This place was fabulous. We arrived without a booking and Renato found us a lovely table outside where we could watch the sunset even though it was booked out. Renato was fabulous in his service - impeccable! The food was faultless. The basil gelato a must and the Angus beef perfect!

Great dinner without booking during the busy Easter holidays. We were lucky to get the table at the bar, which is the best bet if you don’t have the booking. Cocktails were great, food delicious - salmon tartare is a must try. Service was friendly, Angela, our waiter, always had a smile on and great attitude.
Feeling very fortunate to have visited so many of PD’s best restaurants this time on our Easter break. Last time in Jan ‘22 many had to cancel due to Covid. Sassi is a fave and feels very like being in the real deal in Bella Italia with which we are also very fortunate to be familiar. A real taste of La Famiglia. Not cheap but this is not your average Italian. This is the Don of Italian cooking. We stick with the Linguine Ai Frutti di mare and Zuppa di Pesce as these are not dishes we can perfect at home. Always authentic.
Don’t expect frilly service. You’re going for the food. Capiche!!
The food was delicious, we ordered the raw tuna, oysters and scallops for entree. All were super fresh and yum, our favourite was the scallops. For mains we shared the veal pappardelle and steak, both great but the pasta being the best. I had a chocolate pudding for dessert which was like a chocolate lava cake and it was amazing, I could eat this dessert everyday. Great service and all staff were very nice.
This place is AMAZING!! Floor staff are super friendly. But the food is out of this planet 🌎.

Wow! Lucky enough to walk in and get a table. Food was amazing, staff were superb, friendly and very efficient. Dessert was sooo good. Hope next time we are back to be lucky enough to get a table again.
A beautiful elegant and spacious restaurant in the most wonderful location. Great food and service. I love the Italian wine our waiter recommend. We visited twice.
Have been here a few times now and everything I have had was / is amazing. Would come back every night if my wallet allowed me to eat out all the time! Just love the place 👌💕
Loved it. Great authentic Italian food with good service. Beef carpaccio superb. Hand made pasta prawns, asparagus tomato and chilli the same. Mixologist intuitive with serving up a local distilled G&T with some interesting add ins. Good wine list. Read the back of their T shirts for a laugh
