I visited here yesterday for the first time and ended up having 2 coffees, and I must say they (a soy flat white and a long black with a side serve of soy) were the best coffees I've had in Port Macquarie. I'll definitely be dropping back when I'm in that part of Port.

Ordered beans thinking they would get delivered next day, somehow they went in the post and went to Sydney, kempsey,god knows where and received a week later but these guys dropped off beans to me personally while I was waiting for postie to finally find me...

Excellent guide and service from Ken, who was there to patiently explain what's available at the Peak Coffee. Although we did not get to buy an electric grinder we wanted, we bought 1kg of the Peak Pulse ($43) and 500gms of the Honduras ($28) ground beans instead. My wife and I were given to taste the different coffee brewed from the assortment of selected beans and ended up with the Pulse, which has a more balanced coffee taste, while the Honduras beans has a stronger roast taste and less acidic. Ken also explained the type of grinder to look out for, in particular the cone head and twin cutter grinders, which will produce better grounded beans, as compared with the blade grinder. A stop not to be missed for those wanting to experience, taste and know more of coffee and to buy freshly grounded coffee beans. This is also the place where you can be trained to be a barista or return to refresh once trained.
These folks are experts, they know how to make fantastic coffee. My husband is particular about good coffee, we highly recommend coming here.
Open a bit later in the afternoon than the other coffee shops. Great coffee! Worth the drive.
I was first given Peak coffee beans as a Christmas gift and have been hooked ever since! I order Peak Coffee online (because I live 6 hours away) and the quality of these beans are just crazy good! I’ve tried other roasters in NSW and the flavour is just not as good as Peak. 100% my favourite roaster.
