Thank you Muse for a spectacular evening. After the first time on a plane in eons, spending time with friends not seen in years, Muse was the perfect setting, service, and experience to honour our very special occasion. The food is inspired and impeccable. Every bite was brilliant. Smell, taste, texture were all beyond anything we had hoped for. And the service. Kind. Pleasant. Just enough and never too much. Thank you from the bottom of three friends hearts who needed some new lifelong warm memories together.

I had dinner for my 30th birthday at Muse and the experience was unforgettable. The attention to detail and customer care definitely exceeded my expectations! During the dinner, I got cold and I wore my jacket. One member of the staff came to tell me that they would turn off the air conditioning as there is no worst thing than eating in a cold environment. The food is delicious and the staff makes you feel at home. Ben was our waiter and we absolutely loved him! Must try: wood fired oyster and coconut dessert😍

Nice experience. Friendly staff. Food was tasty but as a fine dining restaurant the decor & vibe is more casual than expected (particularly the toilets which felt like you were at a public park bathroom) and was quite expensive for what you get. Highlight was the squid and snapper. The coconut dessert is beautiful but after a few bites it was quite heavy and becomes sickening (I have a sweet tooth but couldn’t finish it)!

Exceptional service. Our waiter was polite and very delightful and did a great job explaining the dishes and serving us throughout the night. Coconut Dessert was amazing. The sides of potato and carrots were delicious but the majority of the other dishes were okay (nothing really stood out as amazing). I did not particularly like the cooked oyster (didnt like the taste) , the sushi roll (unexpected pickled flavour) and the kingfish (felt lacking a citrous dressing or sauce ) As I eat fine Japanese often, I felt like the attempt to do the Japanese food with the Modern Australian spin fell short. For the price, and the reputation, I was hoping for more impressive dishes.

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Muse. For someone who had been struggling with a loss of taste after Covid, the food was a real highlight. I could definitely taste it! The flavours were perfect. Add to that the attentive and friendly service from our waitress (Alex C) who really looked after us.😀 You know the place is good when the cheese course is a culinary sensation! Thanks for a memorable evening guys.

Fine Japanese inspired dining. Premium food at premium served by staff who provide premium service. My wife loved it. The food was delicious and it was nice, but as a thrifty pleb, I couldn't reconcile the price.

WOW! My wife and I both loved this place. From being greeted at the door to the "Coconut" desert - food so beautiful you almost don't want to eat it - Muse is a great dining destination just 2 hours north of Sydney. We loved the degustation and paired wines, complete with expert commentary from Linda the very friendly sommelier. The food was fresh, inventive and gorgeously presented. Even though they told us the seating times were strict we never felt rushed and enjoyed a few wines by the enormous stone fireplace in the adjacent lounge.

It was a great experience at Muse. The food was amazing and the staff are very nice. Curtis is a top bloke. We definitely recommend this experience in the Hunter 👍👍
