Review Acai Brothers - Prahran

Almond milk cap and açai bowl (small) $19.40. It was nice but over priced for a small açai bowl.

My partner had never even heard of acai bowls before, and now orders from here every week! The quantity is always impressive, and the staff are so friendly with allergen information! The kcal info on the website is also super helpful!

I was there last week, my açai was melted. I paid for extra peanut butter and requested no coyo yogurt and the girl even repeated it back to me saying no coyo yogurt and then she gave me coyo yogurt and i told her and she scrapes it off and then there was no peanut butter. The açai was melted and they have me 1/2 a strawberry lol. Green cup for the win

Loved the vibe of this place with really yummy acai. I love this place because it has huge servings for the price you get with good amount of granola and toppings. So yummy!

I took a little trip to my favourite and one and only Acai Brothers again, and while I’m writing this, I’m already missing it! WHAT A DREAM. WHAT A DREAM. Acai Brothers is always trying to find a way to conquer and take that little step extra to their costumers and they keep creating new items to the menu as well as come up with initiatives to support the ones that need most ❤️ This time I had an almond latte to start of and you can never ever go wrong with that. It actually came perfectly executed and with SO MUCH foam 😍 and I didn’t even ask for extra foam like I usually have to! It’s like they guessed my perfect coffee order! 😂 (on a serious note, the owner actually makes an effort to memorize the coffee order of the usual costumers which I think it shows such a good character and SUCH good soul ❤️). Besides the perfect and very welcomed coffee, we had an expresso smoothie that was for my friend and came beautifully presented with a special touch of some coffee bean on top and looked creamy and mounts drooling! Very very needed in a hot day like that! And I had of one their bestseller bowls - the Salted Caramel and the Vegan Protein Waffles! 🤗 absolutely LOVED IT. The Salted Caramel bowl is perfectly and naturally sweetened and not overly chocolaty or berry based, and I have to say that this one and the Cinnamon Spice one are my absolute favourites! They are from the Specialty Bowls range and this one in particular is a blend of acai and banana with salted caramel vegan protein that makes the ultimate perfect combo! I love making my own bowls using these so I might be a little bias but it’s my absolute favourite combo because the final taste is always a win. It came topped with fruits of my choice (kiwi, banana, a few apple slices and strawberries), chocolate buckini that is TO DIE FOR 😍 and I decided to add vegan icecream (instead of the coyo) and salted caramel and strawberry drizzles. Sounds good?! Trust me, it tastes even better 👌😍👏 Regarding the waffles, I had tried these before and I had noticed that the dough was slightly more thick than what would be ideal but not bad at the same time. I can tell the recipe is slightly better with this version but I still think it could be slightly more fluffy (which is hard when you’re using protein and especially vegan protein as the main ingredient!). It doesn’t fall apart and I would say that since the recipe cannot be changed much more (or maybe adding a vegan egg or some more baking soda would help?!) the key here is to have icecream with it! 👏 yes, if you have that little extra icecream and topping sauces, trust me, that will definitely make up for anything 😂👌 I also think that you can’t get enough of that icecream because that is SO SO SO GOOD. I love the team of Acai Brother at Prahran and I would be there every day (EVERY SINGLE DAY!) if I lived just next door. Can’t wAit for my next visit and I absolutely recommend this location because you can be sure you’ll be welcomed with the ultimate smile and happy vibes ❤️ they bring light to this world!

Went there this morning, This beautiful girl Lara, best coustmer service ever, she was so busy and by her self, still served with a huge smile and good communication. Definitely recommend.

The berry smoothies is freaking good! We got what we paid.

The Mango Madness ordered was out of this world - very flavorful. Made from the freshest ingredients this was bowl full of freshness....But bloody expensive....Very expensive indulgence Good for 'once in a while' pampering.

We did the online order for pickup which was convenient. I love these yummy bowls but their serving size have definitely reduced which makes the price point a little steep, still easier then whipping out the blender though

Came here with a friend. I think it's the second time at this branch. The lighting at Prahan's Acai Brothers is very brightly lit, which I like, since it's great for photos. The taste of the blend is consistent, and my favorite go-to bowl would always be the Lemon Meringue Bowl, which never disappoints!

Had a açai bowl from here recently, it was delicious, the prices seem a tad expensive but overall the bowl was great and the ingredients most importantly were fresh.

A nice and cosy cafe.

Salted caramel specialty bowl - based of banana acai, and 3 fruits to pick. Salted caramel vegan
protein, choc buckini, coyo coconut yoghurt, salted caramel sauce. Amazing taste and all the flavours blend well together.

OMG. OMG.

Seriously, I love these guys. From the moment I found out about acai brothers to the actual first time when I tried their bowl, to photoshoots with their 1L acai bowl, waffles and even an acai party - EVERY. SINGLE. TIME has been amazing (as you can read from my previous reviews)

This time I visited Prahran, a relatively new location and THE BEST TEAM again. And THE BEST EXPERIENCE again.

Cannot recommend more this location of Acai Brothers. Jess is THE BEST PERSON ever and basically my twin in terms of passion and love towards pleasing others and making others happy. She is a talented photographer herself and I cannot even believe she is a mom! OMG! And works in the medical field too! How?! She is nailing it in life and they opened a few months ago and it was A TRUE PLEASURE to visit this location. And trust me when I say that after my first visit... there will be many other indeed. I visit South Yarra quite frequently and it will be amazing to even just say hi to just a positive soul.

I met the other elements of the team and I cannot believe how positive and beautiful these people are ❤️ just makes me want to spend endless time there, and I am sure you will too when you visit.

This time I came to try their limited edition Unicorn Acai Bowl. I actually don’t know the reason why they decided to do this know but... an extra magic is always appreciated right? 🧚‍♀️ actually the whole place is thematically decorated and is created such a positive a bright environment straight from the moment you walk in! Like entering a dream!

The bowl comes with acai on the bottom and it is topped with fruits of your choice (in my case I added apple, kiwi and strawberries. Then they add some buckinis and some extra fruits that will be covered in a very good serving of coyo. Then they add fairy floss (so good!) and marshmallows in a small size and coloured both white and pink. They top it with some multicoloured little sprinkles and then a cone that is crunchy and delicious!
I had the large size bow and it is quite filling and impressive 👌 everything is vegan so that’s also a win!

I also tried their Incredible Hulk smoothie - the taste was a bit too kale intense but still enjoyable. Good consistency and great size 👏 pairing it with a bowl is definitely something I recommend it you have a big appetite. They have a lot of other options and I definitely want to try a few more on my next visits!

I also had their Protein Toast and in a nutshell I have to say OH YES 😍 first, it is served with two pieces of gluten free and allergen friendly bread toasted to perfection, getting that crunchy texture that everyone loves 👏🙌 then it had a THICK layer of almond butter - carefully chosen from a stockist and just SO GOOD. Not too salty and you can tell it’s made with real ingredients and just pure bliss to have! For topping usually they use only banana but we decided to add two strawberries for the colour and I would say they give the perfect final touch to the meal along with some hemp seed sprinkles 👌 I actually loved this meal more than their waffles. The bread is AMAZING and the whole combo works very very well. Great job on this one 👏

Overall, I can just say that is was a pleasure again to visit and I cannot wait for my next visit. Once a fan, always a fan ❤️ you can never go wrong here! (Also, my favourite bowl of all times is the Cinnamon Spice followed by the Lemon Meringue)

Overall score: 18/25 or ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
in 5 words: perfect remedy to the sunny weather!
*
Review: I added $1 for a generous dollop of peanut butter to the classic açai bowl ($11).The baby size is sufficient as a snack in between meals. Loved how fresh the entire dish was, especially the inclusion of nuts! Their version of peanut butter is more nutty, less buttery and not sweet, which would please health conscious people. While I know I can make this at home, sometimes paying $11 for convenience is worth it. Would def come back on a nice summer day!
*
Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Presentation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely loved visiting the beautiful Jess at Açai Brothers Prahran for a delicious plant based feast! We ordered the lemon meringue bowl, protein pancakes, salted caramel smoothie & some raw treats to demolish for the perfect brunch spread! The staff were wonderful, made us feel very welcome & we were treated to a gorgeous spread (very gram worthy). If you haven’t been to an Açai brothers store, I highly recommend you do! My favourite bowls are the: salted caramel, choc treat yo’self, and lemon meringue. Hands down best Açai in Melbourne!
Yummy Or No Me
I used to order from here everyday, They made the best açai bowl, although a little on the higher end. But it was that good it was worth it.

But lately when I’ve ordered on Deliveroo, My $18 açai bowl looks like frozen/crushed ice. Almost like cookie dough. It’s so disappointing! Please pay attention to your quality again!

It’s happen so many times now. This fan is almost going to give up!

Friendly staff and amazing selection of raw/vegan/paleo sweets and treats! Highly recommend the Ace Cookies! Unfortunately the coffee was horrible... burnt taste, lukewarm, and half the cup was foam (even though I ordered a latte).

Cozy space located on Greville bursting with gorgeous and friendly staff who make you feel welcome the minute you walk through the door. The girls at Acai Bros Prahran will help you navigate the menu if you are too spoilt for choice. You can never go wrong by ordering the OG/GOAT Original Acai Bowl - which is simply perfection. Feeling daring and different, then I'd pick from their Specials Board. I love things all peanut butter so personally find the "Ain't nothin butter bowl" cures my sorrows like a hug in a bowl.

Not up for an Acai bowl? The store has kombucha and raw treats, protein balls, made to order smoothies as well as toast + nut butter/avo to tickle your fancy.

Bowls are prepared fresh over the counter fast - so you can enjoy your bowl within minutes of ordering.

The store isn't often overly crowded but there is a bench inside to sit on or ample seating outside or in the park opposite where you can enjoy your treat in the sunshine.

Over priced for such slow service. Waited 20 min for a smoothie, when there was 3 staff on and a max of 6 orders ahead of me. The smoothie tasted fine but was runny, definately not worth the $10. The staff were friendly but so inefficient.

My usual Saturday breakfast! Always fresh fruit and a great way to start my Saturdays! I love this place! I love the salted caramel and the coffee is delicious.

Super clean store and genuinely friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I ordered the original Açai Bowl and it was very refreshing!

The friendly staff were the best part of this place. The price for what you get is exorbitant in these açai bowls. The toppings were meagre and the açai smoothie was runny and not thick like it should be. As they were understaffed I waited for half an hour for my bowl to be made. There are other cafes where you can get a more reasonably priced tasty bowls. I wanted to love this place but the price just doesn’t cut it.

Being able to choose and DIY our own acai is so much fun! We really do love acai brothers! We’ve found the service at this one particularly slow (takes a while for the bowls to actually be made) however they’re super lovely! The serving sizes also seem to have gone down and are starting to call the price into question but we love how fresh and yummy it is!

Pretty tasty!! Nice and refreshing. PLenty of bases to start with and then go crazy and add away. The coffee smoothie is a winner as well. A tasty healthy treat.
