Review Vivere Restaurant - Point Cook

Cold , hard , black cheese , how hard is it to melt cheese on a base ? Called to fix the issue they told me that’s hw it’s served and no I won’t be getting a refund Good work guys I see why ya seats are always empty and now why your 2* Do point cook a favour and close your doors for good

I’m really disappointed with vivere’s food as of late. A good 8 years ago it was my absolute favourite. I went with my family, there was about 13 of us and none of us were satisfied with our food. My niece was even refusing to eat her kids bolognese, it had no flavour and was bland as it comes. Not to mention the waitress hit her on the head with the hot plate and said absolutely nothing NO APOLOGY! My partners sister’s oysters looked like instant food poisoning waiting to happen so she didn’t take the chance. My partner ordered a pizza and the whole centre of it had no cheese??? Just absolutely appalling every single one our meals had something to fault. You should really take a good look at your reviews because they’re honestly not wrong and there’s a lot of bad ones in there. I personally wish I read them prior to having my family there. Will not return

Went again last night (keep hoping the experience would be as good as it used to be years ago). Had crumbed chicken with roasted potatoes, if you need salad or vegetables you need to order extra. They also didn’t have any sour cream (had to go over the road to get some). With the chicken Parma the choice is salad or chips, not both as they change you for the extras. They advertise themselves as home style Italian cooking, but make sure you have to add extras to your meal. Upon leaving they tried to charge us for the sour cream that they don’t even stock! Will be a very long time before we come back again.

This is the first time ever leaving a review from a resteraunt. I am never one to complain but that was seriously the worst meal I have ever had. The chicken Parma was all soggy and the chicken was disgusting and chewy. Mind you I paid 21$ for the parmy and it didnt even come with chips. My partners seafood pasta was over cooked and disgusting.. how businesses like this survive is beyond me. This food would make a dog sick

While the food is average at best., management and service is poor. No wonder on a Saturday night you have more staffs serving and cooking than the number of diners. Its a shame... But it could have been a great local Italian restaurant as the restaurant is blessed with generous space in a premium location. Hope things sorts out soon.

Ordered a take away coffee, and went I got to the end of the cup I got a bonus cockroach in it too. Sick to my stomach is an understatement. It smelled like an Indian restaurant...what happened to this place? It used to have the beautiful smells of garlic and basil when you would walk past? The lack of customer service, people standing around not even acknowledging customers waiting showed lack of respect that seems to filter down into the actual business of running the place.

Went for dinner tonight. Total waste of money. Service was average at best. Veal scallopini was rubbery and chewy. Mushroom sauce was basically a gravy with mushrooms floating in it. Pumpkin mash was bland with big chunks of skin. The only good thing was the garlic bread. Will not go back

Nice ambience. Great customer service👍，our waitress is Tara who is very approachable and lovely. we ordered pasta and risotto, very satisfied. Oh, they do great coffee, too. Overall, it's an excellent experience. Better than some fine dining restaurants we've been to. One of the best place to try in Point Cook. Highly recommend.

We have been loyal customers at Vivere for a long time now. A few years back, their pasta was beautiful and house made, their pizza was perfect. We even enjoyed their seafood dishes which were fresh and served with flavoursome sauces. Unfortunately, the last few orders we've placed with them have been a complete and utter waste of money and after tonight, we won't be ordering from them again. Tonight, we ordered bruschetta (which was essentially 2 big, thick slices of untoasted bread that was soaking in tomato juice, covered in soft, mushy tomatoes and red onion, topped with a tiny sliver of bocconcini on each slice.) We also ordered the Cozze (the mussels were anything but fresh and the onion, garlic and tomato broth was watery and flavourless.) The Gamberi All' Aglio was just as disappointing - the prawns were over cooked and there was NO garlic dipping sauce, the salad was soggy and drenched in balsamic vinegar. The Di Calamari was rubbery and coated in a soggy crumb and the 'creamy balsamic mayonnaise' was bitter and grainy. That's a total of $81.80 in the bin. What a waste. Prior to this order, we had ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a Capricciosa. The Hawaiian pizza came with olives and both pizzas were below average. I'm not sure whether there's has been a change in ownership or the head chef has changed? Whatever it is, I would really recommend saving your money and avoiding this place until they get it together.

WTF! we use to love eating here. The food was very disappointing last 2 home deliveries have been super bland risotto no chicken in it no flavour and tonight arincini balls OMG DISGUSTING hand full of frozen veg mix in some rice balls and gelato i requested "lemon and choc only please" got a tub of vanilla ice cream with some choc and strawberry gelato. Wont be ordering again in a hurry. �

Half hour late on delivery, vegetarian pizza looked like it was a Margherita with vegetables accidentally dropped on it, very lacking in taste and substance, despite paying extra for chilli. Garlic pizza was really bland. Didn't enjoy the bases. Expected a little more than Pizza Hut/Domino type pizza, maybe a step up, but could name at least 8 better local pizza places in the same area. Will not be ordering from here again.

Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. As per my taste I think Vivere is the best Italian cuisine in Pointcook.the quality,quantity as well as the savour are just awesome.though the place is always busy but they serve dishes to the customers so quickly & its really surprising. We love to come here again & again when it comes for Italian cuisine.

45 minutes before we were asked if we wanted a drink and lucky we ordered our food at the same time because it was over an hour before we got our meals. Service was terrible (lack of) and the food was even worse. We watched table after table complain and even walk out. Our chicken looked like it was sitting there for hours it was that dry and the menu said cheese filling which was no where to be seen. Complained about it all as we paid and they could not care less, no apology, not even an excuse. We will never go back and heard many people say the same thing. Shame on you Vivere

Went for my birthday dinner and it was a disaster from the minute we sat down. What appeared to be a kids party next to us with the most badly behaved children screaming shouting and running around with no parents actually attempting to control them (I am a mum of 4 so not like I don't understand). The kids were so loud that it was impossible to actually hold any form of conversation. Then when the meals arrived I was given the wrong thing, took it back and waited for mine. One of my kids ordered pizza but only managed 1 slice as it was so heavily loaded with ham (approx 1.5cm layer) and over cooked so he gave up on it. My meal didn't appear by the time my family had finished so cancelled the order. Yes the staff apologised but sorry not good enough at all. Will never go back there again and a birthday ruined.

Delicious authentic Italian food . Great service, good atmosphere, meals at reasonable prices and ample choices. Even better when you enjoy a good Italian meal with your family. Also accommodates children with both meals and play area!Love when restaurant owners provide for families . Well done🖒���

Always a great meal. And my daughter is in raptures with your death by chocolate shake! The salmon I ordered is perfect. And the pizza great as always. Such a shame your play area has been destroyed by kids who don't care about other people's belongings. Staff wonderful and friendly. We love coming here.

After ordering 2 pasta mains and 2 pizzas, was told 20mins only to wait an extra 30mins for this shit.... Thin crust was normal crust and pasta was substandard in quantity and quality... They apologized as they 'were under the pump' yet the restaurant was at 30℅ capacity... Poor service and poor quality as well as second time round for waiting an extra 30mins.... Place has turned to shit....

In a nut shell the food,service and atmosphere were very disappointing since we were there last,the scallopini was swimming to a watery oily gravy( you couldn’t call it a jus)peppercorns were not completely cooked,staff were not interested in service as on several occasions we looked around to ask questions,and they were standing chatting at the bar area,when we did ask a question about a sauce we were told “I think it’s a red sauce” we asked for our comments to be passed on to the person cooking who really wasn’t interested in their customers feed back or satisfaction. Advise to cook and wait staff: Go try a magnificent Italian restaurant in Geelong called La Vista they could teach you how a restaurant is of high quality food and service...as we were visiting with locals they were horrified how everything had gone down hill.

Food was delicious . Didn't get the garlic bread we ordered and had to ask where our second pizza was as hadn't come out 10 minutes after the other one came. The pizza came very quickly and wasn't very hot and was quite soggy!! I think it was sitting somewhere in the kitchen for a time.
