Great Coffee, with the best view in town. Perfectly relaxed vibe with the trusty old record player playing in the back ground and the northerly sun shining through the back window. Bliss.
This is the "real deal" for a locally sourced (and delicious) fresh menu. Try the breakfast porridge - the aroma was almost better than the coffee! I love the chocolate brownie that you can "squidge" with your finger and it has just a perfect hint of inner goo. The funky-but-welcoming interior (vinyl records!) is nicely edgy for Port Campbell too BUT with a wonderfully warm ambience. Check it out.
Let me put it this way, I came back the next day for round two! Try the Baked Eggs. Creamy, delicious and cooked to perfection with local Apostle Whey Cheese topping the dish. Pair it with a Love Tea blend or Strawberry Smoothie (with fresh strawberries from the next town over!) to make it a true Great Ocean Road feast. 😊
Best of all, it won't break your bank! With dishes around $15-ish, you certainly aren't paying 'city prices' for free range great tasting food. Highly recommend!!!

This place is a great family run shop. I knew the second I saw the place and read the name we had to try it out. The food is authentic and well thought out using the freshest ingredients available. I also really appreciated the selection of treats and crafts available at the register. Great job!

Had a beautiful brunch today, the blue cheese gnocchi literally melts in your mouth. Cartel coffee is being shown at its full potential in their long blacks. Friendly staff, will definatley be back.
Unforgettable! I got the french toast with bacon, caramelised bananas & maple syrup, and from the very first bite the flavours were incredible, and the bacon so crispy!
The foods were great! Nice place to sit by outside to watch the beach. Staff were friendly and nice.

Came here for my birthday lunch and I couldn’t be happier. I ordered the gnocchi with pumpkin and burnt butter sage and washed it down with a glass of bubbles. Delicious food that tasted like real freshness made with love. If we are ever in this neck of the woods again I will definitely return for the steak! My husband’s meal looked divine too!
Loved it here! One the best burgers I’ve ever had with a great IPA and my wife had a delicious gnocchi with a sparkling white. Well worth the effort
The location is lovely, but the food is spectacular. I will be thinking about the spelt hotcake for a long, long time. And the lobster omelette is every bit as good as it sounds. And then some incredible take-home gnocchi to cap it off. Will definitely visit again if I'm in town.
