Calamari and pizza both were amazing
Pizza is great wood tired quite tasty worth getting if you want to treat yourself. Not cheap but worth it if you’re a pizza lover. great for date night.
Average service and not really much of an atmosphere but the woodfire pizza is really fresh and delicious. I'd probably reccommend take-away as there's not really much of a vibe to the restaurant.

After reading some extremely positive reviews, we knew we had to come here. What better way to try it out than for a birthday! We had a very attentive waitress who ensured she popped over numerous times to see how it was all going and of course, to fill up the water jug.
What we ordered:
entree: Meatballs and Olives
Mains: Fettuccine Carbonara and Prosciutto Pizza
ToFeedTwo get extremely excited when all the food sounds great that at times we over order. Thankfully this restaurant allows you to take the left overs home. The entrees were both delicious and a mention to the tasty (with a hint of spice) sauce that accompanied the meatballs. The Carbonara was beaming with flavour and definitely hit the spot. Due to the pasta being a heavy meal, the only recommendation would be smaller bacon pieces. The pizza was also an excellent choice especially on a thin base (how we like it).
Live local and took way to long to try this place. Best woodfire pizza hands down. If you eat seafood you must try the Mariner - it is spectacular !
Also tried the Special, a tad salty for my taste but the OH loved it - we will not order pizza from anywhere else in the area. Thank you
Love this place, first time trying it and was pleasantly surprised! Always drive past this place as I live 5 mins away and it was always busy but never got around to trying it! Staff were friendly and ambience was cozy and intimate enough for couples. The food was GREAT! Not too long of a waiting time and everything tasted fresh and flavoursome. Hidden gem in Preston that you should defs try if you’re thinking to. Only thing I can critique is that most Italian restaurants offer fresh cheese upon serving pasta dishes whilst this one does not, you need to ask for your cheese!
First time here, it's a quaint but busy restaurant with some great food options, the staff were very pleasant, friendly and served our group of 5 wonderfully. The food was very nice, ordered off the specials board. I would love to return to try out some more. The pizzas look great and the prices are what you'd expect from a local Italian pizza restaurant. All up a place you'd go back to often if you're a local. Thanks to the lovely lady who served us, she was professional, friendly and did a great job on a busy Friday night. Hope to come back soon. Would be wise to book as it is a busy little place. Ciao.
Staff are always friendly with big smiles on their faces. Food is absolutely fantastic! I haven't had a bad meal here, wood fire pizza done right. Sometimes can be hard to get a seat as it is quite small and very busy, but if you have to wait it is totally worth it. Might be best to book a seat.
Gnocchi carbonara is my favorite dish.
Highly recommended!
Lovely little unassuming place that does yummy wood fire pizzas! The front of the restaurant is cosy, and my friends and I like looking at the old Italian pictures on the walls. Only on my second visit did I realise that there is an outdoor area out the back, which is undercover and warmed with heaters for a cold night. The waitresses are friendly and welcoming. I have enjoyed a couple of pizzas here and they are cooked beautifully with bubbly crispy crusts, only thing is that I would love if the Margherita buffalo came with a few more basil leaves! If you stay for dessert - the bombolone with Nutella and ice cream is delicious!
Excellent food and service 👌 never get disappointed, tried almost all their pizzas & pastas, always a great same taste, will definitely go back again❤️

A great local pizza place that really hits the mark with flavours, favourite item here is the Mariner as pictured with just the right amount of green chilli for that kick ! Marked down half a point for 3 mussels on the pizza... 4 would be nice. Reading some other reviews about the staff here is rather suprising as I've never had an issue, and it seems that the issue here is the customers attitude. Keep up the good work!
The Medium/rare steak was absolutely perfect and the staff were pleasant and courteous although a little distant in connecting with the customer. The cappuccino was watery at best.
Our favourite local pizza place.
The Funghi Selvatici pizza comes layered with the most beautiful, robust wild mushrooms and is perfectly paired with goat's cheese. The Il Gamberi is another favourite with mozzarella, tiger prawns, sun dried tomato and fresh basil, with fresh lemon zest taking it to the next level. The pizza base itself is the perfect balance of crispy, soft and chewy.
Beautiful woodfire pizzas, Tried the "Special" Pizza, with the lot. Garlic was a little overbearing, however still extremely tasty, and all individual ingredients were fresh and of great quality. . The tuscan salad is the perfect side dish. Although I didn't try it, the ravioli and gnocchi looked incredible (and homemade). Ill be back.
had dinner last night had the fettuccine marinara my wife had the lamb shank amazing and son had the capriciosa everything was amazing great experience and leaves other wood fire pizzeria for dead
Tonight we dined at this lovely local pizza shop. My husband and I shared a wild mushroom and goats cheese pizza to start. So delicious and so much flavour in the mushrooms. The base was lovely and light. I had fettuccine marinara. It was full of seafood and also had caper berries through the Napoli sauce. My husband had the spaghetti carbonara and thoroughly enjoyed it. The addition of the crispy pancetta on top was very nice too. Next time we will do desserts as the Italian donuts looked amazing. They've now got EFTPOS so it's much more convenient. We will be back next week. Excellent local pizza restaurant. They're fully licensed but allow you to bring a wine bottle with very minimal corkage. I would say this is the best pizza restaurant in preston.
Very Delicious pizzas. Great and friendly service. We were waiting around 40 minutes for the food but was busy. My only issue is the seating, the place is way too cramped.
Another quality Preston pizzeria. The pizzas here are traditional Italian fare - high quality, thin bases, wood fired. They speak for themselves really. Dough can be a bit inconsistent at times, with bases tending towards being a bit too crispy. Have only ever grabbed take away, but the venue looks nice and friendly too.
Yum yum yum! Wow this place is super good, amazing Woodfire pizza. A satisfying meal that was reasonably priced and the perfect dessert to finish the night. Service was great
This is one of my favorite places to eat!
The food is just amazing, everything is fresh and delicious and the portions are generous!
Favorites are the meatballs, marinara pasta and the gnocchi carbonara...pizzas do not disappoint and the desserts are insanely delicious!
Service here is great, staff are very attentive and friendly.
Great family place, value for money and restaurant also has an amazing outdoor area that is undercover for any occasion.
Pizzas here are nice- My favourite is the potato and leek pizza as it's very flavourful and interesting. Lovely cheese and garlicky base. The mushroom pizza is also very tasty. Bases could be a tiny bit less floppy in the centre but it doesn't matter.
Staff wise, this place is average.. The girl with the coloured hair attempts to be friendly but her service is poor because her attitude feels quite arrogant- talking "at" you, too loudly, and dumping water bottle on the opposite side of the long table from the person with an empty glass who requested it.
Corkage was $5; reasonable. Not sure if it's per bottle or per table because we only had one.
Will return, for takeaway.
Service was attentive without being intrusive. Had the special pizza, well cooked, good topping distribution and tasty. Also had the gnocchi, fluffy yumness, although a tad under seasoned.
Loved the Pizza, nice place and people, also during warmer weather there is a outdoor dining area. Enough options to choose from. If you are in the area please do try
What a fantastic restaurant. Staff were friendly and attentive, food was delicious and well priced. It was very family friendly, plenty of high chairs and kids even got some dough, rolling pin and cookie cuttter to play with. We'll be back!
Arrived very excitedly on a Friday night after friends' recommendations to have the pizza only to arrive at a unextraordinary looking restaurant... We thought -there's nothing else in walking distance, let's give it a shot. So glad we did! We had the osso bucco and the seafood linguini neither of which were spectacular... Then we realised everyone else was getting pizzas and we had forgotten about the friend's recommendation.. So we got a pizza too. One of the most delicious pizzas I've ever had! My friend agreed. Lovely thin base and lovely generous ingredients
MUST TRY THE PIZZA!!!!
Quality Italian style pizzas. Thin base, minimal, quality toppings. All the things a good pizza should be. Staff very friendly and I've never had to wait more than 15 mins.
Dined there tonight for very first tome after a recommendation from a work friend. Sue had a vego pizza with roast veg spinach and fetta, she loved it! I had Osso Bucco with yummy polenta and pickled zucchini, delicious. Definitely will be back, very good food, and excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Bellissimo........ The best italian pizza & pasta by far gnocchi is to die for like a ball of fluff defenatly going back quick service also
Can't wait to eat there again. This place has shot straight to the very top of my very short list of favourite pizzerias. Ate there last night with a friend for the first time, and will definitely go back.
The service was prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. We were greeted almost the moment we arrived (usually a good sign) and made very welcome. Water brought immediately, with a glass of house wine following smoothly on its heels.
Good menu - pizzas, pastas, a few salads and a few desserts. A few specials on the board. But I can't often go past a pizza cooked in a real woodfired oven.
There were several attractive alternatives, but we decided to share a large smoked ham pizza. It arrived quickly, attractively served on a wooden board and delivered straight to the table. Unlike too many other mediocre pizzerias, this place certainly doesn't confuse quantity with quality. Generous quantities of smoked ham, dotted with sliced mushrooms, quarters of artichokes and melting dabs of cheese on a tomato base not overdone, and all on the wonderfully thin and crispy base. There wasn't a lot of conversation as we munched our way through that.
The ingredients were excellent (nothing from a can here, thank heavens). The combination worked very well so that one could taste the ingredients both separately and the delightful marriage of them melding - and melting in the mouth.
Very surprised at the high standard of this restaurant in a somewhat 'out of the way' location. The friend was a bit dubious when we arrived, but it means parking is easy. What a find! She was as delighted as I was that taking pot luck here worked out brilliantly. Best of all, it's very close by. Definitely going back or taking food out - there was a steady traffic in take away, and a restaurant half full even on a quiet Tuesday night.
This is a true Italian pizzeria, making authentic Italian-style pizzas. Wonderful!
Great service, delicious pizza
Most AMAZING pizza in Melbourne!!!! Very consistent, very tasty and extremely delicious. Can safely say that no other place compares to Aqua E Farina and after having tried many other places in Melbourne, Aqua E Farina is the only pizzeria I will keep on visiting!!! The staff are extremely friendly and cater to any needs, the shop is very cosy and the food is outstanding. What a place!!!! Whoever hasn't tried is MISSING OUT!!!!! Can't wait to go back
Will cause your knees to buckle. Wow' that was yummy!! Thank you for using extra love topping on my pizza :)
Fantastic Food!. I went to Acqua E farina Pizzeria for coffee and desert. We ordered a chocolate and stawberry calzone, a Nutella pizza with walnuts and mascoponi and the special a French vanilla custard pizzeti with poached strawberries. All the food was divine!! I recommend this place!! I will be coming back for a proper dinner in the future.
Patatina Pizza is a revelation!. Love it here. Pretty much always order the patatina and one other pizza, maybe the special, maybe something else. It's consistently good, though pizzas do vary (even the patatina varies occasion to occasion) but that's a positive, I think, rather than a negative.
Wish they'd take card payment though because sometimes I want to go there, remember I don't have cash and go elsewhere instead ...
Delicious!! Dined in on Tuesday night walked in was seated straight away and served quickly, I had spaghetti Polpetti which was amazing! The best meatballs I've ever had! My friend had penne carbonara which she said was the best she's tasted (don't tell mum shh!) We also shared a focaccia aglio which was delicious and completed our meals perfectly! Can say without a doubt we will be back to try the rest of the menu:)
We had 3 cources mushrooms for entrée patatino and ortalana pizza and gnocchi carbonarra for main then we finished with the fantastic bambolini for dessert all dishes were fantastic and reach. The service was friendly from young people with big smile.Defenetly I'll go there again!!!!! The prices were really good for that kind of food...!!
The pizza is great. The prices change but they don't tell you until you have to pay and all printed menus have old prices. Not good. Not good at all.
So yummy! Gorgeous little place. Great set up. Cosy. Fantastic staff and good. Will return for sure!!!
Pizza was delicious! Will definitely be going back. Best pizza in Preston
Prue
Top quality ingrediants, great atmosphere, blistering crusts! Every time i eat here i leave satisfied without dissapointment great job guys!
I love this place, hmmm pizza was absolutely delicious, yummy and the service was great...
Absolutely love this place!!! I cannot comprehend how Acqua e Farina has any bad reviews! The pizzas are the best I have ever had - period! They have the perfect amount of toppings and are cooked to perfection. And don't get me started on the gnocchi absolutely amazing, you have never had gnocchi like this before. I would go as far to say that this is the best pizza joint in Melbourne (and I have had my fair share). The service is also amazing. The guys go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and are happy to accommodate for your needs. Would recommend this place to everyone. Will definitely be back again and again and again.
Excellent. Fantastic Service, Great Pizza, Pasta is lovely and fresh, and BYO whoo hoo!!!! The staff there always go out of there way to make exactly what you feel like eating.
Gourmet pizza finally hits preston. Consistently excellent pizza, with a regularly changing special in addition to the staples on the menu. Nice to see BYO is still around as well. A hungry adult can eat a large (really a medium) pizza, so a couple of pizzas is $35-40 but it's worth it.
It's definitely woodfired - the giant oven in the corner of the restaurant full of burning wood gives it away, and a wall full of photos of the oven being built.
I dined at aqua e farina Friday night . I enjoyed a Sicilian pizza it had some amazing flavours with good quality ingredients, best pizza I have had. Me and my partner then shared a Nutella pizza that was delicious. The staff where very friendly. Definitely returning to our local restaurant.
Beautiful dinner. Had the il Gamberi pizza, had just a hint of lemon in it and was delicious. Couldn't pass up the choc/strawberry calzone for dessert equally delicious, can't believe i haven't been here yet

Delicious!. It's about time there was a great pizza shop in Preston! This place stands out by a mile. Delicious woodfired pizzas, delicious antipasto plates and delicious desert pizzas! I would eat here all the time if i could. The service is great too.
Highly recommended if you're in the area
What a gem!. Amazing and delicious woodfire pizzas. Service was quick. Will be going back!
How good is this pizza? it is truly scrumptious. esp the potato and leef.
perfect bases. yum
Awesome pizza!. Honestly some of the best pizza I have ever eaten and that's a big call from a pizza lover like me. Admittedly the first time I ate here there was may too much garlic on my supreme pizza (another big call- from what my boyfriend calls ''a garlic fiend''). But their generous, tasty toppings and perfect thickness with crunchy-but-soft combo base makes me forgiveful ;)

Thoroughly converted. Love this place, we were thrilled when this business space changed hands. Being locals, we come here often and have never been disappointed with the food or the friendly service. The best pizzas you'll find in this area, not to mention a night here costs us less than getting chain pizzas delivered for food twice the quality and taste. Atmosphere is pretty basic but they've managed to make an intimate, rustic space out of a shabby takeaway area. Fantastic to see some great options finally emerging around West Preston!
Now our choice for takeaway pizza. Great toppings, love the quality of olives, good base and well priced.
Delicious!. Awesome pizza and so much easier to park than our other favourite (Pizza Farro) - and closer too. I just wish you guys would take credit card for when we're a bit cash poor but I get that those fees are hideous.
Highly recommend - looking forward to eating in one day soon.
Best burbs pizzeria!. A fantastic simple authentic menu - meals are amazing!
Finally we don't have to drive to Northcote, Brunswick etc
Best pizza ever! Go back regularly for the melanzane. Service is always friendly & welcoming. Highly recommend it
It's about time.... Decided to check out the fuss after a recommendation from a friend. We ordered the prosciutto pizza, supreme, a special with king prawns and the obligatory spaghetti bolognase- It was all perfect! The pizza base was cooked through nicely, the toppings fresh and tasty, even the spaghetti bolognase was great with an authentic, proper sauce taste. We will be back without a doubt.
Super delicious with luscious toppings and crispy base the pizza here is consistently good. We are now regulars and feel so lucky to have quality pizza right around the corner. No need to go all the way to northcote for our artisan pizza hit. Things are looking up for old west Preston!
I have found my new local pizzeria!!!
Amazing wood fired pizzas...
Would Return. Beautiful thin crust pizza with fresh toppings. I had the Melanzane Pizza which was lovely. I don't like pizza all that much but this I would go back for.
Good Pizzeria. The workers know how to make a fine pizza. The flavours and combinations in particular are delectable. The dough is perfect, the ingredients fresh... unlike the shabby kinds you get at LaPorchetta! The lasagne is quite good, too. Overall, I recommend Acqua e Farina and consider it to be the place for pizza.
Really good. The pizza is full of flavour. Finally a real pizza close by.
Big on taste not on dough. Very good quality thin and crispy style pizza. Recommended.
The menu has a good range of pizzas, as well as pastas and other dishes. Some locals might be disappointed by the lack of any novelty pizza names referencing the area (ie the Northern Bullants Special or the Crusty Cramer). Others will see this as a plus. The pizza is excellent, with a perfectly thin and chewy and crunchy and yeasty crust. For those who used to make the pilgrimage to Heidelberg for Pizza Amici before it changed hands, the Acqua e Farina pizza is fairly similar. Acqua e Farina already has a strong following: on the evening we visited it was very
