The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and very accomodating. We had such a good meal on the Saturday night that we decided to return on the Sunday. In the middle of a busy annual music festival weekend a table was found for us and our order taken quickly . Yet again the food didn’t disappoint. The mussels were so good and our seafood risotto was delicious. I would highly recommend.
Family friendly Italian restaurant on the Main Street, We ordered the pizza, myself the Lombardi house special, my wife the Chicken Bellarine, and my 2 year old the penne bolognaise.
The food did take a while to arrive, and it is quite expensive but we were pretty happy with what we got.
The thing I really liked was our pizza was not salty through its core. It tasted fresh and the ingredients were of a really good quality. The pasta for a kids meal was Al Dente, I’d probably cook a little bit more for children but that’s a minor observation.
Overall a pretty good experience and I’d recommend Lombardi’s to anyone visiting the area.
The fettuccine marinara that my husband had was good although the sauce was a little 'tart' but the seafood was fresh and plentiful. Serving size was generous although not excessive. My vegetarian fettuccine was supposed to be served with oil but I asked for it to be in a Napoli sauce, which they did with no issues. The pasta lacked salt but with salt, cracked chilli and Parmesan cheese..... a very very good dish.
Excellent pizza (I recommend the Mediterranean) and pasta, fair prices and decent wines on offer. Very friendly service and pleasant dining space. I highly recommend this for a dinner outing if you're in Queenscliff/Point Lonsdale.
Really nice Restaurant with great food and very generous serving sizes 😀. The service was outstanding, with the staff more than willing to help with Vegan options. Hats off to the team at Lombardys!
Excellent friendly service & one of the best pizzas we've ever had. The Chilli Prawn salad was fresh & packed a decent hot punch. The waiter was lovely & fun with our 6yo. Kids are very welcome & they even have a play area. Although it's family friendly the way the place is set out you can still sit away from kids & enjoy a romantic dinner for 2
We ordered takeaway pizza from here...2 pizzas. Not huge- but fine for us. Heaps of toppings and a nice base.
It probably took 10 mins of waiting from order to picking up.

After a busy day that involved the Forkwit pushing his good friend out of a plane, we were very hungry. Lombardy's was the establishment of choice. Let me make this clear, I don't eat mussels. However, the Portarlington mussels at Lombardy's were GREAT. The sauce.....amazing. We ordered pizza's as well which tasted great and were full of flavour. The supercharged hot and spicy pizza was hotter than Megan Fox pre plastic surgery.

Had a lovely Sunday night dinner here. We were met with very friendly service that was both attentive and down to earth. They had a very good range of wine and beer - especially liked the craft beers. The food was also delicious. Had the dip plate with homemade bread and tasty warm olives. Mains were chicken pesto penne and Mediterranean pizza - both were presented nicely and of course tasty! It's a little pricey but it's worth it for a treat. Will be returning!
Had a lovely meal here tonight, the service was excellent. From the minute we walked through the door, we were waited on. Can't fault Lombardys On Hesse, would definitely recommend.
Good, honest food and family-friendly. This is a restaurant that actually WELCOMES and encourages family dining, with the convenience of opening early from 5pm - fantastic if you're bringing hungry kids off the beach. The food is honest - no pretence, no dots of sauce on plates, no foams or gels - just honest pizza and pasta that has been prepared carefully.
Get the orders right please.. Went in on Sunday night for dinner. Not overly busy with about six tables in use. Two of our four orders were wrong and it was blamed on the computer. The food was OK but the portions were small for the price. The service was sporadic and not predictive.
This place is exceptional. Consistent food and service. The best Hawaiian around and super gourmet pizzas. Friends have awarded this cult status and won't visit Queenscliff without a meal at Lombardys.

We ate at lombardys this evening . We found this a great restaurant. The food was very good and great value . The Staff were extremely friendly and attentive without being in your face . They provided a children play room which is fabulous for kids and parents alike as well as other diners . We would recommend this place to other visitors to the area
The Family Pick of Queenscliff. As the skipper of a big family of 4 under 10 it's hard to find a restaurant that offers as much in Queenscliff. The Pizza and Pasta were on par with Melbourne and regional establishments for taste and quality. My kids were the testament to this asking for more pizza and Bolognaise. The kids playroom was excellent. Service was great with no request being too much hassle. Food was reasonably priced. Great range of wines. Great family restaurant!!!
Great to find a restaurant with so many gluten free options. I had vegetarian pasta which was very tasty. The other 3 at the table were also very happy with their meals. Service excellent.
Not much to choose from in Queenscliff. Go after 7.00 to miss the kiddy crowd and you'll get good service, a decent freeh pizza and a value wine list. The risotto was ok and the chilli prawn spag had a good number of prawns and quite tasty. Not amazing but pretty good.
Fantastic family-friendly restaurant. We arrived before kitchen opened and were made feel very welcome. Really friendly staff; great family menu (5 year old says best frog in the pond ever!); lots of atmosphere at 1800 on a mid-week winter evening. Good kids play area. All round great for young families early evening
Had dinner here a while back. LoH is one of the more affordable dining options in Queenscliff offering well priced, quality Italian fare.
Quite a nice italian restaurant. The pork terrine was excellent, and the rest of the food are generally ok. Fresh pasta is always good, but they put too much ingredients in comparison to the amount of pasta. The cream sauce in the beef tortellini meal was split, but that of course didn't affect the flavour. Overall, considering its locality, it's worth coming here for a meal.
Fabulous menu with extensive seafood, pasta and pizza options. I had a gorgeous chicken and mushroom risotto and my friend had a seafood marinara in white wine which she said was light and fresh.

With all the activities going on in Queenscliff in May, Lombardys was open enabling us to have a meal before hand. They were welcoming and helpful. Delicious meal and wine. Thankyou😁😁

Food: overall very tasty, pasta was a bit peppery for our taste, risotto was a tad bit salty. preparation of the prawns in the risotto could be improved as there were still digestive tracks in all of the prawns in the risotto.
Excellent quality Italian, never fails to impress. The five of us ordered a wide variety of dishes, and everyone had something superb. As always, the welcome was wonderful and the staff very prompt and helpful. Lombardys has been such an institution here for a long time now, and there are no signs of that importance fading. Can't wait to come back once again.
If you want a nice place to relax and enjoy a great dinner with friends or family Scotty and Lombardys are the way to go. Never any issues and very accommodating.
