Breakfast was nice, chicken burger and salmon crepe. Food came out fast. Beautiful view of the creek and the golf course. The only drawback is we had to order the food at the bar, standing in line for 15 minutes, when paying over $30 a meal we would’ve liked proper table service. Apart from that we were happy.

Generous portions, amazing flavours and well presented! Definitely value for money.
I had the Crepe with salmon fillet, and it was VERY generous with the salmon. I could not even finish it. Absolutely delicious!
My husband had the Full House (big breakfast), and was very impressed with the sausages - excellent flavours!
The view is beautiful on a sunny day, and you can spot some cute little fish in the creek beneath. The ambience is inviting, the staff is very attentive and friendly, we got recognised with a 'hello' as soon as we walked up.
We will definitely eat here more than once during our stay in Port Douglas.

Breakfast by the golf court was a new different place for us. The cafe bit hideous with ongoing building projects. We thought it was closed. I think the management should have a notice up the front road that the cafe is open. Food and drinks are great, big meals enough for two. The views is spectacular enjoy the mountains and people playing golf from a far.

Best breakfast in Port Douglas! Fantastic cafe, love looking over the lake and golf course. The food was great and the staff lovely, I don't know how they do it in this heat. We will be back before we leave!

Disappointing after the good reviews. We were one of the last tables for lunch and ordered the Southern Fried burger, chicken Caesar salad and a kids meal. I noticed my salad was on the kitchen counter for a while. Another tables meals went out and my salad still sat on the counter while the chef prepared our other meals. As a result, the chicken and poached egg was getting cold while the lettuce underneath was hot and wilted. The flavour of the Caesar dressing was nice but to be honest the wilted lettuce made me cranky. The service was poor, I mentioned my salad was on the counter for some time when they finally brought it over and they did not came back during our meal to see if we were ok or to ask about our meals. It was clear they wanted us out quick as it was end of lunch. I would have rather they said the kitchen was closed instead of getting that last sale but making it a poor experience for us. Tastiness of food: burgers - 5/5, Caesar salad 1/5, lovely surrounds looking out into lake 5/5, service staff - grumpy lady 1/5, price - somewhat expensive for what you get 3/5. Overall value 3/5. Disappointing overall.

Great food, great service, great views. Highly recommended. Good prices and very well presented food that is a cut above many other cafes.

Visiting Port Douglas from Sydney and our first stop for lunch was here. Nice efficient staff. We ordered the fish and chips and the calamari and both were delicious. The calamari dish was better than the calamari dish we had at Watergate restaurant for dinner (this was a waste of time & money if I'm honest). Keep up the good work!

A picturesque cafe looking over the golf course, great food at a reasonable price. Staff were friendly and efficent service.
