Great ambiance, but food isn’t of that quality. There was no chicken items available when we dined in. Dumplings are good though.

Very good food and service. The atmosphere was nice. Would definitely come back.
Used to be great, now it’s awful. Food not fresh, service so bad it’s borderline hostile. Dumplings are not fresh, per photo there are piles of pre made dumplings piled up waiting to steam.
Good dumplings however the city venue is superior and has significantly faster service.
Food was great. Service a bit slow but it was Valentines Day and they were run off their feet. I had to wait 40 minutes for a drink. Nice touch with the red rose on each table for everyone to take home. Food was fantastic.
I have been a customer at this place for the last ten years. Their customer service has gone down the drain. They are more interested in getting out their uber orders than looking after a seated repeat customer. Unbelievable how you can run a good standing customer base to the ground. Will never com
We stumbled upon Hu Tong when trying to find SOMEwhere open in Prahran on a Monday night!
It was, in the end, a regular Chinese restaurant, but MORE delicious at every step. I now know that there are degrees of delicious; this restaurant is superlative.
