It was school holidays so Kiplings was busy however, despite the social distancing they managed to keep the line moving whilst keeping everyone safe. Good takeaway coffee.
Famous for their pies. They have won awards - silver and bronze - for their meat pies. Coffee is good too. Sit outside under their umbrellas and enjoy their excellent coffee.
Lots of cakes pies sandwiches great bakery. Just had a fingerbun with butter, so delicious
Always worth a stop especially for their donuts which often sellout early (but you can phone ahead for your order) and their cornish pasties.
The bakery is ALWAYS busy. Fortunately it has convenient parking (even room for caravans), tables and seating, also a toilet.
Totally recommend.
Our wait time was self imposed as we struggled to decided which of the incredible pies and pastries we would choose.
Seethed on a bacon, egg and cheese pie which was incredible. A beef mince and potato pie which was packed with flavor, and a cheese and spinach pasty which was a-max-ING!
I have a honey stick still to eat, but I have no doubt that will be amazing as well - even if it has mock cream!
I may be driving an hour one way from now on just to get pie 🥧
A quick brekkie stop on our Yorke Peninsula roadtrip led us to Kipling's and might I say it was worth it. Fresh and hot pasties/ pies. We went for the veggie and cheese. A tad bit bland in terms of the filling (personal choice though) but the pastry was so flaky it made up for it. Their pastry selection looked delectable but we didn't try any so maybe one for our 'come back to try other things'' list.
Had pasties and cake. Yummy! Good service, nice ladies behind the counter. Lots of road works made it a little difficult to access. But that won't be there too long
Best bakery , chicken satay pies are to die for,and my husband loves the pasties, when we are travelling that way, we always stop, and on the way back I buy some of each for our freezer,, the staff are all very lovely 🙂🙂
