Review Little Hawk - Prahran

Excellent coffee. Good service. Tasty chilli scrambled eggs but not very spicy at all. Could use a lot more chilli in my opinion. The chorizo was spicier than the eggs... the pumpkin bread was fabulous. The last page of the menu thanking the suppliers was a nice touch.

One of the best smash avo’s I’ve had Plus awesome coffee

Absolutely fantastic sandwiches. Arguably top 10 in Melbourne. Have gone back so many times and would recommend. The Mexican Chicken, Rueben and Cuban are top 3. Keep up the good work👍🏻

Great coffee and friendly staff. Always welcoming with a smile. Every time I've ordered take away I've not had to wait long. The eggs with fetta and chilli are very tasty and filling. Am yet to try the sweets, there's a huge, alluring selection of home made cakes and biscuits. Look for the white picket fence! Dog friendly too!

Lovely little cafe, had a coffee to takeaway. & I’d have to say that it was an amazing one! The staff were really efficient, there wasn’t much of a wait. I’ve not tried any of the food but will definitely be back :)

Friendly staff and awesome coffee even on a super hot day. Carrot cake was stale though! I know it is the holiday season but when many previous reviews talk about fresh produce it was a shame to get a stale cake. :(

Love this place. Great food and coffee. It's worth a visit just for the pies and sausage rolls which are something special.

My first visit to Little Hawk this morning. I met the two lovely owners, and had an amazing bacon and egg Brioche and coffee. The food looks amazing, and the decor is great. I can't wait to have a lunchtime staff meeting there.

Just had the Kiewa Valley mushroom salad with slow cooked lamb and prune tagine and it was out of this world! Coffee is excellent. Love the interior design.

Coming down to check it out soon, but knowing the expertise of these two fabulous ladies past exploits, it will be awesome!

Sandwiches are another level of awesomeness! Shudder to think how many cubans and rubens ive had. Beautiful sourdough bread perfectly toasted, generous fillings, delicious meats, sauces and finely sliced pickles. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Enough said

A really cute and nice little cafe. The service was lovely and it really made you feel comfortable. The food there was nice and I liked all the options you had to have with your eggs. This place is very simple and it deserves to be more popular than it is.

BEST SAUSAGE ROLL I EVER DID HAVE!
Service was impeccable and I really felt comfortable and welcome!
Thanks to Ali, Hannah and the rest of the team at little hawk, my day was made!
Will return ASAP!

The best ham and cheese toasties you'll ever taste!! All the sandwich are delicious and packed filled with flavor, very reasonably priced for the amazing quality ingredients that are used. Highly recommended.

Best sandwiches in the area!! I buy my lunch here every day. Made with love and quality ingredients. Gorgeous breakfast and great coffee too.

Absolutely amazing toasties! I don't think I have ever had a better tasting toastie than the ones at Little Hawk! Such a great little cafe with heaps of lunch options - the veggie panini is my personal favourite! Definitely worth a visit!

I love this cafe. Seriously good food made with love and beautiful ingredients. The soups are some of the best ever, the moussaka is out of this world and the breakfasts are beautiful and generous. My husband reckons the chicken sandwiches are the best in the world and my kids feel the same about the cheese toasties. Staff and owner are gorgeous. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch or breakfastt next time you are in Hawksburn Village.

SO yummy and fresh and happy is the food. Thank you for delightful experience.
Polite workers and fast service. The eggs are to die for.

Best Almond Lattes in Toorak/Hawksburn/Prahran area and top 5 in Melbourne!
I love this place because it feels like you walk in and you've got a cafe full of friends (both staff and regular customers).
I eat simply so I usually get smashed avocado on toast. I just tried to new Power Bowl with Quinoa, Avocado, and Spinach, Sweet Potatoes and that was really filling and delicious.

My friend and I attend Little Hawk on an almost daily basis and honestly could not rate the food, service and value more highly! The food always provides the most fresh and exciting ingredients, tasty to the max!! Prepared by the greatest staff always willing to ensure you enjoy your dining experience, I would recommend to anyone and everyone if you're around the Hawksburn village put Little Hawk number one on your to do list! Despite the very untrue comments on the scrambled eggs I can say without shadow of a doubt I eat these almost everyday and they are the most delicious, fresh, top quality and best value for money scrambled eggs in Melbourne!
The 'Hawksburn Smoothie' is so smooth it puts Michael Buble to shame.
The 'granola' is so healthy and nutritious it should generate a Medicare rebate.
Lastly, the famous 'Chicken Sandwich'- free range, fresh and fabulous! Again, despite the ridiculous comments posted these true gems practically walk out the door due to popular demand- straight from the kitchen to your plate you are guaranteed the highest (and safest) quality food in Melbourne.
Please read this review and take serious note- because Little Hawk truly does 'Fly High' above the rest!

I liked this local cafe. It was bright and bustling with food on the menu supplemented by refrigerated specials and salads. My salmon pattie with salad was generous and delicious. Thanks guys. Then, we popped into Officine Zero for the best coffee in the village.

Despite others leaving bad reviews, I quite like Little Hawk. They do really good coffee. There's lots of competition in the area so they compete well. The food is good too. But it is the coffee that keeps me coming back.
Great Expectations :)
I love Little Hawk! Any issues a past reviewer may have with chicken sandwiches are obliterated by the fact that they are made SO fresh, and sell out every. single. day. I regularly miss out!

Little Hawk offers pretty big value for such a small spot: the cost v portion is really generous and the brekkies are huge compared to other Melbourne cafes.

The menu has a big selection, the staff are super lovely, I even tried their catering once which was tailored to my event and so organised & delish. These guys have single handedly ruined cafes for me forever, because now I'm constantly let down when I have to go somewhere else!

Also, they have a complete open front so the ambiance is super light & airy. Very comfy for solo missions or lunch dates alike. Definitely worth visiting the village for this one.

Really tasty food. Relaxed vibes and good service. Really good value for money $20 for a coffee and a beautiful breakfast/lunch. Highly recommend ricotta and avocado on sourdough. Thanks guys

I'm not sure if this is allowed to write here but chicken sandwiches are sitting out unrefridgerated for ages. Comment from the manager was "They don't sit long there as they get sold fast" well last I checked chicken at room temp isn't good - they were there for 30 minutes or more while I was there over the weekend. Lovely coffee though and gorgeous in the sun. Just very worried about the sandwich situation.

Frozen roll. Bought a bacon, egg and smokey BBQ roll, the roll had either been frozen or just come out of the fridge. Was terrible the bacon was so cold the roll was so hard . If u enjoy pre prepared frozen rolls, this is the place for you.
No thanks never again.

WOW food and awesome coffee. This cafe is a stand out. The eggs are amazing and the coffee a class act. On last visit I had toasted breaky sandwich, juice and 2 coffees. All were exceptional and the girls are friendly as! Top marks.

Little gem with lots of love. Found that gem when I was just walking around after my exam in Caulfield hospital (was a long walk but I had way too much time:). Got a green smoothie and a green salad with a fritter. The salad was probably the best one I have ever had. It didn't look that big portion but they must use good quality ingredients as I struggled finishing it. I just got soooo full. Anyway, will definitely go back when I am in the neighborhood again. Ended up having a take away coffee also and there was much love put in the bean roast

Warm friendly service, fresh delicious muffins. Great coffee in an inviting space.

Warm, friendly service and delicious coffee and menu choices makes Little Hawk my favourite in the village for lunch! Special mentions must go to the amazing poached chicken sandwich and the carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting... Salivating just thinking about it! Keep up the good work, Little Hawk!

Awesome coffee!. Walking through Prahran, you're often spoilt for choice when it comes to coffee shops, but Little Hawk was the best choice I made all day! excellent friendly service (which can sometime be hard to find) and a casual feel. Not to mention exquisite Tim Adams specialty coffee.

No Toilet? Are you f**king kidding me?. At first glance it seems Little Hawk positions itself as a 'drop in' cafe, with open sliding doors and coffee and cabinet food on offer. But considering it has tables and bench seats to eat in, not to mention the abundance of newspapers and magazines, this suggests they'd prefer their customers to stay for the long haul. Don't get too comfy... as with me I later found out as I got up to leave that they don't have a toilet to use. Isn't that illegal? "Where is the closest one?" I ask, "BP or McDonalds" the woman replies. It was no great loss as I ended up going to the cafe directly next door and they allowed me to use there's. But seriously it's not good enough little Hawk, and whilst I'm here my sandwich was bland so pick up your game.
