This is our go to place for Mexican food. The food has very good balance. Not so overpowering with cheese like other Mexican places I have been to. The service here is very poor though. They never clean your finished dishes even when we are ready to have our desserts. We still prefer this place because we live locally and the food never disappoint us.
Yum yum yum! Was really hanging out for Mexican food and decided to try this place. The tacos were awesome and super flavoursome. Also the chocolate nachos were bomb! Best sangria jugs and for $20 you can't go wrong
Tasty food and friendly service, what more can you want. The menu or $ isn’t exactly the same on this site (branched out from Qld), but pretty close & reasonable. Fresh ingredients and cold drinks... will be back
If you want delicious modern Mexican this is a great place to go as a family. We dined in and were pleasantly surprised how cheap it was - only about $60 for 3 mains, a couple of sides & drinks. The serving staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the sticky chicken!
Food was pretty good, came out at a reasonable time. The drinks where also quite good and too expensive. Service was a bit slow due to there only being two staff members which is understandable.
Ordered the tacos, crispy wrap and serve of wings! Waited crazy long for the food to arrive (20 minutes+) 😑 then I realised there was a huge order of ribs two other tables ordered. Finally our dishes arrived and the wait staff apologised and explained exactly what I anticipated 😅 then she came back with another serve of tacos saying it was on the house to compensate how long we've waited, the fact that the workers actually noticed how long we've waited deserves a thumbs up 👍 highly recommend this place, would definitely go back!
Very high quality food, exceptional customer service (did not wait long for our food) and hands down the BEST churros I have ever had! I highly recommend the Burrito Bar for a family dinner outing! Must try
Great addition to the Point Cook shopping centre. I had the salad bowl with veggies and found it tasty and filling (loved the taco shell bowl). The chips are well seasoned. We ordered piña coladas and they were well priced and a good balance of flavours.
Day of visit: Sunday around 5.45pm
Environment: Casual dining, 3 booth style seating, tables and chairs and high stool/table seats.
Greeted by staff and invited to sit where ever.
Service: Good - friendly, and order came out in a reasonable amount of time.
Food: Not bad, I had burrito which I thought was a little on the small side in comparison with GYG or Salsa Fresh Mexicana but tasted alright.
Good array of sauces for dips and such.
Mrs G had Enchilada - reported it was good.
My young guys were introduced to Quesadillas (made up some other name for them to make it more interesting- Argentina soccer sandwich) which was received well.
We also had service of mexican fries and nachos fries. Again went down well.
Reasonably price coming in around $70 with deserts for four people.
Overall, 3/5, but will ramp up to 3.5 for giving the Point Cook Town Centre some injection of variety.
Just amazing. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the cocktails are perfect! The waitress was kind and efficient, the food was quick and delicious, and the chef came to check we were enjoying our food. I went with 2 South American friends that confirmed the food is authentic and substantial in size. I had the large chicken enchiladas and tequila sunrise (pictured) and they were perfect.
I can only put the bad reviews down to entitled, needy, and greedy reviewers as this restaurant is nothing like they describe.
I hope Burrito Bar stays open forever as it is my favourite Mexican restaurant. ❤️
