Dropped into this resort for some late lunch and a beer by the pool.
Very pleasant, and very civilised. I can understand that the place may get busy sometimes, and the service levels may suffer , but today it was pleasant and service was great.

Please don't let the 3 star rating put you off, we nearly did. We had a great night out celebrating a birthday. The food was extremely tasty, huge portions for style of restaurant and the dip trio a must.
If you are staying at the sea temple, do your self a favour and treat yourself.

The location is impressive but food was not that good. I have a steak fat and stuff,(definitely not worth $47.00.
my son has fish and chips. Chips smells like burnt oil. Waitresses have not basic skills of serving food.

Really lovely waitress but the girl behind the bar doing coffees (on 16 June) gives this place a terrible name/vibe. The eye rolling at customers and how ignorantly she spoke to the waitress left my husband and I in disbelief.

A disappointing end to our first day in Port Douglas with a meal that was underwhelming to say the least. Food was poor and lacked flavour - the prawn and fish dish lacked seasoning and tasted like dishwater. Other meals were average and not what was expected for a bill of $420 for 5 people.
Gave this place multiple chances over the course of our trip. Terribly slow service. Not worth the wait.
