was in the middle of us so we enjoyed ourselves but I wont be rushing back..sorry!

I have been lucky enough to be invited to attend two weddings here recently. I cannot fault this venue. Everything was fabulous! The staff are very friendly and more than happy to assist anyone in any way possible. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend Vaby's to everyone and will definitely be back soon!

I had my husbands surprise 50th birthday with friends but combined it with the cold chisel tribute show it was fantastic ! Dominick, Caitlin and staff were wonderful food and service was excellent everyone had the best night Thankyou again 😊

Good hearty food but not a polished experience. Staff not on point although they were very nice. Confused with the sandstone walls and metal ceilings look? White tablecloths, comfortable chairs and some staff team training could dramatically enhance this eatery. Very important to get deserts right as they were not the best. Entree and main was nice.

My fiancé & I had our engagement party here and it was absolutely amazing, I can not fault a thing. From table preparation, to the constant great service from the staff & also the food. Would also like to do a big thank you to Dom for all the help along the way to get exactly what we wanted.

Recently had my daughters wedding reception here and the service was 100 per cent our waiter Kyle was fantastic they made the night unforgettable food was great everyone enjoyed the venue thank you to everyone

The environment is cosy but with Food i was not that impreased. The mushroom sauce was not as expected. Eventhough steak was well prepared. Dont put prawns with sause on top of steak. Also grill prawns would be much better.

I loved the food staff are friendly nice place for families to have a great time

Service was excellent Garlic 3 cheese pizza bread excellent Main meal was good Black Forest cake for dessert was fantastic No loud music which was nice so we could speak with each other and not yell Staff very friendly

Vaby's is now my favourite place to go. Great food. Lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere. Will be recommending to everyone. 👍🏼

We googled the restaurant to see what was close they came up so decided to give it a go can’t complain food was good and cocktail was good too but only in a little martini glass but overall will be back to try again

Absolutely Amazing. Held my wedding there a week ago and couldn't have asked for better service and a better venue. Dom and his team did an amazing job and everything went off without any issues. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a reception venue have a look at Vabys in Picton.
