We went to Bitter Sweet after a walk along the beach. The food is really good and tasty. We had the chicken burger, eggs Benny, salt and pepper squid with salad and vege quiche.
The service was good and quick.
Must visit if you're near Lighthouse Beach.

It's a really nice place to go after taking my dog to the beach, good food, awesome deserts. I feel like the staff are usually nice but everytime I have ordered a cake for my mums birthday they've been a bit rude and harsh with their tone. I know they're busy and they're just trying to get it over and done with but im buying a $95 cake here and I do suffer with anxiety which makes it harder on me.

Absolute best ever, avo on toast. Beautiful flavours, plenty on your plate. Going back again on the weekend to try a different dish & try to talk owners into opening near yo home.

Great confectionery, nice meals, friendly service, good local reputation. Parking can be hit or miss and it's a long way from the CBD which is both a plus and a minus! Always a nice visit.

Staff super friendly & great service. I ordered 'Simply can't decide' because I was tossing up between the granola or poached egg with avo & this came with a small serving of both - perfect size & so yummy! (wish I had taken a photo... next time)

Great place to just grab a takeaway coffee or sit down and enjoy the ambience.
Caters for breakfast and lunch, morning and afternoon tea and everything in between.
If you are gluten free, lactose free or have any other dietary requirements the team at Bittersweet will do their best.
There are tables inside and outside so you can bring your pooch along and there is a water bowl to quench their thirst too.
The cakes and slices here are to die for . . . I just wish I didn’t live so close �

I just Love Bittersweet, everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The staff know exactly how I like my coffee as I am very fussy. When I pre-order it is always ready for me when I arrive which is what I like. The menu is varied and the food absolutely delicious. We Love to go there for lunch or just drop in at any time for a cuppa. The new Decor is great and there is a lot more room. Bittersweet is a fabulous cafe. We've been going there for years. It's in a great location near Lighthouse Beach, the staff are lovely, the coffee is great and the food is wonderful - try the granola tart for breakfast!
