Review Cibo Expresso - Prospect

Very nice coffee and croissant for late breakfast/brunch outside in the sun. One thing about a few of the coffee places on Prospect Rd, is that they’re lucky enough to have outdoor seating areas - which is so great when there’s sun out! This particular cibo is lucky enough to have an outdoor area bordering the Vine St Plaza, which is just lovely. The coffee came out as I ordered it - 3/4 fill only. Cibo doesn’t usually let me down on good textured, silky froth on a Cappuccino and this one didn’t either. I asked for the croissant to be just warmed, not toasted and it was. It also was not floppy from having been put in the microwave. So they toasted it lightly, as I requested. And it was fresh tasting and absolutely delicious. A yummy and satisfying little repast before studying at the nearby library. Oh, Cibo Prospect also has disability access.

The best coffee place on Prospect Road. Clearly by a mile. Staff are very friendly, service is always perfect, and it is pretty fast and quick. Cibo makes very good hot chocolates and ice chocolates and also good banana bread. Highly recommend Cibo

I can't believe I've never reviewed my go-to Cibo! I work nearby and love coming here for an escape at lunch time, sitting outside in the little courtyard in the sun. The staff are super friendly, and they always bring my coffee to me when I'm stuck on a phone call. Also consistently delicious lattes here. Thanks so much!

Very disappointing to discover that they use an an old scamwich trick to scam customers out of money. Slicing their baguettes so they look fuller than they are. Shamefull. Not worth $13 Check out the picture.

Got mixed feelings about this place, often go here, but just had a coffee that tasted like it used off milk. What do you in the situation Cibo? I'm already home and I'm not going back now to whinge about it ... Alas I end up on here

Service and kindness not the best that normally you find on Cibos. Coffee as expected, but remove stars because I already mentioned, beside there were a couple of tables with dirty cups were we couldn't sit because of that. I will change may review if on my next visit something has changed. You can do it!

Cake and coffee delicious! staff really lovely but having the dishwasher amongst the dine in customers made for a super noisy time and we just had to get out of there! The constant banging of plates and clattering of cutlery was so loud, we had to raise our voices over the noise, to hear each other. We felt sorry for the people on tables right near the work station! The small partition wall on the counter does absolutely nothing to dull the noise. Id only recommend take away from this cafe.
