Tried this place on whim and absolutely loved it! Great staff, great authentic Thai food! The crispy rockling with sweet and spicy sauce is divine! Lovely ambience, intimate, not over the top. Definitely recommend this place
Great local that can't be faulted. Excellent fresh food, prompt service, nice ambiance. The duck curry and mussaman beef curry are the best, also the curry puffs and pad thai all superb. We have been five times and it never disappoints.
Dined here tonight. Excellent Thai food and the service was good too. I like what they have done to the interior - nothing too fancy but nice. The Som Tam (with soft shell crab!) was fresh and had some heat in it, which was good. We had another two dishes and they were delicious too. Will definitely be going back. Also, they deliver.
The food is SO GOOD! The tom yum soup was as authentic as possible, and stir fried dishes were fantastic! Very happily surprised to find such a good thai place near home. A suggestion would be to add one or two fish dishes if possible. Very Much Recommended!!

Been craving for pad Thai last couple of weeks and this definitely satisfied my crave. The flavour was authentic, the sweet and sour sauce was spot on and the take away portion was huge. Will come back again sometime and try other dishes on their menu.
3.5. The pad Thai was very good, sauce was spot on. Pad kee mau was ok. Roti was a little soggy but peanut sauce was great. Overall a really good meal.

Tomyum soup there was delicious. Servings of rice were plenty which made up for the smaller than usual entrees. If you're looking for Thai in the area I would recommend this place.

We enjoyed a late Saturday night dinner with family members at Pad Cha Thai. The restaurant was busy and had a good vibe about it. We were quickly seated with menus and water. We brought our own wine. Table service was good. We selected a number of dishes highlighted by the chef. All dishes were a good size and very tasty. Prices were reasonable. It was a great Thai dining experience.
Eaten at the restaurant and also got ubereats many times. It’s never let me down especially when I feel like a nice Pad Thai. Stands out amongst the rest in Preston and surrounds

Was craving for thai food 3 days ago and visited this thai restaurant. Ordered the chicken stir fry with mushroom and oyster sauce, tomyam soup, and soft shell crab. Overall taste delicious and recommend to try this restaurant if u happened to be in Preston. However the softshell crab abit too oily.
I had some lunch here and the food was quite tasty.
My Pad Sie Ew w chicken didn’t look like much food when it hit the table but I was soo full all afternoon lol
The thick rice noodles were tasty, the chicken was moist, the sauce was good but I did ask for some fresh chilli which was more of a chilli sauce and HOT HAHAHA! By the time I finished lunch I was sweating!
And the service was friendly too.
Hands down to what we think is one of the best Thai places in Melbourne! We absolutely loved the well cooked prawn salad and the red duck curry! Our entree with the prawn and crackers were such a treat. We would highly recommend pad cha and we will definitely be back 😄

My missus on the other hand ordered a Pad Thai, that she thought was very tasty! (She just found the red sliced onion in there strange)

What a lovely place, busy but food rolled out at a perfect pace , we could not fault any of our meal , the duck in cos lettuce was divine , only one small note English is very limited , so be patient as the foods well worth it , also take a bottle of your favorite wine (corkage $1) as wine list is very basic cant wait to go back
I think as most have mentioned while not stellar the food is perfectly acceptable Thai with decent pricing. Service is super cute and friendly. I was surprised at how busy they were on a Monday night so probably best to book for peak nights/times. They do pack the tables in but you can't begrudge a restaurant trying to work with a limited space and ample demand. The soft shell crab entree was very nice. Out of the three mains I liked the Red Duck curry the most although my wife said it was too sweet. The Pad Thai and the Paw Paw salad needed more punch and extra lemons helped. While there are plenty of food outlets in Preston a lot are a bit daggy and this one isn't so if you need Thai and you live close then luck you! I would ditch the water feature hiding behind one of the tables, it makes no sense at all.

We ordered the Thai green curry chicken, tom yum soup, Pad See Ew, lemon pepper calamari‘ and the Thai beef salad.
Tom yum was 10/10 loved the depth of flavour together with prawns and veggies. Would highly recommend this soup 100%
The curry and lemon pepper calamari were delicious, maybe a downside was that the calamari’s were really chewy but the flavour was yum. Thai beef salad was okay but wasn’t a highlight.
And of course to top it off, I had to order a Thai milk tea which wasn’t too sweet (exactly how I like it) 😄
This little contemporary Thai restaurant had amazing lunch menus. They all were only $12.5 and tastes well. I went there for my lunch alone with my colleagues, everyone enjoyed the lunch and they give generous serving of the Thai green curry along with rice and roti bread.
Loved this place. We arrived as a party of 4 without a booking. The staff quickly rearranged tables so that we were able to dine there. Both waitresses were lovely and extremely accommodating. The food arrived promptly and all our dishes were plentiful and delicious. As a bonus they have a great loyalty card for people who dine there frequently. Would definitely go there again.
Ordered the chicken stir fry with veggies in oyster sauce with Jasmine rice through uber eats, it was delicious! Big serving sizes, enough for two meals! Winning!
Ordered through Uber eats and the beef massaman with coconut rice was delish! My only downfall was the roti bread which was quite dry, might've just been cooked a while before delivery but otherwise very tasty and will definitely order from here again!

Pad Thai Prawns is fantastic for $14.50, not wet, balanced, just need a bit of Chili flakes.
Massaman Beef Curry with rice and Roti is a tad on the salty side, chunky meats are well cooked, melts in your mouth.

Looking for something warm on a cool winter night, and being new to the area, we chose this restaurant from the reviews and we're very impressed!
We ordered delivery and food was quite reasonably hot, didn't need a heat up.
The red duck curry medium heat was amazing, one of the best curries we've had, especially with the little surprises of lychees. We will eat from here again purely for this dish. Absolutely amazing.
Beef pad Thai was fantastic and full of flavour. Not too oily.
We ordered two serves of the coconut rice which was very yum, however the container was quite large so one would be sufficient next time.
Roti bread was also great for dipping into the curry. Next time I'd like to try the roti with peanut sauce.
10/10, what an amazing restaurant.
The service is amazing and the food is even better. This place is fresh and funky. The vibe is great and they will go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family. I can keep going but you'll just have to try it for yourself.
Finally a local thai restaurant that delivers on flavour! I had the lemon pepper calamari (my fave) and green curry chicken, both packed full of flavour with the right amount of spiciness! Didn't give it a 5 star rating as the coconut rice was over cooked.

Wow what can I say. Great service to match great food. I had the veggie Pad Thai which was so good. Very filling. My partner had the chicken stay stir fry which was also very good. Will be a new regular for us. 😁
We ordered Pad Kee Mau(stir fried spicy flat noodles) , fried calamari and beef massman curry. All dishes were nice, had good flavour and of decent serving size. Calamari serving was on the small side but good flavour. Would like more nuts and potatoes in the curry but that's just splitting hairs.
Got takeaway uber eats from here. Really great massaman curry with tender pieces of meat and potato. The cashew chilli chicken was also really flavoursome.
Ordered the Chicken Pad Thai through Uber Eats and it was made/delivered promptly on a busy Saturday night.
The portion size was massive for a small cost of $14.50.
The flavour and texture was also really good and the addition of slightly roasted crushed peanuts was exactly what it needed! I find if you order take away Pad Thai some restaurants can forget the little things!
Would definitely order here again and try their other dishes!

As a Preston local I watched the refit of Pad Cha with great anticipation - and upon opening I have not once been disappointed. So much so I've told many friends and family to visit who have all raved about it.
The friendly service, quality of food and presentation, and amazing value for money cannot be faulted.
First time making a food review because I'm shocked this place is rated so low.
Came in with low expectations because very few places do Thai food well. Pad cha does it wonderfully we ordered typical beef Pad Thai , green curry chicken , Tom yum soup and softshell crab salad more than enough to feed 3.
The price was ordinary for good Thai food
Atmosphere feels very nice compared to the other Asian restaurants on high st. Staff was very friendly

This place is great. Beautiful inside and food is fresh and very close to good Thai homecooking. A fabulous local Thai restaurant. I recommend the green papaya salad, massaman and the chicken and basil.

After travelling to Thailand and loving the cuisine I've been looking for the closest thing to it! I've now found that place!
The food is delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The massaman slow cooked beef is the best I've had, even beating Thailand with melt in your mouth beef! But if you like it spicy I recommend you ask for a bit extra spice.
The pad Thai brings great taste with not too much of that citrus flavour that can be overpowering at other places.
The service is great and the atmosphere of the restaurant with the decor makes it an easy to choice to eat out. ( hope it doesn't get too packed now with all these good reviews lol, but this place deserves success)
Would defiantly recommend to anybody and will be continuing ordering my take away from there :)

This new restaurant is beautiful, casual dining with lovely service.
We had the special entree which was potato wrapped prawns, delicate crispy and sweet. The mains were great - I'm a sucker for duck curry and theirs was spot on. The service really stood out and I'd highly recommend it.
Recently had an evening meal. Beef Masaman and the Prawns. Staff were prompt, attentive and friendly. A little pricey but both meals were tasty and well cooked. The wine was terrible. Would definitely go back.
Popped in for lunch as was working nearby. Take away came out quickly, staff were very friendly & the food tastes very good. All options on the lunch menu are a reasonable 12.50. I had the beef massaman curry which was very nice & flavoursome & the beef was tender & fell apart. Worth checking out for sure

Went to this place tonight with my partner as an alternative to the mediocre vietnamese restaurants in the area.I love Thai food....and eat it weekly. This is the BEST Thai food I have had for a long time (sorry, SukhoThai Northcote!!)We had the Prawn, avocado salsa for entree - YUM!. Thai beef salad - beef was so tender and delicious!Pad Thai - OMG - Yummo. Thai Green Curry - great amount of spice - Perfect. (Plus steamed rice)
Everything was amazing! We did not alter the menu or spice level and everything came out quickly and perfect!The waitress was amazing, she explained the menu well and asked us if we wanted our entrees separate from the mains (of course!!) The lovely waitress spent time to explain that the restaurant has only been open about 6 weeks. she explained that they did home delivery (great, as I live closeby), gave us a point card and explained that all the photos on display were made by themselves.I could not recommend this place enough - will definitely recommend this to my friends and will be back very soon. It is a long time since I've walked away from a restaurant gobsmacked, happy and content!My only criticism is that I couldn't eat more (but I will happily return to try more)

I feel like the last review must have been to a different restaurant! Preston has plenty of Asian restaurants to compete with but this is in a different class. Super fresh, authentic thai and lovely service. Great stirfrys and a standout pad thai. Sure - it is maybe a tiny bit more expensive then your local thai neighbourhood place but it is reflected in the quality. This is my new Preston go to place.
This was our first time visiting and we had a great meal. Staff were very friendly and attentive and we thought it was good value for money. The Pad set ew noodles were fantastic! All in all, we will be back.

I came with a group of friends who are working in hospitality industry but we don't judge with 'a hospitality expectations'. so just come and experience it yourself, something new, something popular. We went there as a group in the first week of it'd opening and we were very surprised by the food. Generous sized portions and mind blowing flavours. I have already been back twice. If they maintain these standards they will end up being my favourite restaurant in preston.
Dined at this restaurant by chance (was driving past with my husband and hungry). For the entree we had Thai beef salad and grilled prawns with Avocado &tomato salsa on crispy wonton cups. For main -Pad Cha Talay and Crunchy rocking fillet tossed in sweet &spicy sauce. The foods are excellent, so testy and fresh. Staff is friendly and food came out quick. Nice place with great atmosphere. Definitely we will come back.

I have been there last week, I looked at the menu and a lot of new menu I haven't try anywhere before. I ordered Larb Ped and Chicken spring rolls OMG so much full flavour. For dinner I had Pad Cha Talay, I recommended this menu can be a signature of the restaurant. Followed by black sticky rice with coconut ice cream, it was absolutely amazing. I will stop by once a week for sure. Thank you Pad Cha ^^
It was sensationally amazing. My frined and I shared pepper calamari and grilled prawns and tomato avocado salsa on wonton cups as the staff recommended and prawns pad thai and duck curry for main. It was the best thai curry I have ever tried. Also, the entree that the lady recommended was fabulous. I will definitely come again and try all the other menu. The service was professional as well. Love it!!!!

A group of friends and I decided to check out this new contemporary Thai restaurant and we were very pleased. The girls at the front provided friendly and efficient service and the food was mouth watering! We shared the roti bread with peanut sauce, spring rolls, calamari, satay skewers and the duck larb. The duck larb was so fresh and herbaceous, the calamari was tender and light, these 2 were my favourite entrees.
For mains we shared the red duck curry, beef massaman curry, pad cha talay, pad thai, prawn in tamarind sauced rice for the table. The duck curry was creamy with well balanced spices and flavour and the beef massaman curry was sweet and very tender. I loved everything and can't fault anything.
Decor is classy and provides an intimate yet comfortable relaxing atmosphere which is not your typical Thai restaurant.
I highly recommend this Thai Restaurant and will be back!
