Amazing venue with friendly staff! Great ambience and delicious food. We had a trivia night for our kinder here and it was a huge success. Already planning another night here!

Visited this brewery for a beer taste. Had an XPA and a feijoa sour beer which I liked. Great natural taste to the fejoa sour.

Excellent and fun beer variety and friendly staff who are happy to answer questions about the beers and give advice on what to try. Really really poor food though, I have been 3 times in the last 2 months and eaten twice, and won't again. Low quality/effort and overpriced for what you get. 5 Star beer, 1 Star food.

Canadian approved poutine worth the 30 min drive. The service was excellent. Will definitely be back for a lager.

My partner and I held our engagement party at Tallboy and Moose and it was an absolute ball! The staff were wonderful to work with and really helped us to bring our vision to life. Lisa was wonderful at communicating and helped us make minor adjustmenst leading up to the date. Food was plentiful and drinks were ofcourse delicious. Thanks guys!

Great brewery with a sprawling menu on tap. Very accommodating, proficient staff and food options too if you're here for the long haul.

Such a cool and funky place. Came here for a 1st birthday. Never seen so many kids at a brewery. Staff were great and very helpful when choosing from their interesting drinks list. I got a platter to try 4 different beers. Some were a hit, some were a miss. But I enjoyed the adventure. Food was great. Would go back for sure. Need to try everything else they had.

Went for dinner last night and had a wonderful, relaxed dinner despite having our 3yo and newborn with us! Friendly vibe, great beer, delicious food. The burger was possibly the best I've had, and my husband loved the beetroot and stout curry even though he usually doesn't enjoy beetroot or stout! Dessert was next level. Can't wait to go back.

Lovely place with friendly staff! Loved the ciders and the food was delicious. Partner enjoyed the cold brew iced coffee. Open, with big fans but no airconditioning, so it can get warmish. Seating inside and outside. Good access for PWD as its a driveway sloped entry and plenty of room to navigate inside if using a wheelchair. Family friendly, children's menu.

We just had our staff Christmas party at Tallboy and Moose this afternoon and it was SENSATIONAL! Everyone LOVED the specially prepared Christmas roast dinner and staff were commenting that it was the best Christmas party we've had yet (which it was)! Thank you to all of the wonderful staff and chef for having us and making the day so special!

Had Fathers Day lunch today at Tallboy and Moose, A real relaxed atmosphere and the most amazing flavours in the food, the place was buzzing and so busy and the guys in the kitchen where real good and apologetic, but it was worth the wait, I had been hanging to try this burger all week and WOW so good. Lot's of Vegan and GF foods too. in case you want one here it is - "Mel Gibson Burger, double charcoal grilled Angus beef patties, cheddar, cider pickles, broon sauce, tattie scone, mustard, cool bun 14 w/ bacon 16", the only thing I would say $4,40 for a can of Coke is a bit steep, but water is free ;-) Thanks guys again for a great day.

Loved this place even with the BYO food setup. Was surprised today when visiting for the first time since last summer to see Weemans kitchen. Mel Gibson Burger :) One of, if not the best burger I've ever had.

We had a fantastic party there last night. Everyone loved the staff, food and beer! So relaxed, great space for people to come and go. Awesome people doing awesome stuff!

Great place but it's not McDonald's! Too many kids birthday parties which is starting to make the atmosphere a little manic. No probs with kids being there but I just don't think it's appropriate to have infants birthdays in a beer hall. Unfortunately it is destroying an initially excellent vibe.

Excellent beer! The Coolade, a double IPA, New England style, is a particular fave. You can take them away in reasonably priced crowlers. Food also very good. Burger a recommendation.

Fabulous!! The British Summer Feast was amazing. The best scotch eggs and pasties, followed by beef Wellington and finished with summer berry pudding, infused with pimms. Delicious!! Well done wee man, Zoe and your team. The Pom from Sussex.

We recently organised my son's 1 year birthday Party here and wow what a venue. Everyone was so accommodating, the staff were polite, nice and flexible and the kids area kept all the little ones entertained while us parents could enjoy a glass or two. What a great space and venue. We will definitely come back here again. Thanks for a great event.

Went for Star Wars Trivia night; staff are great, cider delicious but missed my Parma. Asked for my Mel Gibson well done but was barely medium, so was disappointed. Chips were great though.

Great house beers on tap. Enjoyed the atmosphere. Only downside was small food portions, although it was delicious

Great brewery! They have a wide range of brews, which tend to change up fairly regularly. Reasonably priced when dining in, I find their takeaway prices a bit pricey.Big wide space as well as the beer garden out front. The food at wee mans kitchen is delicious as well!

Unfriendly bar staff compared to other bars in the area and stingy with the size of wine glass serving. Food was good though I won’t go back, there’s plenty of other good places nearby.

YUM!. I’ve never had a deep fried mars bar before and the chef insisted I try it.....presenting you the greatest dessert ever! What a dessert. So rich and flavoursome. I honestly thought the colourful things were sprinkles but they were popping candy - even better! Our birthday has never been so fun. Thanks Team xxxx

This place is an absolute gem. Love their brews with an excellent variety and well made. The scottish themed kitchen makes some flipping delicious grub. Can't ask for much more. Cheers guys

Great atmosphere, super friendly staff and a very interesting Scottish twist on some classics. My biggest complaint was the serving size of the prosecco, or maybe I just drank it too quickly :) would definitely recommend trying out this microbrewery for dinner or a tasting paddle!

Great when they have food! We’ve been here twice now (not especially late). The first time they’d run out of some food. The second time they’d run out of all food. Suggest either going at opening time, or going somewhere else if you want to be able to eat. But it’s great food if they haven’t run out!

It is a really good restaurant. The food comes quick and it is great for all ages. The sate chicken is amazing; it has a perfect texture and an excellent sauce. Not only that but it's deep fried mars bars are exquisite. All in all it is a great restaurant.

Love it! The kitchen staff serve up amazing food with a smile on their wee face. The place is not overly crowded, with relaxed seating and dining options - you can have a proper conversation with your mates in this place and still hear what they’re saying 😁 The choice of tapped beers not too overwhelming - just right for those venturing out into the craft beer world. Top shelf spirits.

Sufficiently hip and spacious to be an effective hipster hang. Liked the brew house and the different beers. Had some loaded fries that were seriously loaded. Kid friendly too! Get there

Love this place. Great selection of beers and awesome cold brew coffee on nitro. Great space that is far bigger than it first appears. Check out Wee Man’s Kitchen if your peckish.

Love this place! The food, drinks and atmosphere are absolutely amazing. Personal recommendation is to try their cold brew coffee, I’ve never had any better and now I won’t go anywhere else for it 😎

Great beer and relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor space could do with more trees and shade but otherwise a nice place for an afternoon beer. Highly recommend the cream ale

Seriously yummy and interesting food and beer at this joint. I can vouch for the lamb chops and carrot salad which were perfect for sharing. Pretty as a picture too! Keep it coming guys 👍🏻

Great for after work drinks..love the brews and the loaded fries. BUT the ambiance doesn’t do it for me. Lots of used space makes it feel very impersonal. Otherwise great work guys!

Yummy pub grub at seriously reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere, good beers. The food is pretty unhealthy but if you’re up for a grease hit, it is delicious. We had the Mel Gibson burger and the patty was absolutely delicious.

Tallboy & Moose is a Preston from duo Dan “Tallboy” Hall and Canadian Steve “Moose” Germain. They met in 2012 while both working at Moon Dog Brewery, and soon after started a side project Make Beer, which saw them brew and sell small batch, single keg beers in 2014 and 2015, all while working their days jobs.

Awesome converted warehouse that looks cool without being pretentious. I like the bench seats for large groups but really I was vying for a spot on the couch by the fireplace. Bar staff offered me a taste before I had to commit to the beers which was great! Foodtruck out the front smelled yum and I might bring Chew burgers here next time.

Nice and friendly atmosphere. Limited collection of wine to choose from, being more of a wine person than beer, but it's a beer maker place after all, and they have a nice label of homemade and local brews

Nice atmosphere great for a sunny day especially when there is a food truck out front. Even not being a beer drinker still one of my favourite local places for a cider is wine!
