Review Kundan Restaurants - Preston

One of the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Great food, fantastic service and awesome ambience. Food was fresh and taste as good as it could be and staff were amazing along with owner. Will come to try more food again, hope same standard will be maintained in my upcoming visit.

Indeed as other reviews says “ A very good authentic Punjabi Indian restaurant. Tasty , good quantity/quality and quick service. Ambience is superb for families. Owners are available(Vineet and his wife) most of the time for during the dinner time and open to accept suggestions for improvements. We tried Garlic naan, chilli chicken, chicken butter masala, paneer kadai and mango Lassi. It was superb and delicious.. I will not hesitate to visit the place again with friends or family.. 😀

I have enjoyed several meals at Kundan. The food is fragrant and tasty, with many options on the menu and accommodating staff. Beautiful interior makes for an enjoyable evening with friendly service. The FoH waiter remembered us and was sure to ensure everything was to our liking. Prices are very reasonable - two starters, two mains, rice and two glasses of wine costing less than $45 - and the wine is always poured generously. Our favourite restaurant in Preston.

Had Mum's 60th birthday here. Management was great, better than our expectations. Our guests were super happy. So many compliments. Big function space. And set up exactly the way we requested. Food was great, no complaints. Reasonably priced function.

Place is good to have party or get together. Management is really good n so helpful. Food and dishes are AWESOME, of course depends on the the occasion or food. But overall experience was good, oh yes MUSIC System need to upgrade, I took 1 star off just because of music system... so guys try to improve it

Kundan restaurant in Preston is a gem. We saw some great reviews on Google and gave it a try. Well, they amazed us with their food and service. The lamb sheekh kebab and chicken tikka can be rated the best in Melbourne. Have to mention the quality of the meat and ingredients. We will be going again and will be taking our friends too!!

Every time I come to Kundan I am immensely impressed. The service is top notch, everyone in the restaurant is friendly and makes me feel comfortable and welcome. The front of house staff are so polite, kind and can walk you through the menu. They make every effort possible. Sarthaka deserves a special mention, he is a brilliant server and has impecable manners. He goes above and beyond every time. The food is consistantly delectable, with flavours that are unmatched. Kudos to the chefs! The prices are perfect, splashing out here doesn't leave you strapped for cash. The venue is beautifully renovated and has a warm, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and dine in at least once, you genuinely won't regret it.

End to end awesome experience.....initial discussion, planning, food, party.....you name it. We had wonderful experience of my younger son’s first birthday party at Kundan Restaurant. Tasty food and cooperative owners & staff. Highly recommended.

Authentic indian food.. very reasonably priced and extremely tasty. Friendly staff and always helpful and good recommendations. I will definitely go back.

Mouth watering Indian food. Priced well. Must try the Lamb Seekh kebab, Pea and Paneer kebab and Chicken Ginger/black pepper. Highly recommend.
