Review Degani Bakery Cafe - Preston

As far a coffee goes, Melbourne is known to be the center of the universe. Hell - the center of the Multiverse for the best coffee. This is why I find it hard to enjoy a good cuppa-joe. But the Northland Deganis manages to deliver everytime. I would have taken photos of the cakes, but there were none left. But we had a good time there.

The service is quick and the staff is friendly l. The coffee was average, they also have plenty tea snacks to choose from which is a plus. Absolutely loved the croissant 👌🏽

My daughter was taking my elderly mother out for lunch and chose Degani Northland, (1st March, approximately 12.50pm). When they arrived, my daughter chose a more appropriate chair that had a back on it for my mother to sit on. A very rude and inconsiderate lady with no empathy with short light brown hair(maybe with an accent) said to my daughter that she could not use that chair. My daughter explained it was for her elderly nan that needed support for her back. This lady still would not let her use the chair. My daughter was taken back with the rude attitude and left your cafe immediately.

Great Cafe 👍 Fantastic selection of pastries and friendly staff 👌 Their coffee is good too. Highly recommended.

Nice place to have some light meals. The coffee was ok. Had the bacon and egg focaccia, was nice.

Food is good but service needs to be improved. They provided the wrong order and didn't apologize for that.

Hands down the best coffee and service. the staff are lovely and the owners are even more welcoming. we sat down with my family and had the best experience.

The worst customer service! Not sure if someone had started their day on a bad foot but the staff attitude was VERY bad. The attitude seems to be coming down from the owners. No smiles just grumpy faces. Management should think about undertaking some serious customer service skills training and teach their staff how to be polite and treat your staff with respect. I would not be going back there ever again!!!!!

The best Deganis in Melbourne. I was so surprised that it was packed, we couldn’t get a seat and didn’t think to book! It was a lovely vibe, food was fantastic - large portions and so were the drinks. We will definitely visit again soon.

Table dirty, cutlery sticky, crockery dirty. Table cleared of previous customers plates after our food arrived. Table not wiped down.

Sandy the “lady” taking out order was as rude as a rabid dog.. clearly hates her job. Then maybe time to move on.

Coffee in this cafe may be one of ok to drink inside Northland shopping centre.<br/>Friendly customer service and long table with 6 seats are great for family.<br/>It was deep flavour but milk was bubbly.

They make pretty good coffee but the pricing for everything else is quite high. Good selection of sweets as well. Thoroughly enjoyed the macarons. Pretty tiny for their price but it was tasty.

This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. Without a doubt the worst customer service EVERY TIME I’ve been there, I’m not sure why the manager or barista or whatever he is even works bothers he looks like his in Hell and treats customers as if they are peasants either it’s a general problem or it is a racial problem?? not sure but I absolutely will never ever go back and I walk straight past the Sorry excuse for a cafe 😩 not to mention the food is usually cold even when asked to have it heated up, ughhhh the whole place is a mess WORST COFFEE EVER!!!

I come here for hot chocolate and coffee all the time. We've tried the deserts which were lovely as well! The staff are always friendly and give great service!

Very bad customer service. I asked about the ingredients of a cake for a certain diet and the guy said he was not free in a very rude way. I did not feel insulted but actually disgusted by his narrow minded mentality. I was going to buy something and was not asking for charity. Actually it's good he showed his real skin. Never going to waste a cent on him. I'll also spread my experience among my friends. <br/>Wish I could give 0 as a rating.

This is a pretty average place, average food for slightly high prices. It is what I would expect from a Degani's. I wouldn't be too pushed on coming here again

Well Shane what can I say other than if you were that unhappy with your experience why not be fair and complain to the so called rude 'Barista' with your concerns instead of trying to deminish this great coffee house.<br/>As i can talk talk from experience, i have been a frequent customer for the past 18 months and have found the service, staff and especially the coffee to be the best and consistent that Melbourne has to offer. Trust me I would be the most anal coffee addict and i always receive the coffee the way i like and have tried numerous latte's all over the state but always look forward to returning for my fix at this great friendly cafe.....

Best coffee great costumer service nice food at reasonable prices. My favorite drink now is the turkish delight hot chocolate its to die for and it is definitely made with love. <br/>My go to cafe at northland, there's no better ;)

This is my go to coffee place, almost everyday i go out of my way to come here to get the best coffee in the state, the best service. Fast, efficient, Friendly. Everything you want and more from a cafe!

Officially the worst coffee I have ever had!<br/>Absolutely disgusting! I'm lost for words!<br/><br/>Weak coffee, arrogant barista (if you could call him a barista) and luke warm milk when I specified extra hot!<br/><br/>Don't go to Degani unless you hate your tastebuds or feel like being disappointed!<br/><br/>Disgraceful!
