The pancake parlour is always a treat. But not Every time it's sweet. But this time I went was delicious!
First off, when we went here they were having a special. You could get 🥓,🥚and pancakes, for like $5! I came with two adults and one other kid. The food was delicious! Everyone ate as much as they could! Only thing that made me not give a 5 stars is the service took a little long. But I didn't mind that much. So 4/5 stars!
Yum yum yum!! Came here whilst nursing a pretty brutal hangover and it really hit the spot. Maybe don't question my order of a CC & dry next time though, I know it was 11am but I had a mighty need okay!! Don't serve booze that early if you're not down to sell it at that time. =P
came here after we watched a movie as we got hungry and needed a late night pick me up!
we got seated quickly but then took ages for a waiter to come over to take our order probably waited about 10 mins before someone came to serve us
we both ordered the short stack gluten free, i added strawberries on mine, pancakes were really yum and came to the table quickly considering it was a Saturday night! also really enjoyed try the Alice in Wonderland and Salted Caramel gluten free pancakes, absolute winner flavours! Pancake Parlour make the best gluten free pancakes so i was pretty satisfed
We tried the Tiramisu Pancakes which were honestly very delicious! It’s not too sweet because of the bitterness of the coffee - and yes you can definitely taste the coffee! I really like the mascarpone on the side which makes it more ‘tiramisu’-like. And the choc chip bits give the dish some nice texture. I would recommend trying this pancake flavour!
The best pancakes- light, fluffy and a real childhood throwback! Quite cheap too at just $11 for 2 hot cakes. I would definitely return here for more.
We enjoyed our meal at the pancake parlour other than a few issues. The hash brown wasn’t much of a hash brown more of a pile of crispy scraps and the drinks took longer to arrive than our meals. My coffee was cold it took that long to arrive and I’d finished my meal before it came too. The food was nice and the waitress removed the coffee from the bill. Would definitely recommend as the pancakes are excellent and service was adequate.
The pancake parlor here is situated in a very secluded spot and didn't have a large crowd despite the large seating area. The ambience already sets the mood for a good stay with moving themes and decorations. The service was extremely slow despite us being just one of the two diners there.
They took around 30 minutes to take our order yet was apologetic and nice. We ordered the short stack with butter and hotcakes with salted caramel crunch. Both these items were well prepared giving it a fluffy texture to the pancakes and heavenly when garnished in the caramel flavor.
A good spot for any occasion, even for a date/meeting etc. Would cost you alittle more than usual however.
My partner and I dined here yesterday after having some dinner in the city, they were pretty quiet with about 3 tables that were taken. The manager was a very well mannered man with a side of sense of humour, so was our waiter which made our dining experience enjoyable. $19.90 for our tiramisu pancakes (2 stacks). A bit on the pricy side but still worth it!
Really enjoyed the pancakes here. Nice and fluffy with loads of toppings. Very flavourful. Slight downfall is that it’s not the cheapest place for pancakes.
Super friendly service and attentive - especially on a Saturday night! Food came out quickly and was delicious - recommend the Mexican beef crepes and the chicken schnitzel on buckwheat pancake - so good!
The food at pancake parlour is always very consistent over all stores and obviously delicious!
This store is always quite busy and when walking in at night time (there are free tables everywhere) you have to stand there and wait just to be seated right in the back corner. Maybe a bit understaffed? Staff seem under the pump to clear tables and seat customers. Foods always great though.
The pancake were so delicious and the environment was pretty good for kids and family. Spent $12.5 here for 2 pancake because of the coupon. The vanilla pancake was great while the chocolate flavour ice cream was not bad. Vanilla ice-cream was better than chocolate one!
I love the ambience of it in the Northland! It is a good place for children and their parents to have gathering in there. I love the salted caramel pancake ! Although the sweet flavour is slightly over, the roasted and crunchy almonds is perfect match with the salted caramel sauce and pancakes. It is better that to share the short stack if you don't wanna get a full feeling. In my opinion, vanilla ice cream is better than the choco one for the stacks.
When you're craving banana split and you call your local restaurants who doesn't have it on their menu, you find yourself dining at Pancake Parlour Northland with friends.
Don't ever have an issue with pancake parlour service was fine, banana split and crepes were yummy 😋 hot chocolates were nice too.
A great place which provides variety of dishes savoury and sweet, even have vegan options on menu these days!!!
I'm most situations find myself to indulge in the new pancake though didn't get the chance to try it this time as banana split and crepes satisfied us...

A pretty decent franchise of the Pancake Parlour at Northland Preston. Went there for breakfast today. Loved that they are family friendly. We were offered a nice booth as soon we stepped in.
We ordered the traditional breakfast with bacon , stack of pancakes and scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict - in this case wheat pancake with poached eggs and ham slathered with hollandaise sauce, a cappuccino, a chocolate kids drink and fried chicken and potato kids meal.
The portion sizes were huge and the food was delicious. Only disappointment was the Hollandaise sauce. The Hollandaise sauce was meant to cut through the fat of the egg yolk and compliment the ham and wheat pancake. Unfortunately I thought there was bit too much of the Hollandaise sauce, which affected the balance of the dish.
But, overall a safe restaurant for a good hearty feed.
Had my first date here w now hubby so always a great place w wonderful memories. Beside that pancake parlour is all the same to me.
Great foot traffic as it is next to the cinemas. Prices are ridiculous for pancakes. Weird when your getting savoury mains but great for a mountain full of pancakes and ice-creams!!! Service is always quick. Seated immediately as there are plenty of tables. Open late.
Staff attentive & friendly somewhat. Just usual pancakes with massive servings. Nice before going to Cinema. Spacious inside & retro vintage American ambiance. Weekends busy for cinema crowd. Pricy but poor quality however bigger in quantity. Overall 3.2*

POSITIVE: great late night service, the pancakes were delicious and so was the drink for an indulgent snack.
NEGATIVE: price is a bit exaggerated however there's lots of vouchers out there that can assist in this matter.
The best thing about this place is that it opens late. So for a person like me its a saviour. The interiors and ambience of the place are nice anf up top. Coming to the main thing. ..food. The pancakes and related items are awesome. Tge short stack is quite nice. Even the shakes taste pretty good. The only worry about this place is that it is quite expensive. So I have to actually think before going here.

Great pancakes, great food, wayyyy too overpriced! Perfect spot right next to the movies at Northland SC. If it wasn't so expensive I would go more often. I LOVE the IT pancake and my boyfriend loves the chips the the bacon and cheese (I forgot the name but pictured below). Those chips were around $18 for a fairly small portion for the price...
This pancake parlour is perfectly located near the cinemas and great place to eat before or after a film. My friend and I had short stacks which were fluffy and not too sweet. We both struggled choosing what we wanted so we will definitely be back to try the other pancakes and desserts.

The lady told us about the specials which was very nice of her. The food was bought out super fast! My deluxe fries were delicious and very generous size. My partners hot ball was very tasty too.
These guys do the cottage fries better than the other pancake parlours. Always have high energy bubbly staff to make the experience a great one. Them prices though....
A nice fun night with friends. Love the set up as it's very unique. Pancakes came out nice and out and very fresh. Expensive for simple pancakes but good for a special night.

when you pay for a main meal after 7pm which was $27 before 7 $16 and the serving size was really only worth $16
when you can buy a good steak for $27 it was way over priced
the service was very good tonight
but remember Monday to Friday until 7pm cheaper meals and happy hour with $10 drinks 4-7
The beverage staff member was grumpy but floor staff were fantastic although a little manic!
One of my all time favorite place to have a pancake.. Fresh Strawberries is my favourite pancake of all time.. The Raspberry and Rubarb pancake is great too.. Very over priced .. but i still love my pancakes from the Pancake Parlour.. :)
Used to go here a lot, nice food, savoury or sweet. However go during the lunch time special on weekdays otherwise it can get pretty expensive. My favourites are the barramundi, cottage fries and the short stack. Love the buckwheat pancake options! Nice atmosphere too
I've been coming every year for my birthday and I love the food. Beautiful pancakes and best icecream! Staff are pretty friendly too.
Good food and service. Pancakes are great quality and their cocktails are delicious (cheaper during happy hour). Overall it was very pleased
I had a good dinner here tonight. It was totally packed on a sat but we got a table fairly quickly. I ordered the lamington pancake which was delish and hubby Mexican beef bean pancake. We were served in a decent amount of time. It wasn't the cheapest meal, mine $18 and the bean one $26.50! So basically only the price was a turn off for me but I will come in to meet friends for drinks etc.
Not that bad !. It's heavy though but I do not mind visiting this place again. It's next to cinema hall and its serves good and rich food.

Yes the food is dear but it's so gooood & I see it as a treat. Also, the cappuccino coupons are a good idea. One bad thing though, the waiters should pay attention to customers that have just sat down to look at the menu & realise that weren't not ready to order just yet!
Of all the pancake parlours, only second to the original in Ballarat. The ballarat PP is best hands down and the original - As far as pancake parlours around town, this is the only one that has ever served me an ok meal without gravely dissapointing me. At least when i get a real lemonade its a real bloody lemonade, and not a $7 cordial. Its pricey as any other PP, but the service has always been great and the food has followed. The only problems ive had with this PP are the other patrons,

A big night means a big breakfast. We managed to haul ourselves out of bed at 4pm to get to The Pancake Parlour in time before they closed their breakfast menu at 5pm. We both got pretty much the same thing - Traditional Bacon and Eggs with buckwheat panc
