I've been to Cocochine more than a dozen times and I have never had a bad experience. Saturday evening we went and had a couple of entrees and went for the peppered lamb cutlets as a main course. Every thing we had was excellent. The service was perfect.
I would recommend this restaurant.
Food and service was great even though it was a busy night. Staff was friendly and worked as quick as they could. Food came out in a timely manner, well presented and exceeded me and my partner’s expectations. Would highly recommend for Chinese cuisine if you’re in the area!
We came here last night for dinner, the restaurant was busy though they were able to see the two of us straight away. The staff were all very friendly when taking our orders. We ordered prawn crackers, fried rice, lemon chicken & Mongolian beef. All our dishes were delicious & exactly what we were after considering neither of us had had Chinese food in many years. The bill was a little on the expensive side when we compare it to our local Thai restaurant, but would happily go back for convenience & great food.
First time and being a picky eater naturally I was nervous. However the Black Bean Beef and fried rice were amazing! As a big eater I was well and truly satisfied afterwards, and the table service was exceptional. I look forward to returning :)
Visited with a group of six others for dinner, and ended up having Banquet A. The cost was reasonable, and the food is amazing. Great flavours, and service was really fast. The wait staff looked after our table very well; we weren't waiting for food at any point which is great for a meal with five courses!. My only issue was that our table was close to the door and being a cold night there was a cold breeze that hit us every time the door was opened. Other than that a really pleasant night. Highly recommended you check it out!
Every time we visited Cocochine, their food never fail us. One of our favourites is fried beef stripes, chewy and sweet it's great to enjoy with their fried rice and jasmine tea. Top friendly service too.
If you don't feel like driving to the city and want to have a quiet and nice modern Asian meal in Point Cook this is the joint for you! Awesome Basil Chilli Chicken and Mind blowing Special fried rice! We have visited this place numerous times...and will keep doing it!😊👍
Food was absolutely delicious! Incredible service, and reasonable pricing. We honestly could not have asked for a better dining experience! 😄
Always a pleasure eating here...even though it is a little pricier than others it is still great quality, taste & worth the extra $$ the staff are friendly & service is usually quick good and quick even when they are busy...highly recommended for a nice Asian food night out...never has a dish disappointed
We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, 3 Flavoured Fish Fillets and Mapo Tofu 4.5
Customer service was great 5/5
We brought along a birthday cake and a waiter offered to put in in the fridge. After finishing our meals, a waitress came and asked us if we wanted her to put the candles on and light them up in the kitchen. They also brought us small plates along with a knife and forks for us to enjoy the birthday cake. They even offered to cut the cake for us.
I reckon it was pretty packed at night (as I went there on friday night--not really sure about weekdays), therefore I recommend you guys to make a reservation beforehand :)
I really recommend you try this place out. Their beef dishes are always on point and I really enjoy their seafood dishes. The soft shell crab is fantastic.
It's great to have this restaurant in this suburb as it's slim pickings at the moment. Food is authentic and service is good. Only wish the menu options are a bit broader.
Love love love this restaurant . Been going here for the past 8 years and they have never failed. Excellent service. Excellent food . The Peking duck , lamb pandang, agadeshi tofu , coco chine fried rice are some of the excellent dishes available here !
Tasty and classy Asian food. Slightly more expensive than average, but also a higher standard of food. We had the Buddha hotpot and green curry.
My dad goes here religiously, and every now and then we'll join for a family outing. He swears by the food & service, and has been coming here most weekends for over 4 years. They treat him as a bit of a VIP so whenever I've been here, the service for our table is exceptional (they remember the food, drinks, have a laugh etc). We always choose the Yum Cha lunch and have never been disappointed, although the restaurant needs a bit more atmosphere for my liking. BBQ Pork with plum sauce & the shark fin dumplings were the pick of the bunch for mine!
Great bento boxes for lunch . Friendly staff . Duck rolls for dinner are a family favourite , the sweet and sour pork and massiman beef with chillies are excellent too .
Good mix of Asian food .
Went for lunch for Mothers Day and all 4 of us thought the food was really nice. From the steamed prawn dumplings to the Tamarind Prawns and banana fritters with ice cream & coffee, it was all yummy! Good service, not cheap - also as its licensed, but worth the money!
Nice Chinese ambiance but very quiet restaurant. We went there for lunch and found the lunch price was reasonable. The food was yummy. Order the bento box with lemon chicken. Crispy battered chicken with not over sour lemon juice. The fried rice was great with full of wok fragment. Combination crispy noodle was awesome. Nice portion, well fried crispy noodles with lots of ingredient. The only little concern for me was the oyster sauce of the noodle was slightly too salty. Need to come back again next time to try their dinner. Dinner menu looks great.
This was fantastic; chicken skewers do tender with delicious spices, yummy fried dumplings that were light as and the mains were super nice too. Def going back
Took husband back 17th Mar bc it was so good. Still great but wish I could have taken leftovers home 😊
It may not be for vegetarians but otherwise extremely nice food and good service
Fantastic dining experience. Attended dinner here with my family last night all the way from Richmond. We are regular diners in Richmond, arguably the mecca of vietnamese/chinese cuisine. I can comfortably say that last nights dinner was fantastic and well worth the travel away from the city. I am unsure of the previous reviewer's experience of last night below. The restaurant were clearly short staffed for a Saturday night, but I think the staff did very well and food was, at the end of the day delicious! Yes we had to wait a little longer but it was damn worth it!!
Must Try it!!. Love Cocochine... Great food and Great service.
Have been here a few times and have never disappointed us.
Fantastic food, great serving sizes, lovely service and a great menu to choose from. Authentic and fresh :)
Will be back for sure. A lot better than a 76% rating suggests.
Food was sensational top end price wise but well worth it
Crispy beef boring name less than boring dish highly recommend that one
Try the chicken laksa. Absolutely delicious!! The chicken is always cooked to perfection and just the right amount of spice! YUM!
Love it!. If people want somewhere to eat in Point Cook, I recommend here. Good food, good service and good prices.
I like that it's an Asian cuisine restaurant not just one country. It's kid friendly without catering to them. (we first found this place before we had kids)
We have been many times and only once have come across a dish that lacked flavour.
I've been to this restaurant quite a few times and everytime it has been great. Great food and service. The presentation of the food is also nice. I'll be back!
Great Food. Always a great place to eat in Point Cook. Service is excellent
Good Takeaway. The food is good basic Chinese. Pricey for the overall quality in the resturant. Prefer to stick to takeaways for a quick dinner.
Quality Chinese Cuisine. My friend and I dined here last night. We were greeted by a friendly waiter who seated us to our table of choice. Ordered fried rice, black bean beef, salt and pepper calamari and Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce which all came out within 5 minutes! Everything tasted AMAZING, especially the salt and pepper calamari. The black bean beef was perfectly tender.
Although it's a little pricey, for the quality of the food it's completely worth it. The only downside is that you can't take away any left over food, but really, the food tastes so good you don't want to leave any behind!
Classy Chinese. Must admit, im not too sure how authentic this place is but the fitout and the food was great and classy.
Like it very much and will go there if I want to relax and spoil myself a little bit, even though the prices are a bit high, still worth it!
Nice ambiance, helpful, friendly staffs, great food. Took family visiting from the UK and they loved the food.
Wow what a gem I have found over in the West. Fantastic food. You won't go wrong if you dine here
Great service, best meal in a while. we had the steamed prawn dumplings, duck and mushroom soup, Peking honey chilli beef and combination chow mein. everything was amazing but the duck and mushroom soup was a highlight.
Very nice food and good choices for meat eaters. Lacks options for vegans and vegetarians (putting fish sauce/oyster sauce etc in means it is not vegetarian!). Good atmosphere and would recommend booking at table on busy nights. Service is a bit slow but staff apologetic and polite.
Food taste great with good serving size. The seating area is spacious. Good customer service. Will come back in future 😊
Food was as good as you could expect nothing was stand out. Service was 10/10 the only thing that was odd was we got out entree before our drinks.
Great for groups great for a quick bite to eat.
9 years ago on our 1st date Eileen and I had lunch here.
We recently had dinner and it was delicious once again.
Thankyou Cocochine for many years of wonderful meals. Highly recommended ❣
