Review Cheshire - Preston

George Stavrakis - Harcourts Rata & Co
Breakfast at Cheshire was amazing. Coffee was nice, kids loved their hot chocolate. Eggs Benny with bacon, waffles for the kids and scrambled eggs with bacon. Everything was delicious, fresh ingredients used and very tasty. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. Great atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

Second time visiting this cafe. Couldn’t go past the chilli scrambled eggs again, sooo good! Coffee was decent too. Well done.

I've been coming to this cafe for years! No matter how many of the owners have come/left, it remains one of my local faves - always consistently good with coffee and service. I love to come and have a coffee and bring a book with me. Or grab one to take away before work if I'm in a rush. The home made banana bread is also yum!
Meredith Davitt
All I can say is YUM! The team at Cheshire creates a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere with great food, coffee and vibes! Came here to have brunch with a friend and will happily say I will be back! Small but very well done menu and great coffee. Thanks Cheshire team for a wonderful morning :)
Vivek Singh
Very nice restaurant. Polite staff and wonderful service. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. I loved the coffee. There is a park across the road. If you are with kids.. you can have breakfast and kids can enjoy in park (under adult supervision). I highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks

Love this Cafe! Had brunch there recently and was so impressed that I went back the next day. Lovely service also. Highly recommended!

The owner/manager was super friendly! Felt super welcomed in the cafe. Got a very laid back atmosphere. ✨ Shout out to the Banoffee waffle 💯. No regrets.

Lovely staff, great variety for breakfast and nice coffee. Loved the Granola bowl and Vietnamese noodle bowl. Highly recommend 👍
Chas Cogan
Really good , chilled space with great staff and great food. My partner's chicken salad was excellent and my BLAFT sandwich was really good. Imagine a BLT with avocado and feta. Oh and my cup of English breakfast was a proper cuppa Yep I will be back. When you balance good food with great service be mad not to!
Jackie Hope
Fantastic, friendly service and incredible food! The French toast is to die for!!!
Mel Fato
Amazing food, coffee and friendly staff every visit!
Chris Mietus
Great food and attentive service - would go back there in a heartbeat.
Sarah Wedd-Elliott
Our favourite eggs benedict in Melbourne! So happy this place is our local!
Ash Barker
The food is amazing here. I love coming for breakfast here. My favorite is the avocado toast, to die for. Highly recommend. :-)
Van Nguyen
Very good food, great service and lovely people
Ashlee Nicole
Yummy food and great staff :) A great place for breakfast/brunch
Rosanna Kassis
The chef here is outstanding - and I'm a fussy eater. There's no skimping on using quality produce. I've tried various dishes and the flavors are always divine. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are so nice. Love coming here!
Duncan Ryan
I have not eaten here yet but what a great bunch you all are, it was a privilege to have you all for your staff function at the football factory Melbourne playing Bubble soccer. Thanks from Duncan and the staff
Rebecca Sutton
Everyone I go to Cheshire I get amazing food and very friendly service. The coffee isn't bad either
Michelle Neri
The pancakes where is very yummy yesterday with chocolate creams and melted chocolate the coffee was yummy to i recommend anyone to go there is lovely and all is. Organic love the place i will be going. Again:)
Ingrid Savell
Please note change of ownership/staff. So disappointed with the unremarkable menu and increased prices we didn't eat there.
Rosie Shell
Very busy cafe, friendly staff but far too often they get orders wrong...BLT but kitchens forgot the bacon! Twice. There's no customer service for their mistakes, only excuses. Give it a miss unless you enjoy disappointment
Deniz Yener-Korematsu
Awesome place. Good to see happy chefs and staff. Coffee as good as it gets.
Open-Kitchen
Ordered chilli scramble on sourdough. Food was served quick and service was friendly. On top of that, I could use my Zomato Gold 20% discount in this cafe. Will come back for more in future.
Joanne Liu
What a great cafe! The waiter was super friendly and lovely to talk to... the service was pretty quick as well!!
Would definitely recommend trying the Cheshire club! We also got an extra 20% off because of Zomato Gold.
The caramel milkshake was also really tasty; almost like yoghurt.
Would definitely recommend trying this place if you are nearby!!
Love trying a chilli scramble and had my first time trying the chilli scrambled eggs at Cheshire - it will not be my last visit there! When I saw it had pesto in the scramble I was a little unsure, but must say that it added a nice flavour to it. Overall, a great combo of flavours. A little kick with the fresh chillis but not too spicy.
BD Food Adventures
Good variety of food available and is one of our favourite cafes around the area. And if you have Zomato gold, this place is a must visit! The hot cakes are 👌, great portion and not overly sweet.
Pinch Of Bacon
This is a nice little place. The food was cooked well and the drinks were tasty. It was a warm day and the aircon couldn’t cope so it was a bit warmer than was comfortable inside.
Lindawang0813
The place is very nice and cozy, staff are friendly and helpful. Really good value with Zomato gold membership. Loved my food, good potion, will go back.
Ashley Truong
Cheshire was a lovely brunch spot. The hot choc and flat white were good. We ordered the chilli scramble and the smashed avo with hash browns and found both to be delicious. The service was great and the food came out promptly. We will be back :)
Meltoneater
Best coffee I’ve had in a while. Perfect froth and temperature! The food is amazing too. Ordered 2 of the plates with everything on it (forgot the name) and it was soooooo yummy! With Zomato gold we paid like 30 bucks! Great deal and highly recommended!
Patrick Hong
Got the Southern Fried Chicken burger takeaway. Absolutely loved it. Felt super premium and was delicious through and through. A+ chips as well which were battered and had a fantastic crunch. Definitely worth a visit again

3.5 stars ⭐️. We came to check out Cheshire because it has such great rating but I felt but let down to be honest. The food was ok, but wasn’t amazing.

Had the chilli scramble and it has a nice kick to it- when you eat a fresh chilli that’s dotted sparingly across the dish. I would much rather that whole thing that’s chilli rather than a burst of chilli flavour in 1 out of 10 bites. Also the scramble was a touch overcooked, so it doesn’t have that creaminess to it.

Kiddo’s avo and fried eggs on toast was nice enough.

Coffee was wayyyy too hot.

The great thing was the service. They are very accommodating to changes, like when I want Dr Marty crumpets with my chilli scramble they happily obliged.

Great cafe in the northern suburbs. Amazing food, coffee and staff. Love the chili scramble eggs. Always leaving happy. Highly recommended.
Bonny Chow
Great coffee everytime. Jacky takes great care and consideration when it comes to quality food and service. We always leave here happy and full! Must try for any brunch lover!

Would rate at 3.5
Food 4/5
Been a few times where they’ve forgotten key ingredients in my meal, for example the forgot the haloumi and sweet potato in my salad

Atmosphere 3/5
Lost points because the door to the outdoor area where the bathroom is was constantly being opened while I was there

Staff attitude 5/5

Pricing 4/5

Have been back a few times since and have not had an issue. Over all 4/5

I’ve been here multiple times before and just got my usual eggs on toast with salmon which never disappoints. However after my bad experience with a chilli scramble the other week at a different cafe I saw it on the menu and thought I’d give it another crack! This one had all my favourite foods incorporated into the dish, bacon, chilli, Parmesan, pesto topped with crispy shallots 😍
I also took the liberty of adding halloumi,
This is now my knew FAVOURITE cafe and FAVOURITE dish, just superb!!!!
Thankyou Cheshire for the overall amazing brunch experience and finishing it off with great coffee!

I come here every weekend or at least once a week.
Great food. Excellent service and vibe atmosphere.
Every week there are different specials on the board. Give it a try, It would not make you disappointed.
#macandchesse
#scrambleeggs
#eggbenedict
When I got there, there was only 3 fellas. THATS IT JUST 3 FELLAS. And I thought, oh no, my mate has recommended a stupid place. But within 30 mins those 3 fellas turned into A MILLION FELLAS. Which made sense because the food and coffee was very solid mate. The place won’t sting your eyeballs with prettiness, but it was pretty good. Chilli scramble m8.
EatOutWithJo
Had brunch with my hubby & 2yr old son at Cheshire during the week 😊 It had a cosy atmosphere, generous serving size of food & friendly staff!
Eatenbymae
Very average food but okay service. Service was prompt and friendly. We got the chilli scrambled eggs as well as the fried chicken burger. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and tasted more like an omelette. The flavours were OK though. The burger bun and the chicken patty was both dry. The fries had to be the best thing on the plate.
KLfoodfinds
Staff were very patient and accommodating to my partner and I who were struggling with the zomato gold app. Thank you!

The chilli egg scramble was well cooked and tasty. The dish was very filling.

The burger was also very well made and delicious! Will be back for more
PositivelyDelicioUs
Good local spot, solid food, coffee could be more consistent and a little less generic. Good offering of takeaway cakes and muffins. Generally friendly service
Ann T
A bit of a wait at the start as they were really busy. However once we were seated they were really tentative and courteous. The waiter gave really good advice and also requested for any drinks order first. My mate had a breakfast burger which he raved about and the extra hash was amazing! I had the dish on the specials menu which was the cauliflower hash. Oh my lord it was amazingggg, everything on the dish worked and complimented each other. The colours on the plate really gave the presentation an a plus!
H
Nice cafe and atmosphere but unfortunately missed the mark today, shuckshuka was very watery and didn’t really make sense, fried egg instead of baked and the beetroot hommus was unnecessary. Also, I found overpriced for portion size.
Sam Melbourne
Nice ambiance and cozy environment. The staff are fast and efficient. The burger, fresh orange juice, and ice-coffee were nice. But, I’m afraid the breakfast meals were not one of the best in the area.

I always love this cafe! The food, coffee and service especially... I ordered Uber eat for the corn fritters today and add some special requirements, they actually read it and prepare the food exactly how I requested! Really appreciate this as nowadays many Uber eat orders can come as a surprise...(in a bad way..😏) so highly recommend this cafe and will definitely pay a visit soon!

An amazing cozy restaurant right near the intersection of gilbert st in Preston. We chose to sot outside as it was sunny outside, hence better pictures.
The lady who served us was remarkable with a bright personality, she made sure we were taken care of to the best possible.
Going on to the drinks, we ordered a matcha mint tea & a hot chocolate for drinks and both were exceptionally good. I got the matcha for myself, and as trying matcha for the first time, i did indeed like it and would order it again.
As for the food we ordered the Moroccan salad bowl, which was good enough. I personally didn’t like the chick peas in it. I felt it didn’t go along with all the other ingredients in it but loved the surprised pomegranate seeds (loved it).
We also ordered the pulled pork nachos, and this dish was just on point, it was tangy, it was chilly (loved the pieces of chilli, they were just hot enough to go with the nachos and the whole combo), and it was crispy as well as just cheesy enough not to break your cheese intake.
Absolutely loved my experience here.
Foodadventureswithliv
extremely happy with this cute cafe! i had my dog with me and they accomodated for him with a bowl of water and enough space outside! the staff are super friendly and quick service and delicious coffee!

i had the pork benny and it was absolutely delicious!!!! the pulled pork was just incredible.. BURSTING with flavour! it was the perfect sized dish for when ya really hungry! my friend had the chicken burger with gluten free bread and the gf bread was amazing, didn’t taste gf at all!!!
:) ill be back, really enjoyed it!
Shweta
Lovely little discovery in preston. Loved the red velvet pancakes!! It was extremely filling. I also tried the chia pudding which was all that it promised to be. The ice coffee and iced chocolate was good as well. Will visit next time and try the big chesh. It looked amazing
@foodtom
Looking for brunch? Look no further. They have so many dishes and they have new specials all the time, with plating as colourful as what this was I was sceptical about flavours, but it was safe to say they absolutely killed it. Fresh, Flavourful & Tasty. Top place.
Mrs Brunch
There’s plenty more options within walking distance. I wouldn’t choose Cheshire

This used to be my usual ‘pop in on my way to work’ Cafe. Only for convenience. The coffee was ok, but what really put me off this place was the raw balls. I grabbed a Orange and Coconut one for my son and found it was covered with mould. Was so so gross. For a raw ball to be mouldy they must have been there for a really really long time.

If you mess up with food once, there’s no going back especially with my kids.
Erin Rusic
Cute little restaurant in Reservoir with beautiful food well presented! Friendly service with a wide variety of choices, I tried the Burcher bowl very good with a variety of fruits! will defs be back again
Ajcajc
Lucky to have this as one of my locals. Nice place to brunch or lunch at with visitors. My gluten free friend keeps asking to go back. I always choose between the tacos or the calamari salad. The best chips!! Friendly service who are always lovely about my pram, despite the limited room inside (I go else where if at peak time or have two prams due to space inside). Nice area to sit outside alongside cafe with gas heaters for winter. Is a bit pricey and slightly small serves for the price.

Came to Cheshire after a terrible experience down the road and wow, what great food! We loved the relaxed and friendly service and would recommend the Pulled pork benny and Moroccan super bowl! Yum yum yum! Thank you guys we will be back very soon!

Absolutely beautiful, from the service to the location. Staff are always friendly and never have to wait long for my order to arrive. Very good quality coffee and food.

Tried Cheshire for my coffee fix today & it made the mark. Really good coffee.
Staff were super friendly & welcoming.
Lots of lovely looking treats in the cabinet, i had the caramel bliss ball which was tasty.
Breaky menu looked really good but didnt get a chance to taste today.

Have been here several times and it's always on point.
The coffee is perfect, staff are friendly and menu items are delish!
Must try: nourishing bowl - burger - belt

Great place and friendly service. Chili scrambled eggs were fantastic and even though the place was busy we received our meals in good time.

Enjoyed a rare day off during the week so it was great to catch up with friends visiting from the UK.
Came in here to enjoy a great latte and tumeric latte.
Nice and cosy local and great to enjoy away from the weekend hussle and bussle too.

I don't live as close to it as I used to but when I was living in Coburg we would come here often. My favorite by far was their steak sandwich. Coffee is pretty good too.

Cheshire cafe is one of my go too locals while in Preston. You can always count of a good coffee, milkshake friendly staff and yummy breakfast. The menu is a bit limited, and slightly on the hipster expensive side, but the staples are well worth it and never fail to deliver. The cafe is in a converted milk bar, with a hip vibe. An overall solid experience. Great vegan/vegetarian options too!
The Official Food Hunters
Had the smashed avo dish for breaky that was so delicious and filling from the quinoa. Such a variety and intriguing menu that makes me want to come back and try all the other dishes! The service was so welcoming and prompt, such lovely and accommodating staff. Definitely can’t wait to return mm mm mm

Love these guys. I'm in there frequently for coffee - the best almond latte you'll find. Their baristas know how to work it! Always super friendly too. I like taking people here for brunch to show off my local. LOVE living near this place! It makes Preston West what it is - awesome 👊🏽
Yutao Han
A very nice outdoor setting for dog owners, the staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered a chicken burger with fries. It was nice and the price is fair. Will go back again and try some other dishes.

Excellent local cafe. Attentive staff, great coffee. Food is fantastic. Lovely low key place for breakfast and lunch. Could have a slightly bigger menu but all the food is satisfying.
Lara Kara
I'll definitely go back to Chesire to have that French toast! It took a while till we get our orders but!! French toast was Amazing which made me forget about delay totally. Love candied nuts and a poached pear in it, it's to dye for! Coffee and brurgers are great too.
Beccy's Adventures
I have never eaten here, however they make a mean juice. The ambience is great, 60’s - 80’s music, friendly staff and really great decor.
I tried the berry juice and it was fantastic. Icey, full of raspberries and other tangy berries with a touch of mint for a background fragrant flavour. A great balance.
I will be back to try the mango next!
Mary-mia Ioculano
Visit this cafe today and was very impressed. The service was friendly and attentive. Lovely the cosy atmosphere and a great smell of coffee which I love. Had their pancakes and they were absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented which I had to take a photo. Had chai latte it was lovely. The menu looks amazing and reasonably priced. They have a large array of coffees and cakes. Will be going again absolutely recommend. 👌

Not wheelchair accessible indoors. Wheelchair accessible outdoors. Table service provided but if you're chair bound you can't go in to pay. Staff are lovely though so I'm sure they'd accommodate.

Wind barriers on part of the outdoor seating and umbrellas plus heaters.

Smaller space so we've only dined with 1 chair.

Coffee is great and food is great.
Taimor H
Great local cafe with a great menu. The competitor to Jackson Dobbs. A bit more pricey, but with slightly more choice. Dibs is always a warmer welcome, but Cheshire coffee is better. Week staff are great, weekend staff I find less warm, but might be they are busier
Katherine Xi Lin
Great service their staff delivers and you would definitely love the smell of the café once you step in. The strong caffeine smell that typical modern Australian cafes should have. Set the address on your google map and enjoy your morning/afternoon there.
Erica Roccioletti
Cheshire is an awesome brunch place!! It is cute & cosy with really funky decor on the inside. The food was delicious, with perfect portion sizes & fresh ingredients. The staff were super lovely & the coffee was the best I've had in a while. Will definitely return for a casual, yummy brekky!
Aaron Aiello
Hot Breakfast spot in Melbourne. Beautiful architectural design in the shop followed by carfully crafted food. The service is also very great
Beck Haley
The Staff were lovely, coffee was very nice and food was
delicious I had the omelette which had fresh ingredients. Recommend giving chesire a go.

Great portion sizes and flavouring in the meal. Coffee was delicious and food very fresh. Staff were friendly which is always lovely :) will definitely return here for my next Saturday brunch Erica Roccioletti Beck Haley Laura Simionato

First day of new menu. I had the open omelette, fantastic flavours. My wife had English Breakfast, she loved it.
New menu items a winner.
Well done.
Michaela Henderson
My favourite local. Great food, coffee, decor and always friendly service. I always go back for the french toast and fresh squeezed orange juice!
Melbourne Food
So tasty!! This is such a lovely cafe, everytime I go by it's always so busy so I said I would give it a try. I was not disappointed! Definitely will be back.

Visited Cheshire on a Friday morning and ordered the Eggs Florentine (added smoked salmon) & Avocado Toast (added bacon). Both meals were good and what I liked is that they don't put butter on your toast!

The venue is more appropriate for smaller groups (2-4 people) as there's approx 9 tables available indoors and a couple tables outside on the footpath.
Cathy Mokbel
I drive out of my way to come to this cafe. It is 3 suburbs away from where i live and i have made it my my local. Not only is the coffee amazing, so is the food and the customer service always exceeds and goes above and beyond all expectations.
Love Cheshire and the team
Keep up the good work
Mia Tua
If you are looking for a good local brekkie joint, Cheshire is the place. Simple and easy going venue and friendly staff. The menu offers a good variety of sweet and savoury items and they are all quite delicious! Love the ham sandwich.
Demi
Cute little cafe tucked away near the first stop of the number 11 tram line. I ordered the Chesh (which is a little bit of everything) and a cap. Coffee was good, if not a little weak. My food was okay, but nothing particularly special. The toast was a bit soggy and the chorizo had a funny aftertaste, eggs/spinach/tomato needed more seasoning and was quite bland. I could've probably whipped up something similar at home.

Staff were lovely though and it's a quiet place to sit and talk.
Skellie
Cheshire is alright. It always feels a little cramped and uncomfortable but if it's just two of you, or one, it's a good place for a break.

The scrambled eggs were almost very good but had a few pockets of really slimy uncooked egg. A little more cooking would've made it great. The avo smash was super delicious because it was flavoured with herbs and lemon.
Sandwich was juicy. There was a giant piece of grass with the rocket which made me laugh. I used it as a whistle. At least you know the greens are fresh :)

Chesire has long been my go to for breakfast, brunch and coffee on the run. For the last two years, I visited Chesire to pick up my morning coffee before work and have always been greeted with a smile. In the mornings I am the most indecisive person, so I often just request "Something with caffeine", which the baristas are always happy to create. Some days its a latte, others a mocha, but none have ever been bad.
The same goes for the meals. I often stumble in on an early morning and request "whatever is going" and the chef (cannot remember his name but he is lovely and has tattoos etc), will put an amazing meal together for me. On the days when I am more functional (aka weekends) all my choices have not disappointed. The Eggs Benedict are a must. Chesire really does make you smile ear to ear, if you just give it it a shot
Hungry Catepillar
Lovely little cafe in the burbs that focuses on good food, good coffee and good service. All the staff are really friendly, I had a really nice egg breakfast and good coffee. Parking can be a little tricky however if you stop here you won't be disappointed.
Little Foodie
First time there, I ordered the steak sandwich and really it was so good, the sandwich was so big and enough for a nice lunch, it was around $14 so a very good price for what it was, I would recommend it for sure.
Munching Melbourne
The breakfast menu slants towards the classics such as baked eggs etc. The interior is very homey and has a cosy and comfortable vibe. We ordered the baked eggs which had lots of chorizo which we were pleasantly surprised to find out. The baked polenta was flavoursome and tasty. Staff were all...

During yet another one of our many escapades in and around Melbourne we ventured down to Preston checking out Cheshire’s namesake. This could either send us leering backwards as a vampire would cowering in a church or grinning from ear to ear like a Cheshire Cat out of sheer satisfaction. As I have always been a fan of the fictional Cheshire Cat a character from Alice in Wonderland, I was excited to tumble into the rabbit hole of flavors Cheshire would bestow upon me.But I would find out the name was actually chosen for the simple reason of it being a beautiful name which suited the cafe to a T.
Melbourne Glutton
Popularised by Lewis Carroll in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, known for its distinctive mischievous grin, and propensity to be rather rotund and well fed, it is really just me-incarnate.
Hello. Imnikki
Cheshire proves that Preston can be hip if it wanted to. A wooden chair hanging out front, dark moody wooden interior and awesome tasting coffee. Food can be hit and miss but if you don't know what to order, you can't go wrong with the tried and tested The CHESH. It definitely feels like it's the default dish for half the customers there too. Super friendly service, even friendlier and faster if you are a loyal customer; one man got served his long black within minutes of sitting down.
Mmmeatme
Stopped here for a take away coffee. Worst I've had in a long time. We are full cream people... always. It tasted like a really really bad soy latte. If they gave us the wrong coffee and it was soy it doesn't bode well for customer service (and it was a terrible SL anyway). Either way not a good experience.
Knguyen895
Beautiful breakfast and full of flavour dancing in my mouth (:
I haven't been here in a year, but always a delight with their special menu :D
Liz_p24
Great local in Preston.

Very refreshing to have a nice place with fresh food and great service in Preston. The setting is hipster-ish with the single bar stool seating at each window to give the inner city cafe feel. The service is great with waiters always cheerful. The coffee blend is nice and strong and gives a definite zing to your morning. I've had the cold chicken salad for lunch which was quite good, it's my local so I would definitely go back
BrunchQueen
The iced chocolate lacked in flavour but the coffee was spot on. The eggs Benedict was perfect and went very well with the prosciutto. The hollandaise sauce was delicious and the dish overall was very tasty. Excellent service too! Close to home so will be returning!
BIRCHER QUEEN 👑
Visited this cafe especially for the breakfast board to be told it was a special which was disappointing but what was even more disappointing was that the next two items I tried to order from the menu were out of stock or unavailable...how does a cafe run out of Bircher on a Saturday morning in Melbourne? When I finally found something on the menu that was available (4th times a charm???) it was again a disappointment..smashed avo on toast with feta. In fairness the avo was delicious and a good amount however the feta served with the dish was no bigger than a dice and only on one piece of bread. They really shouldn't have bothered. Won't be returning as there are ample cafes in the area with available dishes as stated on their menus!!!
Jennyfee
Love love love love love love the French toast
Great dish ! Staff is always very nice
They're really dog friendly too, what's always a bonus when we take our dog for a walk and stop by for a bite to eat 😊
Pancreas
Our solid and reliable local. The menu may not be the most original out there, but the food and service always deliver. This is still the best cafe in Preston.
Matt
Both food and coffee here is outstanding. Using St Ali orthodox blend (makes a quality piccolo, and the baristas care about the coffee they make). Food is great - highly recommend the chicken sandwich. Staff and service here is also top notch. Preston has quite a few nice cafes, but Cheshire is still one of the best and one of my favourites in the area.
Hamish
Love this cafe. Always awesome coffee (never burnt, good milk etc) but of course the St. Ali beans are a good base to work from.

There's an ever changing specials list and the standard menu items are great. Also delicious is the rotating selection of muffins - seriously good.
Convivialsins
A friends local favourite for awhile. Bit of a hike as its up north in Preston... but well worth the trip... especially take note of the daily special.. all their pancakes are damn amazing!!! just the right fluff (well u know what I mean). and the mix of the flakey almonds... with jam mixed in with some syrup... washed down with a nice gallop of strong latte made to order!! its simply bliss!! Try it out if u are in the area... or if ur a nut case like me... drag the mrs out of bed on a sunday morning to have breakfast there!
Mary Lu
Best coffee and local experience!
I frequently visit Cheshire and highly recommend it for a great brekkie and a place to have coffee when catching up with friends. Cheshire is always packed, and for good reasons too. It's close to public transport, great indoor and two outdoor eating spaces. The coffee is spectacular too. I highly recommend!
Rothy
This place is always jamming, for good reason. The staff here always acknowledge as you enter and the service is with a smile. Consistently good coffee and Eggs Benedict.
Zio Rob
Great coffee, great breakfast and a great atmosphere. I regularly visit this place with clients and everyone comments on what a nice place it is. Definitely a must visit breakfast destination or for a quick coffee break.
LaLa Lays
Great serve of breakfast and generous portions. I'm so full I won't be needing lunch.

Ordered avocado toast with side of mushrooms. Bread seeded and crunchy for me to dip my avocado.

Good coffee as well and the service is impeccable. They remembered my coffee order and I've never been here before.

standard meal $15- can't go wrong.
Renata
Was keen to try this cafe out for a while as my partner lives close by, we ended up finally trying it last Sunday and was not disappointed.
As we walked in we were greeted by a few of the friendly wait staff and ordered our coffees straight away.
The coffee was great, and so was my eggs Benedict, my partner had the eggs florentine and he also loved his as well.
Will be returning soon!
Lsamma
This little cafe is so amazing and the food is so delicious!!!! Great customer service as well can't wait to revisit! The prices are very decent as well for the quantity and quality of the food
Florence Renata
Friendly staffs! I had eggs florentine and a cup of hot chocolate for brunch. The egg Florentine was amazing, generous portion of the hollandaise sauce. Hot chocolate is a bit off with unripe banana after-taste kind of feel.
Michelle
I have been a customer at Cheshire for some time and without fail they have never disappointed. We went in today and it was crawling with people however that did not change the quality of service. The staff at Cheshire are kind, welcoming and are always willing to make you have the best experience you can have. There have been really good changes made to the food and some general things at Cheshire and I am very impressed.
Allaboutfood
Walked in to a small, friendly environment cafe. The food was outstanding in both the presentation and the taste, coffee was to die for! Will defiantly be coming back!
Sarah Jones
Been coming here for over a year, always great food but next level lately with new chef, plates are pretty and food tastes fantastic. Love St Ali coffee used though sometimes made a bit strong. Great atmosphere and staff.
Chelbelt
These guys always have nice meals. Hearty breakfasts and a good selection of specials. I regularly come here to catch up with friends. Always happy with the service
MYT
A wonderful local hero - good selection of menu staples and blackboard specials. The french toast is oh-so-decadent, worthy of a weekly indulgence - thoroughly egg-soaked soft bread beautifully fried, with the right amount of berries, maple syrup and (mascarpone, I think) cream. Their daily baked sweet and savoury muffins are usually exciting, fresh and a great to-go breakfast.

Service is great, friendly staff and always cheerful. Coffee is decent, and it depends on the barista.

I always come back for more.
Tabouli Salad
I had the polenta dish. The way the polenta was cooked wasn't great. It was soft, more on the soggy side. Not the usual crispy polenta I'm use to. The combination with the polenta wasn't a great match either. The wait for the coffee was about 15 minutes on a Saturday. The staff were friendly enough, average service, can be better with temperament. Other then that pleasant enough experience
