Review Tina's Hot Bread - Preston

Chris Vesty
Tina's Hot Bread is a pretty decent Bakery, The Pork Rolls are fantastic the Bread is soft yet flakey and the Pork is cooked beautifully, the Vietnamese Ice Coffee is also really nice although I had to ask for more Coffee in it the first time as it was incredibly sweet to begin with. Yes I would definitely recommend Tina's Hot Bread.

I ordered a Vietnamese Ice Coffee (Cphe Sua Da) that was advertised for $4.50. When i added on an lipton ice tea bottle, the total came to $9. Aghasted by the $4.50 price of the iced tea I put it back and only wanted to pay for the coffee, in which they changed the price to $5 without my knowledge. They hid the eftpos terminal, and only when i checked my bank account did I realised they increased the price on the spot. This is deceptive business and atrocious behaviour by the staff at Tina's hot bread. When i tried to confront them about it they said it was surcharge for eftpos. Ive been a customer here many times and have NEVER been surcharged 50c for a $4.50 purchase. Ridiculous. Scammers. Coffee though, was pretty good šŸ‘

I had one of the VEGETARIAN banh mi and it costs me $7.80 with cheese and last week I paid $6.50 for the same thing. The lady owner is ripping customers off and she was so rude.Absolutely bad customer service. I will highly not recommend this placešŸ˜”

I absolutely love the chicken and meatball rolls. Perfectly flakey bread with juicy grilled chicken is just the perfect combo! 10/10 would recommend!

Unnecessarily rude. Small portions. Better choices nearby. Avoid and you would be angry for coming here. Regrets.

One of the worst roast pork banh mi in Melbourne. Though generous with the meat, it was dry and tasteless. Bread was also stale. Pate was non existent. The salad was also poorly pickled. Shocking for $8. Also a sneaky surcharge of .50cents for card payments.

Omg....the roast pork roll is to die for!!! The crunchy crackling laced on top of succulent roast pork with veggies on a pate/ buttered fresh bread roll is heaven! That's the only thing I go for on the menu...lol. H
aven't tried anything else.

Sometimes itā€™s the simple things in life that are good and today was no exception. The service was nice, quick and friendly.

I ordered a Vietnamese Roll w cold pork, salad and fresh chilli. The bread roll was crunchy and the salad ingredients fresh and tasty.

Apparently this is one of the better Vietnamese bakeries in Preston so I was pretty happy with that.

Oh and the price was very reasonable compared to other local places!

Been going this place for Vietnamese roll for past 7years love it. Their BBQ pork roll and Vietnamese pork roll are very beautiful . I have tried other places in north Richmond and Footscray and I have been to some famous place in Vietnam. Of course it canā€™t compare to the best places in Vietnam but defi much better than the other famous places in Melbourne. I wonder y the rating is not high it is really delicious !

This bakery is always busy, plenty of customers flow through with great efficiency. Staff are efficient and service everyone with ease and experience.
The lady that manages the bakery looks after everyone very well and treats her customers with respect and makes sure all is well- much appreciated!
Display cabinets always full of tasty offerings and I like their dim sims and Vietnamese rolls. The coffee is also good for a great price....it's a bargain on any day in my book.
The cakes and sweets are fresh and plenty to choose from. Always like the donuts and coffee from this bakery. It is so popular in Preston more seating is needed, but happy customers and office staff take away their goodies to enjoy.

Tina hotbread. I really like the Vietnamese pork roll and chicken roll they serve. I recommended it one of the best Vietnamese roll in Melbourne. Must try.

The Vietnamese pork roll I had was below average, later on during the night I felt a bit sick which lead to food poisoning.. To conclude this critic, the meal wasn't satisfying at all! Totally recommend Mai Lan few blocks down!
Cute and hygienic place for valuable rice veggie rolls and veggie bread sandwich.

I loved this place ... Make sure you order veggie rice rolls which is really good.

I usually do not recommend pork dishes or chicken.. Just go for their veggie brekky and some masala tea.

Highly recommended...

I ate a pork roll and was got food poisoning a few weeks ago, so I'm late to write this review
But I think it's important to tell people and hopefully the owners will improve the cleanliness and hygiene standards for the pork rolls

A simple little bakery run by friendly Asians, tucked away on the corner of Cramer and High Street. The selection of baked goods here is quite diverse. Food ranges from bacon and egg rolls, brownies, doughnuts, croissants, rice paper rolls and so forth. Ā

Their Vietnamese Pork Rolls are the best in the local area. The bread is crunchy and crisp to bite yet soft to chew. A reasonable size for $4.50. The contents of the rolls are stacked generously - carrots, meats etc. The chicken pĆ¢tĆ© that they use to spread on the rolls is also delicious.I enjoy the rolls here significantly more than the ones at the other Vietnamese bakery (Mai Lan Bakery) further down High Street. Tina's does not skimp on portions and the food is excellent value for money.Ā

I stand by Tina's as my local bakery that encompasses all that is fresh, friendly and fantastic all year round. If you are looking for great bakery products on a light budget, come to Tina's.

Decent pork rolls. Very flavoursome meat, although it is more of a pork meatball than BBQ pork. No complaints though, Tina's is my go to for pork rolls in Preston.
