Awesome breakfast at Charlie Noble this morning! They were extremely busy but service was great!. Extra Hot Cappuccino's ordered & for once (unlike most places) they arrived as ordered..HOT!
Food was amazing & not overpriced!.. Had the Hash Browns with Eggs Benedict..Home made Hash Browns that were fluffy & delicious wh a creamy Hollandaise, smashed avocado, Ham & Poached Eggs..Delicious!!..
Others at the table had the Pancakes.. again.. they were delicious and beautifully presented.
Well done guys. We will be back for sure!
Friendly service at this cafe with a gorgeous view. Quick service for a Saturday mid-morning on a sunny day!
Have had the pizzas and chips last time, thick pizza bases with some delicious, simple toppings (loved the pizza one) and the chips were hand cut/home made and delicious.
Went for Brekkie this weekend, eggs poached perfectly and the bacon was thickly cut - which is not my preference, but still cooked nicely.
Will definitely be back to try the pancakes - that looked amazing!!
Coffee also good 👌🏼
Charlie Noble was a brilliant find right by the water in the marina and just next to the Queenscliff ferry. Its decor is quite simple but the food was really good. Came on a weekday and had the chicken schintzel which came on a very tasty salad while my wife had the prawn pizza. Very friendly and quick service too. Will definitely be back when in the area. Great job guys👍
Beautiful cafe, even better location, right on the water. Queenscliff is an awesome town w the food to match. Ordered the local portarlington mussels, veal tortellini, and Angus beef burgers. All sensational, will be returning soon 😁
Perfect..... the only let down.... the price, but we are at a holiday destination so shouldn't expect anything else?
Coffee was hot and perfect, so much so that we ordered two each. The calamari salad although not a huge serve for a main was cooked to perfection.
My 'grain salad' with chicken as a side was brilliant. It was tasty, well cooked and the flavours worked really well together with the goats cheese, roasted pumpkin, chicken and the quinoa.
Has my tick of approval..... and the outlook..... spectacular!!!
Base in melbourne, come for short bday trip, asking seafood, coffee and pasta!! Definitely will back again!! Haven’t got chance take photo, because looks so yummy and can’t wait to start eat haha
Always a pleasure to stop here for breakfast or a late lunch. Food is fresh and delicious and the service is great. Rustic benches overlooking the pretty marina, love that the puppies are welcome too.
Absolutely amazing breakfast! Both my partner and I could not fault our meals. He had the poached egg/avo smash with added bacon and I had the pumpkin fritters. Holy moly - 10/10, so very delicious. The ambience of this place was great too, pet friendly and was so nice to look out to the boats docked. I would highly recommend!
Ordered the Aussie pizza, was pleasantly surprised when it came out. Poached egg and smoked ham made it special, not your typical Aussie pizza. Base was really crispy at the bottom which was really nice, crust was crispy but on dry end. Despite that I still really enjoyed every bite of it.
Great meals and menu, with a couple of dishes, that don't feature in the run of the mill cafe menu line-up. My curiosity over which, paid off (I recommend the Corn Salsa dish, and the Hash Brown sides are great). Fair prices and friendly service. Picturesque dining setting too.
I had the cheese burger, it was delicious and drippy, lots of sauce drippings onto my super crispy chips. Just the way I like it. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was fresh and trendy.
Fitted us in for lunch at late notice. I like the simple menu with great, tasteful dishes done well. Efficient, accommodating and friendly service. Calamari, and beetroot and goats cheese salad both excellent.
Went there for Father's Day lunch without a reservation and were so lucky to get a table. Like most places around Queenscliffe the menu is not overly extensive but what they had us beautiful. My wife tried a Margarita and I was quiet impressed that is was made with traditional Italian ingredients: sooo yummy.
I had a ploughman's platter and although it didn't look like much, it was amazing and very filling. If I ever get back to Queenscliffe, I'll be sure to hit them up again.
Delicious brunch combined with friendly and quick service is a combination that can't be beaten. We managed to get a table inside, as the day was pretty chilly, although we were offered seating outside with blankets as when we arrived there were no tables free. Thankfully some people left just as we were chatting with the waitress. Really happy with my House Hash Brown, which was perfectly sized and delicious. Coffee was also great, although The addition of lactose-free milk would have made it perfect. Highly recommended.
This place is ace! Great service and really reasonable prices. Both food and drinks are great - both in respect to price and quality. 7 bucks for a delicious furphy ale stubby? Can't complain. Rock on.
Fantastic cafe . Love the pork belly pizza. Great service and lovely staff who care about their customers . Have been here twice now this year and keen to go back . Dude with the beards cool !
The field mushrooms on toast with pesto is outstanding! So delicious and definitely one of the best meals I've had in Queenscliff! Highly recommend this place!
Such an awesome queenscliff find!
We had the prawn and mussels linguini and the slow roast beef with sticky beetroot, ricotta and caramelized onion jam pizza and both were absolutely delicious! Am tempted to go back tomorrow to try more of their food :)
Been here a few times now. Food is yummy, both breakfast & lunch, coffee is good. Service can either be great or so-so.
Lovely dinner. Dinner for three last night. The service was friendly and casual, but also efficient. Menu was limited in size, but still offering a surprising variety of interesting meals. This is a good thing as other places with large menus rarely deliver a good product on all. The meals tonight were all beautifully presented and full of flavour. Prices were also very reasonable, bordering on cheap. There was also a musician playing on this Friday night who was very good. Just creating a relaxed atmosphere with a bit of a vibe. Overall a lovely dinner with nothing to improve. Highly recommended.
Surface interval. Between dives try the breakfast pizza. Yummy and enough to share.
Must be the yummiest and cheapest place to eat in Queenscliff. Pizzas are always delicious and nearly sufficient to share between two. The standout though is the seafood linguini ... Sensational and at about $18 seriously good value for money. I suggest that they improve the dessert menu and they would have the complete package....highly recommend though
Best in queenscliff. Honest and fresh breakfast. Quite a small selection, but all well cooked and something for everyone. Certainly the best in queenscliff, and leaves kelp for dead.
Perfect coffee, great creative breakfast items, inhouse baked goods.... Service is spotty but they obviously are trying hard.
What a wonderful lunch! Sensational food; we had the house made gnocchi (Which i highly recommend) beef panini and garlic cheese pizza. The flavours were perfect and the blend of ingredients well matched, cudos to the chef! This, coupled with the beautiful water views made for a very enjoyable experience. We also received personal greetings from the owner Tarren to ensure our experience went well. Now that's service! Highly recommend.
Had lunch - really excellent house made gnocchi and great beef & horseradish panini in a lovely setting overlooking the boats.
Great Lunch awesome setting.. My wife & I stopped here for lunch before getting the ferry across to Sorrento the meal was really tasty & great value for money. The only thing I would say is some of the staff might want to stop talking with there friends & concentrate on serving the paying customers otherwise a great meal would defiantly recommend for a Sunday lunch.
Not sure why all the tables weren't full. Apparently they opened in September 2012 (four months ago) - I clearly have not been paying enough attention when weekending here.
I had walked down to have lunch at the cafe next door but their tables were full so thought I'd give Charlie Noble a try. Despite looking fresh and funky and with a take away coffee hole-in-the-wall, the place was pretty much empty. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!
The coffee was fantastic. The service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the porterhouse steak panini with mustard and slaw - delicious! The table next to me ordered one of their pizzas and it looked great.
It's the kind of place I expect in Melbourne - but with a wonderful view of the warf.
I will most definitely be back and bringing others.
Newly opened the decor is probably the best in town. Feels a bit like a Melbourne cafe and abuzz with customers. We went there the first night and were told it was a 40 minute wait for pizzas so decided to come back for breakfast the following morning. The service is a bit slow and needs some systems in place. Staff look like they are wondering around aimlessly, no assigned sections. Coffee is good but not to the standard of Melbourne but forgivable in a seaside town!
Food is good however, i had the hasbrown and smoked salmon dish with a poached egg for $17.50. just need to work on portions as they are smaller than Melbourne and for that price you would want to walk away satisfied. All in all probably the best breaky spot in town.
Fantastic wine and beer selection with a delicious menu to compliment! A lovely place along the water and well worth a visit to the friendly and efficient wait staff.
A clean and cosy place with indoor and outdoor seating. Great view of the harbour. Great for big group and families. Staff are friendly. Food and beverages are good. Love the full glass panel design as it allows a good amount of sunlight into the restaurant, giving it a warm and cosy touch.
Great weather this morning for a late breakfast, coffee, brunch with a view of the boats in the marina. Sitting outside under shelter at a bench, there are tables under umbrellas and uncovered benches as well. Kids menu, breakfast menu, the special today was a brekky pizza. There was a 15% public holiday surcharge today with no entertainment cards accepted.
Lovely brunch from the wharf. Food was delicious, service was quick and pleasant. Great place to come for a relaxed breakfast with a view.
Always go here when we're in Queenscliff, great food and Coffee with speedy service
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was superb - friendly, informative and considerate. Don't underestimate the chicken snitzel! The fennel and dukkah salad that went with it was incredibly delicious. The crema on my long black coffee was the best I've had in a long time and the coffee was perfect. Can't wait to go back!
Yummy food and good view. Meals were tasty, we had Scrambled eggs, Poached eggs with bacon and Shakshuka. Some of the meals are a little over priced for the size and only downfall on the menu is there is no “big breakfast” on offer.
A great place for lunch, particularly outside on a sunny day. I had the burger, a juicy and well-cooked beef patty with a great selection of toppings and a generous side of fries. Fast service, too.
