Have been a few times & have had a wonderful experience each time. (Including seeing Seals in the bay while there for a meal.) The food is amazing, with a good variety & very well priced. Loved walking around the lavender field, & learning how the essential oil is sourced. The gift shop has recently been re-arranged & looks wonderful. The candles & soaps are to die for! Definitely my favourite place to grab a meal or coffee in Port Arthur! Will be back again & again!

We enjoyed our dinner at Port Arthur Lavender Farm, my salt and pepper squid was tasty and tender. My husbands scotch fillet was cooked perfectly. The sticky date puddings for dessert were delicious! Will recommend to many!

Stopped by this lil gem. The food was amazing, so tasty and fresh. The porterhouse in my beef sandwich was the most tender steak I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. So many beautiful lavender products too. Also the lavender ice cream was yummy 😋

We visited Port Arthur Lavender for lunch yesterday, as a treat while camping. Wow! What a sensational place! We had no booking, but they fitted our party of seven in and provided outstanding service. The food was excellent. Much of it was on their lavender theme - very creative and ever so pretty looking at the range of takeaway goods as well as to that beautiful bay. In addition to the inside dining area, there were tables outside (as you enter from the car park) and in a marquee. The styling and ambience were a real success and the service was exceptionally good. We had a light lunch of soup, panini, savoury scones, followed up with a decadent lavender dessert. There was a spacious souvenir area, a distillery, fields of lavender for an attractive photo shoot but the real surprise find was a delightful toddler sized cubby house outside. A high chair was offered as soon as we arrived and the hardworking staff related well to the children as well as the adults. Thank you. We will certainly be back.

Very surprised when I drove past this place looking for somewhere to eat before a Port Arthur ghost tour after thinking it was more a lavender store than an eatery of any sorts. Checked the menu and it looked yummy. Happy to report the food we had that night was delicious, so much so that we returned the next day for bacon and poached eggs for breakfast. If I am ever down that way, I will actively seek the place for a meal.

Very impressive! I would thoroughly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Scones, piping hot out of the oven doused with lavender cream and lavender infused strawberry jam - what more can I say?👌

Great place great food great service. Funniest part of the visit was my husbands disappointed face when he realised the distillery was for the lavender and not beer

Amazing scenery, friendly service and lots of lavender. The lavender white chocolate is the perfect consistency and the icecream is sweet from the lavender.

Got a lavender cheesecake and a lavender latte. The cheesecake was absolutely heavenly. I was also surprised by how big the slice was. I was extremely stuffed after finishing the cake. The lavender-infused cheesecake is a must-try! As for the latte, the coffee taste overpowered the lavender, and I couldn't taste the lavender at all. But overall, a pleasant experience.

Amazing location, great views and a nice little Lavender Farm and distillary. Loved the concept and worthy pitstop for your trip to Port Arthur.

Had a Fish n chips and it was simply amazing. Have not seen many places giving fresh good portions of salmon in fish n chips, but this is place is one such exception. Chips were housemade and yum. Couldn't have finished it with any better than a superb Lavender icecream. Highly recommended and would love to come back again. Keep it up 👍👍

What an amazing place this is !

The view was top notch and the Lavendar farm behind the cafe was beautiful.

We ordered salmon and chips, fish platter (so good) and Lavendar Milkshake. The food was freshly prepared and served.

Must visit when in Tasmania !

Wow what an amazing little find. We were looking for a quick snack after touring port Arthur and stopped by here with no expectations other than a feed. All the dishes were absolutely delicious and to finish off with the lavender surprise...... staff were friendly enough.

Stopped by for a lavender-filled lunch and was not disappointed! The highlight was the salmon which was juicy and flaky, with a delicious light batter. We also tried the scones with lavender flavoured cream which was a good take on the traditional.

Our lavender milkshake wasn't overpowering which was a nice surprise but the coffee was a bit too roasted for our taste but each to their own. The ice cream did not lack in lavender flavour but was a bit too strong for us.

Overall a definite must try if you're in the area!

The Lavendar farms and the setting is just you don’t get to see or experience daily. To compliment this the food is an icing on the cake.
The veggie burger with the corn and chickpea patty was a massive one and was a delish
The tassie salmon fish & chips was amazing as well, the salmon had a batter which was crispy and really nice, the fish itself was cooked to perfection. The portion size are massive and is a bang for your buck. The Lavendar ice -cream needs a special mention, a must try when you are here 😍 Good food in an awesome setting 😀

Lovely! We stopped here for afternoon tea; lavender chocolate muffins, orange and almond teacake washed down with cappucinos and the best lavender grey tea I have ever had! Beautiful surroundings, the smell is heavenly! Excellent service- would definitely come again! Thank you!!

Beautiful tranquil spot - the best part was the warm smell of lavender and the views!! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I had the seafood chowder which was nice although it could have been creamier with more depth of flavours. Highlight was the Lavender White Chocolate... what a treat!

We stopped at the lavender farm for a late lunch on our way back from Port Arthur as the general all-lavender concept hooked us.
Good experience overall : good and interesting food (scallops, bacon and chorizo skewers on point) - even the simple caesar salad was amazing, good products and generous portions.
Special mention to the view which is just gorgeous on a sunny day.

The Port Arthur lavender farm is a family owned business, where over 16,000 lavender plants are grown, harvested and processed each year over their two plants. There’s a gift shop on site where everything is scented, flavoured and/or coloured lavender, the beautiful fields you can stroll around, and a tiny little “distillery” education shed, where you can learn about how the oil is actually made. We’d stopped off for afternoon tea, so we by-passed the breakfast and lunch offerings (all made with lavender in some way, points for the very creative menu), and shared a plate of scones instead. Fresh, soft, fluffy scones. With a side of house-made jam (wow – THAT good!) and lavender infused cream. Everything about it was perfect – the scones were massive and fresh, the cream had the most amazing lavender flavour without being over powering, and it was easy to see why the jams they make win all those awards!

Food at the cafe is a bit exy but fulfilling. Only downside was the berry liqueur served with the pancakes, which apparently tasted like panadol (hence set aside). There is indoor and outdoor seating, overlooking the water. They also sell a selection of lavender produce as well but I didn't purchase anything.

The lavender fields seen from the car park appear a little superficial (i.e. planted more for looks rather than for practical reasons) so I would think that they grow their lavender further from the cafe or elsewhere.

Stopped here after going to Port Arthur. Wine was good with a pleasant Pinot Gris, and the trevalley served as the fish was nicely presented with a cucumber, mint and melon salad.
Overall a good experience.

Lavender milkshake was very tasty. The soup of the day was a very ordinary tomato soup with no ingredients in it, so I don't recommend it. The steak meal was very tasty. The scallop meal is also delicious. Chocolate lavender milkshake, poor proportions, the chocolate completely covered the taste of the whole drink. The fried squid was soft and not crispy on the outside.

A great spot to stop for breakfast/brunch/lunch on your way in or out of Port Arthur. Good food and a fantastic gift store stacked full of a fabulous range of products from lavender gin, to lavender chocolates, fudges, nougat, coconut ice and cookies, lavender body washes, creams and muscle rubs, beautiful blankets and lavender-infused heat packs, specialty lavender teas and hot chocolates, jewelry and much, much more.
