What a rip-off! Read good reviews and took my family of 11 for dinner . Ordered the BANQUET for $40 pp and was so disappointed ! I don’t know how they work out their portions but only enough for half our family . Just order plates separately! Other tables that came in 15mins after us got their meals

Lotus has some reasonable good quality chinese food (depending on the dishes). Curry Puffs were ok with a decent amount of mince inside. The malay clay pot was so so. From Sydney and go to Chinese restaurants all the time. This was not exactly the Chinese food we were after. Our dishes were bland and not real flavour to it. Booked late on Saturday arvo got a table for 4 at 7pm arrived and the restaurant was packed. We were seated and served within 20 minutes. Dim sims were so yummy. Service was very friendly and affable. Fried rice a bit dry. Chicken with spring onions was OK but the pieces of chicken were far too big for easy eating. Will stay with the local Chinese in Waniora.
