Awesome food and fantastic service. We loved that the straws are pasta, such a great idea that is eco friendly! We sat in the back garden which had a great atmosphere and was quieter than the main dining area. We'll definitely be back!

Love our Port Pizza Home of choice. They have a killer view of the Bay, friendly service, a great online order portal and delicious food. I'm a fan!

5 stars for the food and 5 stars for the staff!!! Since discovering this gem a couple of years ago it is now our go to place for date night (we only wish you could get there more often). Each meal we have tried has been delicious! We even got a pizza takeaway for our babysitter who know trecks from Armstrong Creek whenever she can for the pizza. You can taste the pride and love in each meal. Thank you Pizzeria, we are big fans!

Only wish we lived closer to enjoy more often! The takeaway we get from the team at Pier Front is always fantastic. Everything we've had from their menu (pizza, pasta, gnocchi, seafood) on a number of occasions on our trips to the beach is nothing short of wonderful. Fresh, full of flavour, perfectly cooked and truly authentic. Think old Nonna's recipes handed down through generations with modern flair. The team are friendly and service great. We have discovered Portarlington and over the last year we have been travelling from Melbourne enjoying this little quaint town. There are a lot of lovely eateries however we have found a gem. Pier Front Pizzeria is a family business that stands out for all the right reasons delivering amazing authentic Italian food and wine, overlooking the bay and a lovely view of the You Yangs. The business operator John is very serious about his little enterprise valuing efficiency and quality. Having 1 of only 3 rotating pizza ovens on the Peninsula. They are delicious! The customer service received is always warm and efficient and the staff are always welcoming. Thank you, John, Erin and the team. Look forward to seeing you again soon. Great place all around. 5 stars. Highly recommend

Excellent food! We had originally planned to have a take away meal. Decided last minute to eat in. After checking out back staff had managed to fit us in. Great service from everyone involved. We sat outside in their garden area. This is a covered marquee type room. So no need to worry about the weather. Plenty of heaters around kept us warm and toasty. The food! Oh wow I had the pescatore pizza. I can tell you, I was not disappointed. This was delicious, well priced and generous with the seafood. Even topped with mussels in shell. Definitely worth a visit. Make sure you ask for the Garden area if possible. They even have a clever solution to plastic straws. Using pasta as straws instead. How good!

Came last week and was a bit disapointed for the amount of time we had to wait for for food and nearly 1 hour just for our drinks (kids weren't happy about that, they were very thirsty), and barely noticed by staff to call them. But since then have been back and WOW! I was very impressed by the quick service, friendliness of staff and owner. Food was fantastic, (loved the gnocchi), pizza's nice and thin just like a real italian pizza should be, perfect, everthing else too. All was deliciuos and i can honestly say the best place to eat in Portalington. Keep it up guys, congratulations on this new chapter of your lives and very happy to have you here in town to bring the authentic Italian food. Fantastic!

We had the Gluten Free pizzas take away on the beach a week ago and they were the best GF pizzas we have ever eaten! Last night we went to the restaurant, again the food was exceptional. Their special of stuffed chicken breast was divine and everything was so fresh and beautifully cooked. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Sensational first night at Pier Front Pizzeria.I so wanted to lick my plate after finishing my Penne Napolitana as the friendly atmosphere inside the inviting venue felt just like home.The dessert pizzas are scrumptious with the Arancini balls a definite on the menu with a planned return visit.Friendly hosts John and Erin who along with their staff love to engage with their patrons.Highly recommended.Oh a say gidday to Paddy the Pelican on the way in....xox

So Amazing!!! The best place to eat in Portarlington. Wood fire pizzas were to die for and I have never had the kids wanting to lick the bowl clean after eating the spaghetti bolognese. Can't wait to go back.

It's official! Pier Front Pizzeria have the best mussels in Portarlington. And in a town known for it's mussels, that's saying something! To top it off the warm and welcoming atmosphere made for a wonderful evening. Thanks guys, we'll be back.

Was told our food will be a 1.5-2hr wait which we were happy to wait. We asked them to call us when the food was ready. <br/>We waited over an hour and decided to see how much longer it would be and the food was waiting there and we were served with cold food. We asked them why we never received a call and they said it’s was only sitting there for 10 minutes.. food was very cold and not cheap.

What delight dining here tonight. Excellent service and the Italian food was as authentic as you get in any expensive city restaurant. Recommend the Mollo seafood pasta. John the owner even came around for a pleasant chat. Will definitely come back.

We got the verdura and the margherita with vegan cheese. The vegan cheese was $5 per pizza which is a bit rich but when the pizza is such good quality we really didn't mind. The food is delicious and view of the water from the outside seating is stunning. We were surprised to find vegan dinner in Portarlington, let alone of such good quality!

Had a vegetarian pizza. Fantastic. Great thickness and crunchy crust. Great cheese to sauce ratio. Generous with vegetables. Overall a real contender for fantastic pizza. Mates had the meat pizzas and appeared happy, but probably not to my level.

Love the pizza from here. Top customer service too, the family-run business really cares about their customers. We’ve been back many times for the yummy pizza and will continue to do so. Thank you!

Awesome pizzas! Tasty and authentic pizzas, prompt service and the calamari was good too. Ambience could be A little better but overall enjoyable.

One word.....Bland <br/>5 out of 7 thought exactly the same. <br/>Nothing fluffy about the fried chips that came out on the Parma dish. Crunchy on the outside and chalky/powdery on the inside....Let down, cause chips go hand in hand with the Parma<br/>

So delicious!!! We've eaten in and had takeaway. Staff so effortlessly altered meals for my dietary requirements. The pizza was amazing! As new locals who are foodies it's been hard adjusting to a town with minimal good food choices. Thank goodness for this place!

I went with my 3 young children and husband. The restaurant had a great feel to it and the staff were really friendly. We had great pizza and calamari.

Absolutely fantastic food! The gnocchi con pesto is probably the best our family has ever had and the pizza was sensational. Service was fast and friendly even though the restaurant was very busy. Dessert sizes were quite generous and of the same high quality. Our family will definitely be coming back next long weekend.

Amazing wood fired pizza and very authentic al dente pasta! Shared the calabrese pizza and the fettuccine ox tail ragu - both were delicious! Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
