Super fast service w exceptional views. Nice spot watching the birds on nearby trees, and boats comings and goings. Good all-day breakfast/brunches available. Licensed. Happy-hour Cocktails look inviting, but too early for us to try...

Love this place for breakfast. If it's a nice day cross you fingers for a spot on the balcony looking out over the water! Fantastic food and excellent coffee, very happy regulars! Be warned, the scrambled eggs (delicious) serving will feed a family of 10!!

Disappointing and not worth it Stopped at Edina Waterfront Cafe this morning and decided to order some breakfast. I should have kept walking to the pier. Ordered Smashed avo and coffee. Smashed avo cost $23 and would have cost extra for an egg. I asked if I could pay by cash and was told only if I had the correct amount, so paid by card. Breakfast arrived and you can make up your own mind if it was worth $23. Finished breakfast and still waiting for the coffee, so decided to ask for a refund. Instead of a credit on card I was given change. Next time I will certainly be walking the extra distance to get my moneys worth, plus the coffee.

Today I had the best prawn dish I've had in my life! It was just the comfort food I needed that hit every taste bud on my tongue...Even the salad came to life in my mouth as it too was bursting with flavours. The service was on point... friendly, polite staff and I did not wait long for my my food. Well done and thank you! I will see you again soon :)

25min for takeaway coffees on a Friday morning when there are less than 10 people in the Cafe with 3 front of house staff. How appalling. 2 staff pretending to be wiping benches rather than actually being helpful and 1 person making coffee, all the while all 3 having leisurely conversations and ignoring their customers sitting down. While I was waiting for takeaways these customers had to come inside to ask for someone to serve them Edit: Reply to owner. Not sure what footage you refer to but I never sat down. Perhaps instead of trying to judge who I am and rudely accusing me of doing the wrong thing, you just take the feedback on board. I have no doubt your other customers happy, that's why we decided to try your business. However, from my experience it was not worth the wait at all. As a side note, I'm well aware how cafes are run and how to place an order. Spent 15 years managing plenty of high volume cafes and restaurants, turning over takeaway coffee significantly faster than the wait today. So please don't be condescending and just take the review on board for future. Thanks

Possibly the best steak sandwich I have ever tasted! It was absolutely delicious! The meat was literally melting in my mouth. The egg was perfectly cooked, not too runny or underdone. The staff were very pleasant, and most importantly the views were spectacular.

Thank you for making this morning's birthday breakfast so wonderful. I apologise for not leaving a review sooner as we have always had a fabulous time when we visit. The chefs eggs Benedict is on point and the coffee art made me feel very fancy. Excellent customer service as per usual. Thanks again guys !!

Poached egg, bacon and tomato breakfast served by friendly staff on a sunny verandah with sea views. What better way to spend an autumn morning? Food was well prepared (non salty/greasy) and ingredients good quality. Credit card surcharge on a Tuesday morning was a slight downer - not something I've encountered on this road trip so far.

It was a lovely afternoon lunch with my husband and we ordered 2 sets of calamari and a serve of fries with garlic aioli. Service was fine. The food came and we were BITTERLY disappointed. The calamari was mediocre. The fries tasted like Maccas fries. But what was off putting was that we found a thick strand of black hair buried in the bottom half of the garlic aioli. I felt sick in the stomach looking at it because I actually had consumed some of it already. We showed it to the waitress and she replaced it. She was very curt and didn’t say anything much about it. But I don’t think we can eat anymore of that again. We mentioned it again to the cashier upon leaving and she said we could have told them and they would replace it (As if we are going to continue eating it after we find a hair in it). I find them very indifferent to my plight that I had consumed food contaminated with some human hair. Not asking for my money back but they could have been more sympathetic and apologetic about it. They probably didn’t want others to know about it. I wont go back again. Diners please be wary of the garlic aioli. Thanks but no thanks.

Amazing!! The coffee is so good, just as good as my fav coffee spots in Melbourne! The food was fresh and full of flavor. I had the smashed avo. Can’t wait to get back there!

Had lunch yesterday with some friends. We all ordered mushroom soup, best I’ve ever had. We were very naughty as someone talked us into having cake. Goo thing we shared this. The front of house staff are great and open to suggestions. Get behind this new venue.

This is a cute place for coffee and cake but if you're here for breakfast it's very overpriced. Portion sizes are not great for the price. The food itself is nice but it would be nice to see more menu options or different specials. We do come here for coffee alot but were quickly reminded why we don't eat out here

Since new ownership has come in, the place has picked up in terms of its decor and gusto. But if you would like to grab a coffee and feel welcome and not just an inconvenience, this is not your place. I watched and the owner told someone off for doing a crossword in the cafe’s paper and another person for using their paper too long (given that they came for a coffee). This place has a gorgeous outlook. The food is ok but over priced, which you wouldn’t mind paying if your experience was a consistently good one. The coffee is ok. The service feels stressed and the owner is short, anxious and rude. Family have a house in the area and we now think twice about bothering to go either in the peak or the down time. Coming from Melbourne and seeing this service we are put off by this place. 😢

Overall very disappointing meal. We sat at a table of 8 and the meals didn’t all come out together the table was missing cutlery and the portion size for the price was ridiculous. You’re looking at $6 worth of salmon in that photo. Upon asking for clarification I was greeted with a smug sarcastic answer.

Great service from the two ladies who own and operate this pleasing little cafe. With views down to the waterfront and across the bay the seating inside and outside adds to the experience. We both had the chicken schnitzel burgers, beautifully marinated and served with just right shoestring chips and a mayo. The coffees that followed were ideal. We shall certainly return.

Great coffee, wonderful baristas, lovely outdoor seating. Service well below average. Customer service leaves alot to be desired. Try elsewhere for friendlier service.

If you can order the mussels, ORDER THE MUSSELS! Service is excellent. Fettuccini and risotto are good. The view is superb. Would go back again if I’m in the area.

The brownies are to die for !! They felt like a chocolate cloud that melt in your mouth. And the views were wonderful too. Everything looked perfect.

The menu has enough creativity backed by great flavor. Cleaned by breakfast bowl in no time. Very memorable!
