The menu items are hit and miss. Today they charged me ~$18 for a piece of bread and undercooked eggs. I’ve been here before and enjoyed the steak sandwich though.
Edit: it doesn’t allow me to reply to you but yes I got the vegetarian breakfast for $17.50 (despite being advertised for a lower price online which is technically illegal - double ticketing) Ultimately my main complaint is that I purchased a meal for $17.50 which did not satisfy my hunger. It did include everything you said and tasted fine but was such a small piece of toast (and thus had a small quantity of toppings) that it should be on the menu as an appetiser. I don’t expect everything for nothing but a $17.50 main menu item should include enough food to be considered a meal.

worst eggs benny I've ever had ! Poached eggs were watery , Turkish bread was barely toasted and so soggy from eggs . Had a few bites , couldn't eat the rest, disappointed. Waitress was very lovely tho.

We decided on zucchini and corn fritters and poached eggs and I asked for an extra plate. We got two plated meals and wee simply bowled over with the exceptional taste of the corn fritters augmented by the tomato on onion salsa. The poached eggs were the best we have ever had, the white soft and silky and not overcooked or watery. Coffee was very good, hot but not burnt, and we sipped on it whilst waiting for our meal.

I was most impressed with the service as I was accommodated with a meal not on the menu. The traditional puttanesca pasta is my favourite and I mentioned this and was told that the chef would make it.
The dish was cooked perfectly. Made me feel like I was eating a home cooked meal as it should be.
A must eat place if you are in port Macquarie

Private function held for our Christmas Party - Fantastic night was had by all with the food being superb, Christmas Dinner, oh my the plum pudding was divine . The staff were excellent went way beyond our expectation ... 100% in everything .

Went in to have my favourite meal of the day ... Breakfast. Staff are amazingly friendly and menu is fabulous, I couldn't decide what to have, I wanted it all..Looking at the menu & eating what I had ... The breakfast bruschetta we will definitely be coming back real soon..! Keep up the good work.

The food was well priced for the amount you received and was lovely to eat. All the staff members were very welcoming. They managed to fit us in without a booking during their busy lunch rush and seemed happy to do so. Very pleased with the overall experience and will definitely be back!!

What a fabulous find in Port Macquarie, my friend has coeliac disease and Andrew the chef made her feel so welcome and normal. Four of us enjoyed a delightful lunch, staff were very pleasant and attentive, highly recommend Noshtalgia.

They are great .it was late afternoon and they were getting the carpet cleaned. They set up a table outside the shop .gave us a full choice of menue to choose except for a couple of things they were out of. Nothing too much trouble food great.
