Review Blackfish Coffee - Port Macquarie

Nice little venue, the staff were friendly and our coffees and toasties came quickly. The thing that turned us off the most about this cafe was the cat. It's long bushy tail was waving around on our food even after shooing it away. Other diners seemed to like the cat and called it on to their lap. I really didn't like its tail in my cup and on my toasted sandwich! Had we not had our baby with us who was really hungry we would have just left. One of the staff seemed to notice eventually that we didn't like it and gave it something in a dish under a chair but it still kept coming over under our table at the lounge.Not all people like cats unfortunately! I am one of them, especially in a cafe. Edited to add: thanks for your reply Justyn. We have left your little town now but will visit again. I appreciate your reply and honesty.

Hi there I would just like to inform people about the dangers of visiting this shop. It was 6:30 in the morning and I ordered a coffee. I waited 43.20 miniuts and never received my order yet I still had to drive a long way without my morning coffee which was super dangerous as I came close too falling asleep at the wheel multiple times and that is something that I should not have to put up with. I did receive my muffin and it was very good but step it game up. No thanks

Great coffee at a beautiful little beach town We stop here after taking our dog for a beach walk, breakfast is all I’ve tried and it had been great Only suggestion is add bacon and eggs to to menus they do have eggs on toast and you can add extras but I notice when ordering without toast I’ve been charged different for the same thing on different occasions Such a small thing for a place I come to all the time 🥰

Best bacon an egg roll we have had in a very long time and it was made by a lovely friendly confident very young lady (could just see over the counter 😂)and great coffee . Will be back for sure 😁

Nice cafe and the only one who cared enough for tourists to open on the morning of Christmas day. Although there were many customers, our takeaway coffee didn't take that long. As it was in the takeaway only mode we couldn't try the food.

Incredible coffee! Love to see them using flying west and my goodness they use it well! One of the best coffee I’ve had. Banana bread and veggie Turkish was incredible. Great work guys. Will definitely be back!

I don’t know why but It’s so hard to find good bacon and egg rolls these days. But these days do the best I’ve ever had! Great coffee and lovely service and the food is amazing. Worth the drive from Sydney to crescent every time!!!!!

Excellent Coffee... The Best in Port Macquarie. I'm used to great coffee, and Blackfish Coffee wouldn't be out of place with the best coffee places in Melbourne. Definitely a Must visit place when in Port Macquarie.
