Thanks 60 dollars per person set. We got a dry-microwaved duck roll,a middle raw prawns pie, and egg shell in our fried rice. And when we told to the waiter about the egg shells. We’d been told “eat slowly and carefully.“ Not even apologized about it. Very great service man.

I would say 3.5 stars. Despite the luxurious decors, nothing is special here. The food was just okay and pretty much average. The fried rice was the best dish. Pipi with xo sauce was sadly bland.

First yum cha after a long long lockdown in Melbourne and this place didn't disappoint. Great crowd control, stringent check in process, delicious food and good service. The dumplings are massive and price reasonable.

Usually not one to complain or write a review but we have never been so disappointed. A friend and I were very excited about having yum cha as we’ve always enjoyed it and have been here years ago. But never have been so disappointed with our food and service, the waiters had a very rushed attitude towards us from the moment we walked in and glared at us on our way out. The pork bbq fried noodles were burnt and soggy, looked and tasted like it was warmed up in the microwave and gravy sauce dumped on top. Soup was bland and was barely filled, and barely had the main ingredients in it like the duck soup had only duck skin. Lettuce bao buns were not fresh, they had black lines and soggy.

Best yum cha on this side of town! Another hidden gem next to the Preston Market. Fantastic atmosphere, fabulous service & delicious food! I have missed egg custard tarts & ham sui gok ( footballs)!!! 😋

12/04/22,17:30,62/pp banquets Very bad experience☹️ 1.The food is not fresh—Lettuce has a fridge odour,roast duck tastes like reheat by microwave. 2.The food is not in a restaurant standard— Sesame prawn toast was RAW in the middle(told to the server and received a BURNT ones),fried rice with EGG SHELLS 3.The service is the worst! Told to the server egg shells issues, he replied :” oh…just a few…I pick them up for you… eat slowly~~ Why I pay for an egg shells fried rice??

Plenty of people enjoying yum cha, about three quarters full. First time that I have tried it. Not my style, are happy with sweet and sour pork and fried rice. One of our group did all the choosing so we got a varied selection of food which is fine. Looking around, everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal.

I wanted to take my friends out to a famous restaurant with high standards and expectations from 'Gold leaf' however we were left very disappointed! The wait for service was long and the wait for the meal was longer, even with a hungry stomach the food was not of standards nor what we would expect. The food use to be amazing back in the days hence why I came back but after this visit it will be the very last. The food was atrocious to say the least. Service was horrendous, thought I walked into 'Karen's diner'. My advice... save yourselves the trouble. 🙂
