Review Pablo's Escoburgers - Prahran

I'm from Colombia but I understand that the name is just for business purposes so I am not mad about it and I do not judge the place just for the controversial character name. So here is my opinion about the place: Creative food presentation, El Patron is a good burger is tasty but DEA it would be better without the donut, great bar, friendly staff, nice music😎, delicious cocktails and mocktail they surprise you accordingwith which type of liquor do you like.

The Killer was good. Wagyu was not as tasty as expected but still relatively great burger. It was drowning in sauce and bun was not crisped to my liking.

Excellent burgers. In my opinion, best burgers in Melbourne. No overpowering flavours.

LITERALLY THE PERFECT BURGER 🍔 I honestly have nothing negative to say about my burger experience at Pablo Escoburgers. We sat outside in the cozy curb-side enclosed seating which was very comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly and we didn’t need to wait too long for our burgers Now for the actual burger review: I ordered the cheeseburger(first burger on the menu). Presentation was picture-perfect. The bun was so soft and melted in the mouth. Meat was juicy and right amount of thickness, the signature sauce went perfectly. Burger held together so well and I enjoyed it from start until end. Price point was a little bit up there ($16 without chips) but it was honestly a neat burger.

Great restaurant and coffee shop where the food is fast and filling. Grab a quick coffee at the front coffee shop or sit down for a meal in the restaurant; you can also choose to eat at the tables immediately out front on the food path. A cool and very atmospheric and Pablo Escobar look and feel. Try their Reefer hemp vegetarian burger for something different - A good filling burger with a souvenir hundred dollar bill used as a reefer inserted in its top bun. You can try either beef or chicken burgers with her just as good value and filling. The menu is quite extensive and well catered for hungry customers Very friendly and efficient staff and the meals are delivered promptly. Covid screening procedures and social distancing are in place to make your visit safe and pleasant.

Rubbish name for a business. No one is naming their business after an unnamed character in the mid last century. As someone who has been personally affected by this malicious character’s awful contribution to Colombian society, public image and any following social reputation. The conception, production and mobilisation of merchandise which carry my country’s suffering with ignorant humour does not have any positive effect for the local communities that have been fleeing this type of negative rhetoric and real consequences that he has brought to my family and thousands of others which still mourn his villainous and corrupt actions. One star sense of humour (would give zero stars if I could), five stars ignorance and lack of cultural sensitivity.

The hamburger has been the best I have eaten, really recommend it in special DEA. Don't recommend onion rings but the rest was perfect. Maybe they can improve in how they receive the clients because we were waiting to be seated but after we realized that we have to order in counter.

Pablo’s Escoburgers Pros: 🧒Staff are super friendly and efficient 🥘Best burger I’ve had for a long time. The chicly was crispy on the outside and juicy in the centre. Full of flavour and seasoned to perfection. Make sure you try the loaded fries. 💰Prices are low to medium, you are however getting top quality 🚗 Parking is ok depending what time you go 🍺 Make sure you check out their secret bar in the back

Best burger I have ever had. So good that we ordered in during lockdown so my partner could try it too and it was just as delicious delivered to our home as it was eating at the restaurant.

Ordered the Patron and Fresco Emilio burger. The Patron was absolutely delicious, the meat was cooked perfectly and it was moist! The Fresco Emilio was average, the chicken was a bit stringy. They unfortunately did not have the KFCocaine available not did they have the beer I opted for in the menu (the stone and wood on tap). I was also initially denied my Zomato gold 1+1 offer which was a bit disappointing but this got rectified. <br/><br/>I found the service to be below average, was not served cutlery or serviettes with the burgers, had to ask for them. <br/><br/>Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance, the fun menu and the Patron burger for adhering to the 'Pablo's Escoburger' theme! Not sure if I'd give it a second visit though.

The food is average, actually is not that good just tasteless fast food trying to mock about the past of a country, I don't blame them because they only want to be popular and don't care about the customers. Also the staff and specially the owner is really rude and racist. Avoid this place, I don't recommend it at all.

The experience as Pablo Escoburgers was pleasant. Our takeaway order took less than 20 minutes to complete. <br/><br/>We ordered Patron and Billetico, both burgers had amazing roasted brioche buns <br/>I am a fan of the double wagyu Patron, as the taste was more prominent and flavourful. The Billetico was more on the average side, but I still enjoyed it.

Very generic burger without a special sauce and a very sugary brioche. A good $5 more than anywhere else.<br/><br/>Mac and cheese was dry and bland and not cheap either.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the quality of food is from Pablo's. Every single element has been thought out to complement the others. A well designed menu with quality ingredients.

The patrone burger was delicious, well cooked beef and plenty of sauce and flavour between a soft brioche bun. A line to rack with a note too 😂 chicken and waffles was very disappointing hence the 3 stars. Waffles were soggy and i didn't end up eating them. Chicken was decent though, nothing incredible. Highly recommend the patrone burger and peanut butter shake.

As a big fan of bratwurst, I really enjoyed the “Carlitos Way” hotdog. The sauerkraut was great too.<br/><br/>Cool place and they go full on with the theme with some funny, dark humour in the names and descriptions on the menu. Go in with a lightheaded attitude and you’ll have a good time.

Seen the hype about pablos online and thought I'd better give it a suss! Gave the reefer burger a try and while the green burger freaked me a little it was damn delicious. Mega shakes didn't dissapoint either. The whole theme was wicked and took me back to my travelling days. Well done pablo's!

Shame you would use a killer/drug lords name to promote your business! You are playing with the emotions of millions of people who suffered at the hands of this person and to you this is all a joke!

The next best thing after being on a coke bender for 3 days is a delicious burger from Pablos where I get to enjoy 2 things I love the most at the same time. COCAINE AND BURGERS! What a great concept.

Pablo's might just be the most outrageous burger joint I've been to. Came for the laugh, stayed for taste! Behind the controversial brand are solid burgers and fries that taste amazing. Definitely will be back!

After seeing the Gringo Hotdog featured on hotdogs of melbourne, we decided to give it a go, even if their marketing is a bit controversial 😂<br/><br/>The hotdog did not disappoint! Excellent quality sausage and bun and the mustard had a nice kick to it as well. Also noteworthy are the potato gems, the little pouch of "powder" is a fun play on the whole theme of the restaurant. <br/><br/>Touche, guys, it's a really fun setup, would come back again.

Love their angle with the venue and Pablo. It's more than a gimmick with the quality of the burgers and sides being spot on!!

Very nice burgers. A bit dark inside but outside is perfect on sunny day that would not be very hot.

Great vibe, chips are just okay, but you go for the burger and boy does it deliver! Generous size and beautifully cooked.

Great service. The staff behind the bar were really nice. The menu has a lot of cool themed burgers. The burgers were very taste, we tried the Parton and the Fresco. The bbq sauce in the beef burger was really tasty, the fried chicken burger was really nice but couldn’t really taste the jalapeño mayo, lacked a bit of flavour. Chips were great and the special salt they give is really tasty

The burger that has created the most controversy is probably the best burger on the menu at Pablos. The Patron has it all, 2 x Beef, 2 x Cheese, Crispy Bacon, Lettuce, Pickles, BBQ Sauce, and Cartel Sauce. (minus the tomato of course). Soft patties, well-balanced sauce combination and a good size to satisfy the burger craving. If you are feeling a little extra hungry, add fried chicken and grab a side of loaded fries. Worthy of a visit!

Fantastic Burgers and Shakes. Came here because of social media and all my expectations were met. The team behind the venue are very funny characters which is very easily seen in the name and theme. They back it up with great food which is why this is a winning venue. Not sure if the theme is for everyone, but if you enjoy a quality feed, then look past the joke.

Delicious burger bar just off Chapel Street. The restaurant and bar itself is through the back of a cafe which is quite cool. It's dark and cool, nicely stocked bar and quirky cocktail menu. We tried the Narcos and Patron burger, both were delicious and full of flavour.

If you're looking to get your burger 'fix', this is the place! When you look beyond the quirk, there's a lot of passion and quality behind their food. Burgers are well made with juicy patties and a Mexican twist. Loaded fries and hotdogs taste great too. Food minion approves!

Quirky restaurant off Chapel Street. The restaurant itself is hidden behind a cute tiny cafe, it's dark and cosy, staff are nice and cool and food is great! We ordered the Patron Burger &  Narcos burger, these were super indulgent, dirty in the good kind of way and super delicious.  The loaded fries topped in tomato salsa, feta cheese and secret sauce were also delicious.

After seeing the concept of the burgers online, it was honestly a must try. The burgers were incredibly tasty and they certainly know what they're doing regarding the flavours. Top place.

These guys have got it going on. Yes, the concept is fun but I'm talking about the burgers people. Quality beef, generous servings and the fries are exactly how I like them!

Amazing burgers with lines and note. Mushroom burger was very delicous. Heaps of flavour but lacking in size compared to the other burgers. Onion rings tasted great with the garlic powder <br/>

Cold Food. Terrible presentation. Tiny serving sizes for fries and onion rings. Don’t waste you’re money, go elsewhere for a much better burger with flavor, and better servings. This was a TERRIBLE choice! Lesson learnt

Meat is made from the worst meat available on the market, flat, no taste.<br/><br/>The French fries had absolutely no taste and were cold. The burger was horrible - the bun is small, the cheese had no flavor and the meat wasn't ground, it was frozen minced meat with a bad after taste. And it was over priced . I could have had a much better burger from a fast food chain for half the price. Avoid this restaurant and spend your money on something that has taste and value

My experience of dining at Pablo Escoburgers exceeded my initial expectation. The “Patron” burger was delicious. It wasn’t too heavy or bloating, the ingredients complemented each other and the bun was soft yet it did not fall apart. The hot chips were freshly cooked, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and the topping of salas tasted lovely. Staff were polite and friendly. Highly recommended to those who want to enjoy savoury dining with polite staff and an awesome environment and affordable, scrumptious food.

El Patron burgers was so delicious. I think the person who came up with the idea of this burger was very smart. It was a different experience having this burger on my plate. However, I think they only had one standard size of chips. So after finished this burger I couldn’t finish even half of my chips. Maybe having a variety in size of chips portions would help reduce wastage. <br/><br/>My most sincere review about the meal I ordered , not about Colombia. <br/><br/>

That's a nutritious burger. Fine and tasty steamed hams. Burgers and fries and tasty food i wish they were closer to where i live. I recommend these burgers to all burger conosoirs
