During my morning routine hunt for takeaway coffee whilst on vacation, I came across POC on Google Maps. A few reviews mentioned they were happy with the coffee so I went for it. When we arrived it was already bustling so this was a good sign, when we entered a flurry of people followed in soon after.
There was a delay in placing an order so staff started taking orders from the queue which was fantastic! Friendly and prompt service, wasn't waiting long for my coffee at all. Well done team.

We were lucky to grab a window side table in this airy establishment where I grabbed a mug of mocha and a burger with the lot. The mocha was extra large so I was surprised to see that they sell an even bigger cup which they call a 'bucket'. The burger with the lot had a slight twist: grilled pineapple. I personally liked the caramelized pineapple with the egg, meat and cheese combo; it was savoury with a slight sweetness like a fruity chutney. Allround, this place has good food. They sell a lot of it too. I counted 70 something items on the menu, not including the cakes in the stall. Come to Port of Call, they treat you well and you will leave feeling full.
All I need to say is that the place is very busy just after they open and based on that you would assume that it is a very popular place excluding the scenery which is a very nice line at that the meals are very nice even though I only had a breakfast meal but also their coffee is nice and strong which I had a Baileys affogato
We had the vanilla slice and the sticky caramel pudding with hot chocolate drinks ...cakes were beautifully fresh and absolutely tastey ...hot choclates were very chocolaty and creamy but more importantly most yummi....the place had a huge lineup but was well worth the wait ..do recommend this place for sure...happy hot chocolate drinks
They were very helpful and very obligin. We were there for a late lunch, one person in wheelchair they moved and rearranged the table.and chairs so we could fit in. Nothing was too much trouble despite the fact they were extremely busy. Thank you staff we'll be back. Also food was very yummy.👌
Best coffee in Portland and outstanding customer service. Had a delicious avocado toast for breakfast.
