The mood is good at Youngman café. It’s becoming my haunt. The stylish design delivers a sophisticated looking place. A comfortable atmosphere is often hard to achieve, but Youngman café is welcoming. Quick to deliver water and also giving sufficient time to choose from the menu, the staff are professional, open for a chat and genuinely interested in quality food and providing an exemplary service.
The coffee is excellent and they provide all options including Bonsoy which is my favourite. I’ve tried the House Cured Salmon which is delectable. Everything on the plate is there for a delicious reason. The cured salmon is a generous serve and the best I’ve tasted. The Wild Mushroom with eggs was a delight. I’m a fan of desert and I urge anyone who is like me, to try the chef’s homemade sweet delicacies. Telling me that one of the secret recipes took him a year to perfect, I could tell that food and cooking is his passion.
I’m impressed by Youngman café and will frequent. A great local café. Fine food at its finest!

Very welcoming space, a friendly team, lovely coffee and great food. So glad that Youngman has arrived. Also I spotted the local #Tilly paste-up on the outside wall, that has to be good luck!

Delicious coffee, relaxed and stylish feel. We loved our lunch - pasta from the specials board really beautiful and the meat in my dish was so tasty. Kids loved their pancakes too!

Working my way through their menu when it’s time for brunch! Their poached chicken, cheese & citrus rocket bagel was fresh & zesty with homemade hash brown on the side.
Great cafe for a reliably good coffee, friendly service and a laid back vibe. Wifi is fast and service is quick. Food is fine, not instagrammable or particularly creative, but well priced. A neighborhood staple

Love this place and have now been here a few times mostly because the staff are always so nice. But it’s also the good menu, great atmosphere and the ever delightful playlist playing in the background.
Food recommendations would be the house-cured salmon for breakfast or for brunch the veggie salad bowl.
Plenty of books, magazines and newspapers to read plus bonus books for kids as well as pens and pencils. Decor is just homely and inviting.
You eat in or there are a few tables outside. Takeaway food is available.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Highchairs available. Good parking - better than down in the main shopping area.
Lovely food and friendly staff. We had the smoked salmon with eggs and salad. The salmon was delicious and more like sashimi. coffee was also good. Only downside was limited outdoor seating and being on a main road
Great little cafe, i love that it caters for children with lots of books to entertain them.

Pasties & slices are yum made fresh & hard to go past. Today i choose the fig slice it was a great treat & i didnt feel to guilty having it, usually i cant go past the danish.

Staff at Youngman is really nice, efficient and understanding. The cafe is quite simple, food is really nice and so is the coffee. Good for mums with children
Stopped in for an iced coffee which was the right amount of coffee and ice cream.
The cafe is nice with friendly service, service was quite slow however it wouldn't stop me from recommending the cafe.
I love the CIobar italian hot chocolate, its thick and whipped. Selection of food is great.
My favourite is the Cheeky Youngman... Ciabatta with sliced guanciale (cured pork cheek), nduja (spicy, spreadable salami), shaved pecorino, pickled fenneland herb salad.

Another new little cafe on High St in Preston with a lovely interior. I had lunch here with a friend. We both ordered the house cured salmon. Very tasty. My coffee was great and on the hot side which i prefer, as warm coffees I tend to drink all at once. Relaxed ambiance. Staff very attentive and friendly. Will be back for sure.

It is so good to have this lovely cafe in North side of Central Preston. Friendly service and great high quality food. The problem is that they get too busy too often. My new favourite cafe in Preston.

This part of High St Preston is light on for good food and coffee, hence Youngman Cafe is a welcomed addition. Easily the best coffee in the area and food is tasty however on the expensive end you expect to pay at a cafe.

This new little hot spot has amazing coffee and the chef cooks better than any place in Preston. Great food and great service.

We have eaten here several times over the last week. The food is wonderful, coffee is dreamy and the service is amazing. Staff are very welcoming and informative. If you're in the area come in and check this place out
Normally I like leaving silly reviews for fun, but as a Canberran, I don't know my way around the suburbs of Melbourne too much, and so I gave this cafe a chance for myself and a small group before we headed back home. Best coffee I think I've honestly ever had. Staff knew a lot about coffee in general, the preparation and even the chemicals released depending on how the coffee is made, I actually learnt facts from ordering a coffee. They had a partial power outage due to work next door and still managed to put together an awesome meal. Definitely have to visit again 👍
What a lovely little gem of a cafe. I was in the area looking for a breakfast and stumbled across Youngman. The cafe has a great atmosphere and is located well to pass the time if your car is getting serviced at one of the many dealers/mechanics on high street.
I had the Youngman breakfast which was tasty and served beautifully and recommend for those looking for a big breakfast with vegies otherwise the American breakfast also looks amazing, I also had a coffee which was good and I always appreciate latte art.
What really stood out was the service and service to regulars (which there seemed to be a lot of). Greating many by name and having a very friendly conversation really makes me wish I could add this place to my regular visits.
Overall a perfect place for a coffee and breakfast, Looking forward to coming back next time I'm nearby.

Amazing food and customer service. Food portions were well enough. Coffee was good as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I can't wait to go back again.
