Review Revolver Upstairs - Prahran

An eclectic and retro cool place for casual dining with an Asian fusion menu. Food was amazing with a strong Thai influence. Taking me back to the disco eras while dining, with the deco.

First time dining at revs, Thai food was outta control. Much like the many times visiting for music over the years! Recommend the pork belly red curry, quantity of pork is plentiful!

Apparently all the crazy stuff happens after I leave, what is never too late. I really like this place. Great place for casual drinks after work and for a nice well cooked dinner. The food is very nice and i never ordered something that I didn’t like. The cocktails are also very good. The staff is always friendly, energetic and efficient.

This place is overrated and not worth the $40 entry fee. The whole place is too warm and they need air cons on, too dark; it was overcrowded I bumped into many people, there should be lines for the bars instead of everyone just lining up wherever. People kept shoving and pushing at the bar

coziest, comfiest, friendliest, grungiest, most beautiful place on earth. nowhere else can replicate this place, no matter the budget. I will die here someday, and I have no doubt they will dispose of my body in the upmost respectful way. couldn't think of a better place to cook it. thanks for everything

I Have been to much better places with free entry as opposed to paying $30. Very dark to the point that I couldn’t see which card I was paying with. The music is only okay if you’re on it and the staff was slow and moody even tho it wasn’t busy. Pretty lame if you ask me.

The food is just amazing and the service great. I didn't enjoy how loud the music was, hard to have a conversation over dinner, but that's just me. I can't wait to go back and try more!

A huge fan of revolver upstairs and decided to get some dinner with a friend visiting from Canberra and hoped for her to get a taste of Melbourne but sadly felt like it was our worst food experience. Last night .. The service was really poor and felt like we were placed at the invisible corner where we had to request for water multiple times, drinks were forgotten and were remade almost mid dinner.. The pork ribs felt like old meat and had a stale flavour to it and served with sriracha sauce(called it the special Thai sauce in the menu). We also ordered from the wok and hoped for some stir fried snapper and prawns but were served deep fried noodles and fish with an extremely tangy tamarind sauce. This was nothing close to Thai flavours.. Not the kind of experience we hoped from the famous restaurant at Revolver.
