Honestly isually one of my favourite places however this particular restraunt was very dissapointing... Went with my partner and our son, my son and i got our drinks relevantly quick however my partners came 10/15 mins after ours.... Big brekky was beautiful even though we asked with toast not pankcakes for this meal and got pancakes... My son got the canadian brekky wich was great... 30MINS LATER after my partner and son had finnished eating i FINALLY got my meal (canadian brekky, same as my son) even after asking multiple staff if my meal was coming... Now i must express my dissapointment as a 6 months pregnant woman already feeling sick from not eating soon enough, i am also a gaststric sleever so wanted to hold off on eating b4 hand so i actually ate it 😆 .... Brought my meal and i had fryed runny eggs.... asked for scrambled as cant eat runny eggs pregnant... so they had to take back and then was another 20 mins to rectify?... and i got the TINIEST bit of tomato 😆 so dissapointing. Poor service, pretty good food.....

Was a really delicious and filling pancake breakfast. Prices are decent with super friendly staff and also has a quirky, cool interior design. Definitely a highlight in Port.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast here! Eggs, bacon, tomatoes, pancakes & maple syrup. Everything nice & hot and absolutely delicious! Great place to dine, colourful decor, friendly staff! Super clean, hand sanitizer provided upon entry, staff are very particular with disinfecting & wiping menus after each use. Tables & chairs wiped clean after each customer. Highly recommend to dine here! Will be back!

Was really good, despite being busy and it was so delicious. 100% recommended. Banana and Custard was amazing.

All our meals looked amazing even the drinks, and all were tasty! Fresh ingredients. I had the vege one and the standard pancakes with cinnamon, fresh cream and generous ice cream scope! I highly recommend! Service was friendly too. Meals were not too expensive. I can see why it’s popular.

Pros: pretty restaurant, clean and seems fun for kids. Cons: Average food, the coffee is not great.

We had to wait for a table which is understandable on a Sunday morning for the long weekend. Once seated our orders were promptly taken, however we then had to wait over 30 minutes for our food. Thankfully it was delicious - contrary to previous reviews - so we caught them on a good morning! It's clear to see why the pancake place is so popular for those passing through Port.

My blueberry pancakes were too over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. Pancakes should be fluffy and golden. The maple syrup was great. Service was friendly. The vibe of the cafe is nice too. Shame the pancakes weren't better. Maybe I had a one off experience.

Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though there was at least half of the tables free. Food was tasty but very overpriced for what you got. Nearly 5 dollars for a burnt mocha. Enjoyed the toucan decor though.

Love this place for breakfasr lynch or dinner. Seafood crepe is my favourite and their deserts are delicious. Great for the family including preschool friendly. Lovely bright and colourful restaurant. Yes many locals do eat here. Enjoy.

Yuck nothing is fresh, terrible coffee, bananas on my pancake were black, only one pancake with fruit on my $15 plate.. My husbands savoury pancakes weren't any better mushroom tasted like rubber..After speaking to locals I realised its only tourists that keep this place going..

The sort of food I'd cook in my own kitchen... if I hated my family.

Not everything everyone says it is!. The food is far from great and their pancakes have to be the worst I've ever tasted. Maybe the chef was having an off day but I wouldn't do it again. For two main meals and a dessert to share $72, waste of money if you ask me!

Probably the worst place ever to have pancake... Slow service, pooooor portions, very expensive . Don't wast your time here

Childish, but not in a good way. I went here with my husband, mother and father in law and toddler. The decor is geared directly towards children, but not in an inclusive way- I felt as though I was eating in a childcare centre. The food itself was average at best but not fantastic value for money. The service was okay but a little bit condescending, we were not keen to go back. This place gets rave reviews so maybe it's just me but we didn't like it!

Friendly staff. Child friendly a little over priced especially the soft drinks.

Super yummy pancakes! Had the raspberry & white choc and it was amazing! Fantastic kids area with toys, books and DVDs - made for a lovely family holiday breakfast :)

The Pancake Place  might seem like an unusual choice for dinner but they have an extensive savoury crepe menu and then there are some people who still act like they are five and choose sweet pancakes for dinner *looks at TimmyC*. This establishment has been in Port Macquarie for more than 20 years and it brings much nostalgia to those who used to come here for a treat as a kid, not because it is still open and serving delicious pancakes, but because the decor, friendly hospitality and uniform have not changed much since. If we are going to do a kid indulgent meal, we may as well complete it with an iced caramel ($6.50)  and iced coffee ($6.50) . It is very nicely decorated with cream, ‘tv snacks’ and sprinkles. Large stack of 3 pancakes ($14.90) with extra ice cream ($1.50) and extra syrup . Thick fluffy pancakes that have never disappointed. I’m glad that we got an extra scoop otherwise I don’t think they would have gone far enough for three pancakes. I also like how if you want extra
