Pub In The Paddock - Pyengana - Photo album

We came in on a Sunday evening hoping for dinner, that sadly wasn't available, so we settled for a drink to go eat dinner later at our camp. The owners were super inviting and friendly, having a nice open conversation about the pub etc. They were that nice we came in the next day for lunch and were
Great fun pub with fast, decent food. Famous for Pricilla the pig who likes to drink beer!!! Very picturesque drive in surrounded by green dairy farms and rolling hills. Excellent motorbike ride through the winding mountain roads.
From the moment we arrived at pub the waitress was very rude, threw cutlery on counter no please or thank you. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains. My main a seafood chowder arrived first. Then starter's which should have had plum sauce but came with BBQ Sauce. Then mains which left a lot to be desir
Seems we had a similar experience to others... Unfortunately the rude and unfriendly woman taking our order ruined the place. Acted like we were personally putting her out. Also said we had to pay for water even though licensed venues are meant to give free drinking water. Couldn't make a lemon, lim
Lovely idea dining in the Pub in the Paddock, beautiful environment and surroundings. The food was average at best, tiny cous cous salad, tasty enough if you weren't hungry and a burger and chips that would possibly fill a kid's belly.
Unbelievable dining experience. As a solo traveller the place was so welcoming and cosy on a rainy day. Food was outstanding and staff lovely. It’s a country pub, set your expectations as such and you will love it. Will come back here every time I visit Tassie ❤️
Was a nice meal! Very oldy worldy restaurant and pub which was really cool. Wooden floors were old and beautiful
Highly recommend! A great spot to come for a meal and drink(s). The staff (and locals) are friendly, the meals are good, the beers are cold and it's in a relaxing location. Definitely come check this pub out if you're in the north-east of Tassie mountain biking, hiking or otherwise exploring.
