Most delicious fish n chips I've ever tasted! Great price. Always crispy and fresh, best potato cakes and fish around.Service is amazing, very friendly people!

Is this really $16 worth of fish bites or was this an error? To clarify for the owners response: I wasn't confused that 4x4=16. More that when ordering fish bites its literally 1 single fish bite for $4. When ordering fish bites elsewhere, there are multiple. Potato cakes tasted weird and weren't cooked properly but at least I didn't pay $16 for 4 of them.

First time having fish and chips from here. Service was good, kind welcoming lady and very helpful. However chips, potato cake and dimsims were really soggy. and the chips seemed a little under cooked. it was a good portion of food, however was not very tasteful. Seafood stick was large however was not very tasteful and tastes like rubber.

Absolutely amazing customer service!! I cannot be more pleased with how I am treated every single time I order from here. The food is always hot, tasty and flavourful and my order is always cooked to perfection ...cannot be more pleased with every aspect of this place ! Definitely one of my most favourite places to get from 😋😋 Shall be ordering again very very soon !

PROS: Potato cakes and dim sums were good. Chips crispy and nicely salted. CONS: This is the worst burger I have ever had! I don't know how the patty was made or what it was made with but it was soft and gooey but not in a good way. It tasted terrible. The fish was dry and was rubbery It unfortunately ruined the meal completely.

I'm not sure if people leaving these reviews have ever had good fish and chips to compare too because this was far from that. I gave this place a try when the new owners took over and the batter around the flake was like a thick pancake and not cooked enough. Thought it might have just been a one off and gave it another go tonight. No improvement at all still thick uncooked batter and a tough rubber like flake, had to be binned.

Very disappointing fish and chip shop. I would not recommend them to anyone. Customer service was terrible, the guy was not wearing a mask or gloves when he prepared my order. They advertise a "half full chips", which is misleading and false advertising, when it really is a small serve of chips, it's not even the equivalent of half the minimum serve of chips. I ordered the chicken schnitzel burger, which was disgusting, I opened the burger up and the chicken schnitzel was a cheap, poor quality chicken schnitzel which had been over cooked to a point where it was burnt and black. The lettuce was brown and the tomatoes in the burger did not look fresh. To make it even worse there was what was supposed to be mayonnaise, but it looked more like a cheap alternative, which was spread thinly like butter. I threw the burger away, I will never go back there again. This fish and chip shop has no pride and care to the food they make for their customers.

One of the best places I’ve ever been to for a good feed , very affordable and friendly staff even if the owner supports Chelsea fc and I’m a merseyside red , I highly recommend this shop for anyone who is looking for great fish and chips like they made back the 80’s

I've been going to this local fish and chip shop now for quite sometime and find the food is good as is the friendly man behind the counter. I would definitely recommend this shop to other.

Ni Hao.  This fish and chips shop has some of the best fish and chips around and certainly not at the price of the "fish and chip upmarket charge you triple the price" shops and yet this so much better.  Congratulations to the chinaman that works here he is helpful and always happy to chat.  Fish Chip ?.  Yes please

True. The standard has dropped but still it's not too bad. The flake is ok and the chips are good. They give a generous serve. I keep going back. At least the staff are friendly.

Disappointed. Agree with previous comments. Prior to being taken over we loved their fish and chips! Now the flake and potato cakes are terrible (taste like the frozen pre battered type). We are very disappointed as this is our local fish and chip shop. We now get our take out from elsewhere. Please improve the quality and we will return, as will many others no doubt.

Used to be amazing......now very hit and miss. The guy taking over this shop needs to listen to the previous owners was the best Chips in the area and always great fish, however last visit fish was horrible and chips were not perfect as they used to be! its ashame as the previous owners customer base will go elsewhere unless they produce the quality we were used too...
