We are more than happy that we had our son’s 1st Birthday Party here. It turned out to be a memorable and wonderful experience for us. With lots of help from Shiv, the restaurant manager, who was very cooperative from day 1 made sure everything went flawless. He took care, the event went smoothly making us feel relaxed. The food and the venue was amazing, all our guests loved it. The staff attended to all our guests needs promptly. The service was carried out without any chaos and everything was so organised. We would definitely recommend this place without a doubt.
Awesome food this place never dissappoints. My 8 year olds couldnt get enough either. We all had a wonderful night
Great food and service. Recommended for best dal makhani and chicken tikka masala
Amazing dinner...great service...awesome goat!! Great night and we left with food for breakfast!!
Food is very delicious and very good customer service.
I recommend a tissue paper box should be placed on every table.
Food was delicious serve was great. Food slightly dearer than other Indian restaurants but worth it
My husband and I love this restaurant, actually it is the only Indian restaurant that we like, after trying couple of them in different parts of Melbourne, this is the only one we kept coming back. Simply delicious!!! & Good customer service
Great customer service and good food at a very reasonable price. Will come back for sure.
A regular favourite restaurant. Always great food👌
Love visiting Priya, such friendly staff and fantastic Indian food. Although a little pricy and smaller servings than anticipated, still delicious and would visit again.
Consistently good food, great for takeaway and dining in. It's our favourite place for Indian food in the area.
Came with a bunch of colleagues for dinner, the service was good and food was actually pretty delicious 😊 the garlic naan and curries were delightful and everyone was happy, highly recommend 👌🏻
Let’s me start with the ambience spacious nice and elegant. Main course portion was really good but entree especially lamp champ quantity was ok , veg manchurian . Taste of chicken tikka and lamp punjabi curry was too good . Veg manchurian was yummy as well do try . I wish lamp champ would have been more cooked . Tried prawns malai snack was okay less quantity.
Taste 3/5
Ambience 5/5
Quantity 3/5
Service 5/5
Loved all the food here! We had chicken tikka masala and the beef korma along with garlic naan and rice. Servings were decent and the service was great too
We ordered 6 dishes of takeaway food around 6pm on Friday afternoon at most heaviest rainfall ever. They have side carparking spot but both were taken. It'll be nice to have 5 mIn parking spot for takeaway customers without parking across 3 blcks away.
I ordered chicken biryani, mushroom fried rice, prawn curry, goat curry, eggplant curry and lentils curry.
Only mushroom fried rice and lentils curry were non spicy and others were chilli spicy.
They all tasty and great to share with 7 of us.
I will eat in next time if I visit near by on sunny day 🌞
Great Indian food...amazing desserts... specially the paan ice cream...have tried so many curries here they all taste great... service is great...treated my friends here for dinner they all loved it
Food is always amazing. We love the butter chicken, Rojan josh and korma. Staff are very friendly, super attentive and service is quick. Meals are reasonably priced also.
I always say I am going to take a photo but the food is always too good I just have to tuck in! A regular pitstop for me and so far my favourite Indian restaurant. There's not much to fault, the food is consistently good, flavoursome, I'm always left full, I always aim to order something new because it always turns out great.
Have only ever had take away, but the flavours are consistently great. The spices are good, I would personally like the curries a bit more spicier but it’s at a perfect level for my partner who doesn’t really take heat. Try the kormas and paneers for some none typical curry choices.
Great food and service! I like the consistency of the food we've experienced over the years . Please try and start home delivery. Thank you.
Priya is at a nice location at point cook. The food is good. We had the butter chicken indian style. It was delicious. The chicken tikka masala is average iv had, lacked alot of flavours. The garlic naan is good.
I have been to Priya many times over the past few years and unlike a lot of the other restaurants and take away places on Main St, they get it right every time, take away or dine in. Highly recommend.
One of the best Indian restaurants for North Indian delicacies. Loved their Cheese naan with dhal makhaki. Also the carrot halwa was too good and not too sweet. Very friendly staff
Food with lots of flavour
Soothing music
Pleasant ambience
Overall : fantastic experience. Will go back again.
I had another big dinner with about 10 people at Priyas and was not disappointed. Nice ambience, good service and lovely food! The best part about the place is they try and cater for any changes you request. Would highly recommend for small and big groups as well as take away!
Went here with family yesterday afternoon and it was lovely. The curry was excellent and tasty as well. The rice was delicious and also the mango lassi was amazing! The price is a bit pricy for what is given but other than that its delicious~
Friendly service and delicious food.
If you plan on eating here at peak times a reservation would be required for larger groups as Priya is quite a popular restaurant. They have a big variety of dishes on their menu and a fantastic selection of vegetarian mains. I've been very happy with everything my partner and I have eaten here and it is our go-to Indian restaurant in Point Cook.
My girlfriend and I had a fantastic meal at Priya. Butter Chicken was to die for and the garlic naan was the best I've ever had. Will definitely be back.
Best India restaurant experience I've had so far! The service was quick and they reserved a nice table away from then noisy areas as requested. The curries were all so full of flavour and actually all tasted different from each other (unlike some places I've been to where they use the same base for most of their curries)! The naan bread was soft and a tad crispy with a good spread of garlic, the raita was actually great too and they actually give you more than just a cup of yoghurt 😂 the entrees were delicious, we had the masala pappadum, tandoori garlic mushroom and mix veg pakoda, the mushrooms were so juicy! It's BYO so it's great being able to bring your own wine, have great company with delicious food! Will be back again!
We have been going to Priya since we moved to point cook . The service is fantastic and food is better than all the Indian restaurant in the area.
My downside was last week when I excitedly ordered takeaway . I ordered chicken 65 and paneer kadhai. Surprisingly, when I went home and opened the box there was thin strips of maybe 8 pieces of chicken . I'm a big fan of chicken 65 and I have got few fav places to get in which priya is one of them but the serving made me disappointed . Compared to price tag the portion is very less .
Kadhai paneer base which is onion curry base smelled off ( you could smell the strong off onion). I just washed the curry paste and had to eat only the paneer .
Sorry priya but I would like you to work
On the portion size and freshness of the curries of you want to keep the regulars.
Thank you
Few years ago the standard was poor. Now it is really nice food. Great service. Some of the best Indian food. We go there a lot. I recommend this place to others.
Our family really enjoy Priya's. They have a really good selection of Indian cuisines. Their portion is quite a lot and yet still very tasty. Just watch out for hot/spicy food, ask to have less spicy if you can't handle chilies.
Our regular takeaway place.
They maintain good quality and it is consistent.
I tried almost all the items in their menu and never disappointed .
Came here for dinner by myself as my partner who doesn't like Indian food was out for the night. Really glad I did. I ordered the vegetable pakora, garlic naan, saffron rice and butter chicken. I also had a house white which went down a treat. The butter chicken had lovely tender pieces of chicken through and was beautiful and not too spicy. I took my leftovers home for lunch today. I will be trying to convince my partner to come with me next time.
Good food!! And amazing ambience. I would recommend tandoori paneer tikka for veg staters to everyone. Dal tadka and jeera rice were also very good😬
When we arrived at this place we were greeted by a waitress complaining about the weather and how we should not believed the food picture in the menu. It was quite fun. He suggested lamb tika masala with garlic naan, of which we ordered. They were superb and very spicy even at medium hot. Another fish that we ordered was chicken briyani which was quite ok as it could balance out the spiciness of the lamb tika. We also ordered mango lasi which was as awesome as expected (very sweet) .
Quick and efficient service. Beautiful decor. Delicious food. A place suitable for a family dinner, a date night or hangout with friends. The paneer masala was on point! Totally loved the food experience. 👌

This Indian restaurant delivery on so many levels. The menu has a hugh selection to choose from, my favorite Goat ! The price is very reasonable in fact I think it's cheap considering the choice you have to choose from. The service is great, the restaurant is well decked out and I cannot find any thing to pick on ! ........ See you there...... the Bitch.
Simple and tasty food with great service and ambiance is what Priya offers.
We went for dinner and the restaurant was almost full which was a bit surprising for a Monday night.Their rose lassi is something worth trying and has great flavors.
We have been coming here regularly as a family on special occasions, and it has been fantastic ever time. Super friendly service and delicious authentic flavoursome food. Excellent prices as well. Just shows that you don't need to go into the CBD to experience great food!
Food was good and banquet 1 is very filling. Only negative was that the waiter was a bit enthusiastic and was clearing up when my husband hadn't finished eating. The waiter asked him if he still wanted the rice etc., rather than just coming back when he was done. I think that's a bit rude. Our wine glasses were also removed and 1 had some wine in it. I had put the wine bucket on the floor to make more room, but we couldn't have any more wine after that as we had no glasses!
A pretty good place. You could smell the food down the street and it didn't disappoint. The service has patches of poor and brilliance , just not consistent. The food though was sensational, great flavors, and perfect taste and priced really well. 7 people with drinks $250. Pretty good.
Priya is such a good indian restaurant, I only rediscovered it a few weeks ago after not having been there for years! I'm so glad that I did! You know the foods good when it's 11:40 and you're waiting anxiously for it to hit 12 so you can order a meal to be delivered to you! I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO ORDER BECAUSE THE FOOD IS SO GOOD
Alright, time for review on priya.
I guess one of the best after Aangan indian restaurant. Food ...service ....taste....location, not sure if i can comment anything negative or things i can pick. Great job guys, keep it up and wish to have the same calibre till the earth exist.
Most favourite dish: Goat curry
Priya is by far the best Indian restaurant in the west!!The food is always fresh and the ambience is just perfect for a nice dinner! I have been here numerous times...highly recommended!
Yummy food, friendly staff & nice ambience.... We had nans & the staff helped us finding the good accompanying dishes. We'll definitely come back
Great Indian taste away from India. The ambience is very nice, it feels like you're in India. It's far from the city but is good for the Indians living in Point Cook and other suburbs.
Good service and the food is yummy!!!!!!, we had the banquet it was such a good feed, highly recommend you try this place if you are near by🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Yummy yummy yummy!! Very delicious food and a very big restaurant. It's always busy each time I come and I understand why, so be sure to make a table booking.
The food here is delicious, and the staff are polite and attentive. My only qualm is that they didn't allow us to take home the rest of our banquet as it seemed like a waste.
Ordered chicken korma and butter chicken. Asked them to put the heat at the maximum as i like spicy food. So the food turned out to my liking. My favourite restaurant in point cook.
Took my parents to this place and the overall experience is pretty good. It's very quiet during lunch time on weekdays. It's bit pricey, but no complaints to the service or food itself.
Great place for Indian food and feasting. Known to have a reputation for one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne.Top notch service by staff specially manager Shiv's service. He always greet us with smile and does warm welcome. Food is excellent i never disappointed with food. Love to have butter chicken and lamb rogan josh. Nice ambience with pleasant music. Love to go there again and again
Not bad food here not exelent but good food more western style so not so hot
If you like real good Indian aangan in Tottenham near west Footscray is the go but Priya is still good
Had dinner here last night and loved it. Great service and delicious food. We had a butter chicken which was yummy and not too sweet, and a spicy lamb red curry type dish. Vegetable samosas were delicious to start with too. Will definitely be back, and we have definitely found our Indian takeaway restaurant :)
A restaurant suited for any occasion, whether a night in for takeaway, casual dining or special occasion like a birthday dinner. Food's decent, waiters were friendly. The owner organised a special "happy birthday" song for the birthday girl! The service was consistent, very professional.
Very good Indian. Great service & ambiance . A+ will be back
Surprise find in Point Cook. Great food, good ambience
This place has not made a bad mistake yet i have got take away there about 10 times its not as good as aangan but im still happy with the food . Butter chicken and breads are nice garlic is a lil bit weird but good . I would deff recomend take away :)
Have been dining here regularly for the last couple of years. Tasty food but portions too small! Staff are friendly and always remember our order. Best to go on quiet nights as service much slower on busy nights. Naan bread sometimes burnt but staff happy to replace it on request. Delicious Mango Lassi! Will definitely continue to dine here on special occasions!
Dined here tonight with work colleagues, it was fantastic, food was beautiful and fresh, service could have been a bit better though, will def be coming back!

Best indian food in Melbourne!. Excellent food and great service!
Made our Event Memorable. We organized my brother's wedding reception at Priya's. The Service was outstanding, with friendly tips and advice given in advance. They organized high chairs for all the little ones, with every request the answer we got was "Yes!!! we can organize that"... which made organizing the event stress free!!!! On the day the food was fantastic!!! with all our 60 guests very pleased with the food and the service. The ambiance is fantastic and was great for all the photographs. Thank you for making it an amazing and memorable event...... without the stress. I highly recommend this place.
READ WHY PRIYA is Our fave Indian dining place EVER!. Funny thing, I have been coming here every week for 4 years and have never reviewed, because... well I don't know why exactly.. It sort of just snuck it's way into our weekly schedule and I never figure to write a review.., Thought I already had. After chatting with the owner at our table tonight after a lengthy discussion about local business, I thought when I get home better check I have reviewed them, and so it turns out, I hadn't.
Will keep this short and sweet.

Real example of good customer service
Haven't seen anywhere
Great combination of good customer service and great food... The manager knows how to take care and maintain his customers ......
Can't say much... Better visit there ....
I have to say that given the chance I would have eaten here a long time ago. We steered away from this restaurant based on the average ratings on Urbanspoon but don't let it stop you from giving this restaurant a shot. Being from Delhi India, I would like to think I know my north Indian curries and they did not disappoint. And for all you Paan lovers, you have got to try the paan ice cream. Just heavenly :)
Nice decor & friendly staff. We ordered Tandori chicken, naan, palek paneer & a fish curry (no. 23). Spice level is reduced for its predominantly Aussie customers but taste is still great. Even my 5 year old daughter can take the spice level. We had the masala chai to finish off the dinner and its rather true to its Indian roots. It's the boiled type with special spices. Will go again if I want a decent clean restaurant with great food.
