Went out for fathers day breakfast. Loved what we ordered, (turkish breakfast, feta and leek omelet and cheese and spinach gozleme) full of flavour and just the right amount, coffee was great and staff were very friendly.

I've been coming here for a while and by 'a while' I mean years; and what I can confidently say is that it has always been a pleasurable time.
For it size, the food comes out great and the variety is amazing. There is a candid feel to the place, nothing that prioritises instgram, but putting people in front of anything.

I had breakfast here for my first love to Preston I enjoyed the ice coffee and was pleasantly surprised with the goat cheese and halloumi burger :). Loved them both . I don’t like vegetarian food much but I enjoyed this and price is reasonable .Will visit again
I called into this cafe as I saw a sign suggesting it was the best coffee around.
The service was lovely from the waitress who served me.
I ordered a piccolo latte and the latte art was a great signal that the coffee was well brewed.
OMGosh the flavour of this coffee was exceptional. The coffee had notes of chocolate, crema, and a delicious earthiness. It was one of tge best piccolos that I've had in a very long time.
This cafe was buzzing and its not hard to see why. This place is definitely worth a visit.
This is a weekend institution for me as the staff are extremely friendly, hardworking and dedicated to their customers. Expect to get some good-natured banter for free as well, once you get to know them. They have excellent chicken avo Turkish breads and wraps with a good selection of cakes, all at extremely reasonable prices. The coffee is always great and unlike some other places in the area, they will never hurry you when it is getting to closing time. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a light lunch.

A quick lunch at Boundary Espresso on a weekday and it was quiet when I came in. The staff were very attentive and chatted about gluten free options. I chose the simple baked eggs with goats cheese on the side. I wasn’t sure what to expect but the eggs were served on the side of toast outside the ramekin cooked in. There was no tomato salsa sauce from cooking. The extra cheese was generous and delicious. Overall good quality GF bread and yummy eggs. I had the food with a Prana powdered chai latte which was delicious. A lovely rustic and comfortable cafe to sit in the sun.
I have been coming to Boundary espresso for many years, through the change of owners. The new owners have worked really hard to uphold the high standards that were set & continue to use local, quality produce.The food is excellent & very reasonably priced, surprisingly so. I come here about twice a week. The coffee is always on point, the service always super friendly & genuine. I like to support these guys as there are now more cafes near by, cashing in on the success of this original cafe & taking some of the business. Its a smaller place but still fits a lot of people. They also do great lunch rolls to order. I recommend this cafe to all my friends & am glad it's on my route. It's got charm!

Boundary Espresso is a quaint little cafe in Preston, where the barista/owner(?) remembers the regulars, their names, and their coffee orders. It was really refreshing to see witness this.
The chorizo + baked eggs were perfect for a rainy Saturday. The portion size was a bit too small, could have gone without the balsamic greens as well since the flavours of the chorizo are quite strong. 🍳
The soy latte was strong and just what I needed ☕️👌🏼

We seem to have organically moved towards being vego and as you can see. Lots of options for those who don’t want meat. Actually I think close to half the menu is meat free and vegan options too. Tasty thoughtful options. Not the token few standards you see on most menus

Cosy ambience and very relaxed place to catch up with friends, grab lunch or brunch.
When you see this place it is inviting and you cannot ignore it. A contemporary place that fits Preston very well.
Highly recommend, service is attentive and you will be back despite the competition in the area.
In a string of cafes close together on Plenty Rd I have come to like this one the best. The regular barista - a young woman - has refined her coffee making skills and makes a delicious latte. There is something rather nice about being a regular at a place and having your order remembered - there is definitely a small local vibe going on here and I always feel welcome when I come in.

Popped in for a Sunday coffee and brunch when the in-laws were in town as it'd a nice 5 min walk from our apartment. Pulled up a table curbside in the sun and shared the sidewalk with some other patrons and their puppy pals(always a fav of mine).Coffee was hot and pretty delicious, I especially loved the handle-less cups in cool colours and textures(image was removed by zomato for some strange reason). My haloumi burger was nothing to write home about but them zingy lemon did add something a little special. Not the best nor the worst in the neighbour hood, but I do like that it ahas a bit quieter vibe then he places down the road

Came again for a quiet coffee and brunch on grand final Saturday. I don't find their menu the most exciting, but it does include most of the classic breakfast requests. Once thing I've noticed is they are always out of something, which with such a small menu isn't great. Today it was the rhubarb crumble :( My partners avo on toast was kinda sad looking, however the sun was shining, the service attentive but relaxed and by breakfast roll as everything I could ask for.

Great food and super friendly service, but for the cost (the green eggs & ham plus an English breakfast tea came to $21.00) and the fact that baked eggs are their specialty, I’d have expected to get eggs that weren’t so overcooked. That said, I’d still be keen to go back again – the pides looked great, and for under $10, really good value if you need a cheap lunch option in the suburbs this weekend!

Looking at what cafés were located around the Bell Street and Plenty Road vicinity, I found Boundary Espresso on the map and planned my visit accordingly. Walking along a somewhat bleak and desolate strip of Plenty Road, I could actually smell something delicious in the air just before Boundary Espresso came into view. My timing couldn't have been more perfect when I pushed open the door into the tiny dining area and made my way to the last vacant table available inside.

Food is average, but again think they're somewhat limited with the confines of their kitchen, which I think consists of a toaster oven (Might rephrase and state the 'averageness' is more to do with the limited selection of food available).
Can highly recommend the Vietnamese Coffee on those warmer days...not that we're going to be experiencing that anytime soon in the midst of winter here in Melbs. Stick with the hot stuff for the next 4 months or so...

Lovely little cafe. Great service even on a relatively busy Sunday morning. I was apprehensive about the date and pear crumble because I am not a fan of super sweet breakies. However the Greek yoghurt balanced the dish perfectly. It was delightful. The whole menu is affordable and a little quirky with dishes such as Green Eggs and Ham and different pides. The coffee is delicious but I personally prefferred the creamier lattes next door at Red Bean. All and all a great experience :)

This is a tiny place that can seat no more than 22 inside at a squeeze, though there are a few tables outside too. I had the "Asian coleslaw" which is in two of their dishes, the Asian Style Salad and Baked Eggs, and Pide with Smoked Chicken and Asian Coleslaw. This is more a Vietnamese style salad (but with wombok rather than cabbage as the base). The freshness of the salad is undeniable and it's also got an amazing lime based dressing. Just beautiful, and balanced out with crunchy peanuts and shallots. They also have a range of other great dishes I can't wait to try. I am not a coffee drinker but absolutely love the range of teas.
We wanted to create an intimate, comfortable space with industrial elements and lots of natural light with the focus being on good simple food and great coffee. A cafe that reflects us - the music that we like to listen to, a friendly atmosphere, and a local community feel.

Liquid Gold. Just stopped over for a quick take away coffee, the atmosphere was good, the staff were friendly and happy which is always a positive. The coffee itself delivered in fine fashion. I ordered a columbian single origin in a latte and it was smooth as anything loved it, definitely try if your in the area, great people and coffee made with love.

I walked into Boundary this morning seeking coffee and comfort in preparation for a day that I really didn't want to start. Having never been here before I was pleasantly surprised to find the atmosphere friendly and relaxed, the same goes for the staff. Breakfast was amazing and the coffee was delicious, exactly what I needed to start my day with. Definitely will be back!

Went there on Saturday for brunch. Wow. It was yummy. I had free range eggs with pulled pork and roast tomato. The bread was great. The coffee was yum too which is the most important. Going again on Saturday.

Great coffee, great food, great service!. We were headed down to High St for breakfast but got lazy and decided to stop at Boundary Espresso, and I'm so glad we did! As the reviews suggest, the coffee really is fabulous. Great flavour and body, and perfect temperature.
The menu may be small, but both our dishes were perfect. I had the caramelised leek and goat's cheese omlette with olive tapenade. They were out of goat's cheese, so asked me if they could swap it with Danish feta, and it still tasted amazing! Another bonus is that you get slices of toasted Turkish bread instead of the standard toast!
The service was great too! Everyone was smiling and friendly, just what you want for a lazy weekend breakfast.
The cafe is small, and clearly people have caught on to the fact that the coffee and food is great, so make sure you get in early, or be prepared to wait!

Boundary Espresso is a small corner cafe that offers quality coffee made with passion and a smallish but well rounded menu. The venue is on the small size with about 6 tables and can get overly crowded, but the coffee is excellent, staff are super friendly and the place is well decked out to ensure I always pop in, even for a quick take away.

One of my favourites. I love coming here for breakfast! Especially in summer - as their Vietnamese coffee is amazing (complete with star shaped ice blocks). The food is made from delicious, fresh produce and is always amazing. Coffee is probably the best I've had North Side and has never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and attentive. A small space so you might end up having to wait for a seat - but it's very much worth it!

Cool little place, minimal but tasty menu, was quiet when I arrived so I thought the food would arrive a bit quicker. Soy latte was excellent! Small dining area meant for easy over hearing of conversations between regulars and staff, especially amusing when it involved the really kooky staff member! But I'll leave u to figure out which one I'm talking about- all In all, thumbs up!

A boheme type cafe, with greate staff and character. Simplicity with a touch of difference. very tight but lovely menu. museli and chorizo eggs are excellent. Mixed crowd mainly locals craving some cafe culture. lots of regulars and fans.
