Finally got around to trying this place. Staff were awesome and provided excellent service. Went with salted caramel and brownie + butterscotch sauce as the mixins. Gelato was amazing. Very sad that they're closing down but hopefully will see them back in business one day.
I wanted to try this place for so long and was so happy when my high expectations were met! The ice cream not only looks so good but it tastes amazing too. It was so light and creamy, which I really enjoyed. There is such a wide selection of flavours to choose from and they constantly have new and exciting limited edition options too! Finally, the staff were incredible. Definitely some of the best service I have ever received. I highly recommend this place for a cute date or your go to ice cream stop.

Madame Spaghetti is not like your typical gelato shop. Yes, you can get your gelato scooped into a cup or a cone, but here you can also get your gelato in the form of strands of spaghetti. Hence, the name Madame Spaghetti.
Currently, Biscoffee (the delicious hybrid of coffee and Biscoff) is on the menu and if you haven’t tried this, I strongly suggest that you do. The slight bitter taste of coffee, mixed with the spiced and caramelised sweetness of Biscoff, this is a dream to eat! Biscoff cookies are crumbled and scattered on top to add texture, and butterscotch sauce is drizzled over to increase the rich flavours.
The waffles are made to order here, and are a much better vessel to hold the gelato comparted to a cone or cup. Freshly made waffles not only smell wonderful, but taste excellent too. Soft, fluffy and light, with crisped edges, I’m a believer that all gelato should come with such waffles.
To top it all off, friendly and charming service, and the owner is happy to answer any questions you have. Even in winter, you’ll be finding me here at Madame Spaghetti!

Madame Spaghetti has reinterpreted the spaghetti format for Aussie tastes, with everything made from natural ingredients on-site at the light-filled Port Melbourne gelateria. The modest menu, including vegan options, packs some great flavours, and it is fascinating to watch threads of gelati being extruded onto the plate. Good quality gelato squeezed out to look like spaghetti. It was unique and fun to watch and eat. We went for classic vanilla and topped it with honeycomb and brownie pieces. We stupidly went on a very cold night but it was so worth it. The server was super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for something sweet and different that won’t send you broke.
Amazing waffles - definitely one of the best I’ve had in Melbourne!
Such a cool concept for gelato! If your expecting a gimmick don’t worry as the taste and the consistency of the gelato and ice cream is still of high quality

Such a quirky dessert bar! Love the concept of it. It is a very family friendly place and kids will love it here!
There are different flavours to get. We came here for the limited edition Halloween-Kin which did not disappoint! It was an absolute delight watching it being assembled. The dessert consisted of pumpkin spiced gelato with cinnamon coated mealworms for the crunch and the reaction!
Definetly a fun place to visit and would return.
From the minute we walked in we were welcomed with a smile. The service by the staff here was great, friendly and accommodating.
I ordered two types of gelato and they were both delicious! The Halloween special was a spiced pumpkin flavour and had mealworms flavoured as cinnamon donuts as a topping. At first I was sceptical and didn’t want to try, but I did and it was actually kinda yum!
The other gelato was honey flavoured and delicious.
Well done guys, can’t wait to come back and try their waffles next time!

This is such an amazing dessert place!!! Such a creative concept that I had been dying to try for the longest time and when I finally did, I was certainly not disappointed!
The interior has a cool funky vibe, with a huge neon mural in the corner that lights up the whole place, it has music playing and the whole vibe is just very welcoming. I got to witness how they do the whole process from gelato to spaghetti and it was such an interesting concept- I have never seen anything like it before!
We got the gelato on top of freshly made waffles and I wholeheartedly loved every bit of the dish. Everything was absolutely delicious and the fact that the gelato was shaped like spaghetti just made it all the more exciting.
I highly recommend this place to anyone of any age- it should be an absolute must try on everyone’s list!

We tried a few of their spaghetti gelato:
- ‘Trophy Wife’ - salted caramel gelato with chocolate sauce, golden peanut nuggets and brownie bits.
- ‘Chris P. Bacon’ vanilla gelato with powdery with powdery bacon dust, crispy bacon bits and PB drizzle.
- ‘Death by Chocolate’ Chocolate gelato with chocolate sauce, brownies and hazelnut praline.
You can have your spaghetti gelato on top of a warm waffle as well! How good is that? I would say my favourite was their salted caramel gelato, it was soooo yumm!
ABSOLUTELY love the spaghetti gelato here at Madam Spaghetti. I ordered #2 of the winter special and WOW I was amazed. The salted caramel gelato (in the shape of spaghetti) was soo smooth and it is not overly sweet at all. I love how it is topped with CRUNCHY golden peanut nuggets. On top of all this, I love how the gelato is sprinkled with surprisingly yummy chunks of brownie bits! Honestly, in LOVE with the combo and WOULD DEFINITELY come back! Also, customer service was exceptional - I feel so welcomed as soon as I step foot in the store.

This place is so much fun!! From the décor, to the incredible service, to the cool machines making gelato into spaghetti shape!!
I tried the vegan option which was called Berry Bolognaise hehe. Watching it come out of the special machine was definitely a fun and unique experience. The strawberry sorbet was delicious of course!
Would definitely recommend visiting for the novelty value, and you won't be disappointed by the taste!

Absolutely loved the fun & clever creations by Madame Spaghetti which, to be clear, is NOT spaghetti flavoured gelato but rather gelato shaped like spaghetti. Apparently a popular concept in Germany but the MS team are the first to bring it to Australia.
They currently have 4 gelato flavours (vanilla, salted caramel, coconut & strawberry) with 8 different flavour combinations, half of which are their winter specials served on top of a perfectly crisp waffle.
We tried:
🍓Berry Bolognese (strawberry sorbet with fresh strawberries & pistachio crumb)
🥓Chris P Bacon (vanilla gelato with powdery bacon dust, crispy bacon bits & PB drizzle)
🏆Trophy Wife on waffle (salted caramel gelato with chocolate sauce, golden peanut nuggets & brownie bits)
🥥SPF 50+ (coconut gelato with tropical coulis, salted coconut flakes & zesty lemon dust)
I can honestly say that every flavour was amazing and the quality of the gelato is top notch. A lot of experimentation went into getting the consistency right and it is clear that so much thought has gone into each flavour combination as the elements are a bit daring (like the bacon dust) but work so well! My overall favourite is probably the Berry Bolognese or anything on top of the delicious waffles (which smell absolutely heavenly when coming) but you really can’t go wrong with any of them! Also super fun to watch the “spaghetti” come out of the machine so highly recommend for all younger gelato lovers too!
I’d love to see these guys in more portable locations like festivals and the night noodle market, and can’t wait to try their new flavours! Thanks for having us

Is it spaghetti or is it gelato? Well it’s both, it’s gelato which comes out of the machine in spaghetti like strands. Add some amazing & finely tuned toppings & you have a delicious dessert.
It was fascinating to watch the process & try the flavours. With winter upon us, Madame Spaghetti have also brought in hot waffles for the ‘it’s too cold for gelato’ customers.
With a tasty range of gelato flavours & clever toppings, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. If you’re looking for something different, this is the place to try. Thanks so much for having us.
Was captivated by this joint's spaghetti gelato concept, and had to go. We ordered #1 waffles and berry bolognese. The waffle was outstanding, soft, fluffy and ice cream wasnt overly sweet. The perfect balance. I loved it and it left me wanting more.
The berry bolgnese was great, spaghetti icecream with a nice touch of pistachios and strawberries.
Only criticism, in my opinion is the small portion size, which I'd prefer a tad bit bigger for its price.
Other than that, its delicious. Really glad i tried the joint and would 100% come back for more.

Delicious gelato shop attached to a restaurant in Port Melbourne.
A clean, simple interior with a beautiful neon sign of the logo.
I had never heard of gelato spaghetti before I’d been here, and I loved it! I really liked the theatrics of the gelato being pushed through a machine into a spaghetti shape. The taste of the gelato itself was delicious, and made in house. The spaghetti nature of the dish made the gelato a little bit lighter in terms of texture because of the strands (almost like aeration). The toppings are also made by hand in house where possible (including the bacon dust & brownies) which showed in the flavour.
I tried two of the spaghetti gelato on top of waffles, as well as a spaghetti gelato on its own.
#1 was a classic, can’t go wrong with nutella & strawberries.
#2 was so unique with the golden nuggets. I loved the decedent combination of salted caramel, chocolate, peanut butter & brownies.
The waffles on both #1 & #2 were a little soft for my liking, but helped to mop up any melted gelato.
The Crisp P Bacon was so unique, with the bacon dust. It was a sweet dessert with a slight savoury note which gave it a great balance.
The passionate owners were so friendly & I loved how I was educated about the origins of the special spaghetti gelato machines, as well as all the effort that goes into each components of the desserts. A must try for desserts in the area!
Delicious ice cream and a great concept. Love the strawberry sorbet and the waffles with the vanilla ice cream and strawberry. Staff are super lovely as well.
Possibly Melbourne’s most unique dessert venue we have right now. With either gelato or sorbet being strung out to look like spaghetti, it makes it a unique experience witnessing it as well as consuming it. The flavour isn’t lost at all during the process which makes it a visual and tasting wonder for the senses

😱Lizzie’s first impression: this new clever concept is opened right next door to the mummas cucina restaurant out in Port Melbourne. The gelato was delicious and looks great.
🍩Lizzie enjoyed: I loved how the gelato comes in the form of a spaghetti - not only that they have plenty of flavours that tastes delicious. I had the Nutella and nuts one which was in my opinion the best flavour for any sweets. It had the perfect crunch with Nutella drizzled on top and matched well with the waffle that balanced out the sweetness. It is such a clever dessert and it really left me coming back for more (even though I was really full already)! I also tried the bacon one with vanilla bean gelato and that was delicious - the crispiness and saltiness of the bacon balanced out the sweetness of the gelato and added some texture to the gelato and waffle. Highly recommend!!
🍅Lizzie did not enjoy: the waffle was a little too soft for my liking but the flavours were all there - I’m sure over time they will perfect the best crunch in the waffles.

Everyone knows spaghetti but have you heard of spaghetti gelato? Well you have now. This unique concept was brought down to Melbourne by the kind folk at Madame Spaghetti and it’s the talk of the town. It’s fun to see the gelato pressed out into strands of spaghetti and then topped with a sauce and sprinkled with bits and pieces. It’s something different and it’s totally delicious. You can get your spaghetti on a kick-ass waffle so you probably want to do that too.
New idea I haven’t seen before but the flavors were amazing! Very cool concept for the ice cream and they are paired so well with unique toppings. Definitely recommend a visit!
Amazing gelato in the shape of spaghetti. It was great for the kids AND adults. We all enjoyed it. It's obvious the team has spent countless days and nights crafting these gourmet creations. We are coming back next week.

Beautifully designed place, very intimate and vibrant space. The desserts were amazing, cannot recommend enough! Ordered the spaghetti icecream with waffles (I forgot the name but option #1 and #4 on the list), both versions were amazing and the experience was that much fun! Icecream was amazing and the waffles even better. Presentations was fantastic and well priced for the experience! Overall a 10/10 and would recommend for a cute evening icecream date! :)

Delicious ice cream and really friendly duo running the place. Trophy wife was bomb and chocolate was tasty too. 1 suggestion.. just more street signage when the other restaurant isn’t open because we didn’t know if you were open! Either way..Will be back for more soon.
I heard about this place, and one I found it, it was absolutely amazing. I thought maybe the gelato would be not very good as I'm not a huge fan, but the gelato with the waffle and the nutella was the perfect combination! 10/10 would recommend going again! They are also pretty filling.
