After having a terrible morning i went in here for a much needed coffee i had my fur child ronald beagle with me and the girl that served me couldn't have been any nicer not only did she make me an amazing coffee but she gave my dog a cuddle and some treats he loved it and loved the treat we will be back to get some more and eat some of your amazing good soon thank you so much

I swear this place has the best cheesecakes around! I was tossing and turning between the pistachio & honey and the white choc & raspberry. The friendly lady at the counter convinced me on the white choc & raspberry one, oh my god it was so creamy and just wow! No better way to celebrate world cheesecake day.
Amazing! Great food great service all round great! Port Adelaide is really building, having a mix of old and new is always important. Mayfair is an institution very inspiring to see a young family take on and succeed with a new take on a traditional icon!
Grant pies and cakes makes this a mandatory stop-off when going through the Port.

Cheesecakes .. to die for. I always take people here, the desserts are exceptional, not just an ordinary bakery. The product line is well thought out and crafted with care.

A very nice young man makes good coffee and (my wife says) extremely good hot chocolate.
An excellent madeleine (I'm sure if I dipped it in jasmine tea it would have reminded me of something) was soft and moist and my wife had a tiny hazelnut tart that had wafer thin shortcrust pastry, filled with hazelnut mousse with a layer of nutella (oh, all right gianduja) and a wisp of chocolate and a hazelnut piece on top. Delicious and refined.
A large coffee, a small hot chocolate, two cakes, a Bickfords Cola and a Gingerbread (our son was with us) and it cost around $16 which is ridiculously cheap for this sort of thing.
Honestly, Port Adelaide can be a bit desolate but this place is a little gem.
WOW!!. Popped in to the new and improved Mayfair Bakery. What a lovely place. Friendly staff great coffee and hot chocolate. Delicious quiche!! Yummy cakes. Cant wait for the new one to be opened on semaphore rd.
Amazing!!! This is exactly what the Port has been waiting for. A breath of fresh air, outstanding pastries both savoury and sweet such a unique range unlike the common range you'll find at most corner store bakeries with a range of fresh tarts that highlight fresh fruits (amazing raspberries)! I am a local of Port Adelaide and couldnt be happier that I only have to walk around the corner to get authentic French pastries!

Their display also helped me to see what I’m getting, plus ThEY looK So dELiciOus!!

Vegan doughnuts, pasties and sausage rolls available which is great, as well as some cake options! Decent hot chocolate. Some of their patisserie could be better - the meringue on top of the lemon meringue pie was over baked and the lemon filling could have been more curd like. However the custard tart and the raspberry white chocolate cheesecakes were delicious, the pastry was crisp and the fillings tender.
I would recommend it for vegans though as it’s great having choice!

I wasn't generally a fan of the simple Aussie chocolate donut but Mayfairs make the best I've ever had.
I'm also usually not a fan of baked cheesecakes except for Mayfair's - they are delicious!
