The best breakfast in town. Had poached eggs, perfectly done, and bacon. Tops! Tea was unfortunately in a bag. Normally leaf tea is available. Worth a visit.

We dined in for the 1st time. We are local residents. We had 2 local chefs with us, table of 4. One of the chefs can’t eat hollandaise sauce due to allergy reasons. He asked to hold the sauce on his meal Salmon Eggs. The chef of this Cafe had an outright rage we could hear from our table saying there are no alterations though on their menu it states let us know if you have any allergies, which we did when ordering, confirming 4 times to hold the hollandaise. He threw the returned meal in the bin when it was sent back as he put hollandaise on the Salmon eggs (we heard it land in the bin!). He then proceeded to stare at us with a death stare. If we hadn't of paid, we would have walked out. It was such an awkward and uncomfortable experience and such a shame for a local Cafe in the middle of winter! The Cafe was almost empty. Won't be returning.

Had a very nice lunch sitting in the backyard of the cafe under a lovely large tree, coffee was great, as was the quality of the food Flathead tails were obviously fresh from a local source and beautifully cooked My partner had breakfast and said it was also delicious

Fresh produce done to perfection ! That's what you want when you're traveling to a new place. Loads of places to eat according to Google but this particular chef treats the produce with care and respect. In return you get a huge plate of beautiful food for such a reasonable price. Try. You will be delighted

Walked into the ocean bar cafe about to spend at least $60 with them, but……..the staff were extremely rude to us, this old lady around 80 years old behind the counter was extremely arrogant and nasty telling us to put masks on but before we had the chance to put on our masks we were being bombarded with abuse to get out, extremely disappointed in the service here and I highly recommend that no one’s goes here I also highly recommend that they take the time to do some good training to learn how to properly treat customers that want to spend money with you, I will never be back and I hope people read this and make the wise decision to go elsewhere. What happened to people treating customers with respect.

This cafe is a hidden gem. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful. A must to visit when in Queenscliff.
